Rubbish, I love my life in England, my work and my family. People here have the opportunity to study for the thing they are passionate about, education equals happiness.
I believe the 'reliever term' is for RMOs only. I went out and worked as a medical PHO (junior reg) for a year and this didn't apply to me. I could ask for leave whenever I wanted!
As soon as you get rid of private contractors such as the ones running Urgent care centres, catering, cleaning ect...and employ people directly as well as getting better management, it can recover, everything outsourced has a big chunk of money reserved for profit, why not use that big chunk by paying doctors and nurses more and employing more people so you get waiting lists down. The private contractors especially when it comes to things like catering are just very very bad and it doesn't benefit patients, it just keeps them sick and coming back to hospital or staying in longer.
Interesting post would be plastic surgeon salaries in London compared to OZ plastic surgeons. London plastic surgeons probably make more . But I don’t think London plastic surgeons are employed by NHS. Eg they are private. Most Aussie Drs are sub-contracted no annual leave.
I wouldnt even know how to go about arranging an FY3 in australia :( I feel everyone knows someone and and contacts to get work. id be trying from scratch!
UK medical system is far behind the Australian system. If you want to learn from valuable doctors then Australia is the go. Doctors in the UK unfortunately do not make big money like doctors here.
@@salls523 I lived in Australia all my life and worked in most states here. Been to UK recently. Australia is definitely cheaper as you also get paid more here.
Hey there Kiran, 27yo Medic here also (albeit, in my 4th year of 5 years of med school). Was curious whether Kieran's experience in Australia was as a FY doctor, or as a senior registrar? As from what he's described in this video, he appears to be discussing rotations?
30hr trip is a reason not to go to Australia? 😂😂😂😂😂😂come up with a better excuse bro. These reasons are what IMG's deal with in the UK everyday. They are not strong enough to discourage those who have done their research😁.
Ahah yeah this video is part of a whole series about going to Australia, there’s also one about why doctors should go there (check out the series on my channel!)
Is it that easy to work in Australia? Won't one need to pass AMC exams for working in Australia? You can't simply just go n start working from tomorrow
In Pulse magazine, the PM is quoted as saying ' We should not stop doctors emigrating to Australia'. So obviously it's damaging the morale of the NHS, government and MP want to introduce laws to stop them. So such a desperate crisis, and you should keep putting pressure on this government until they are finished. I'll have left the country by then 😅
I can never thank you enough Dr Kunle on You Tube for all your services, I tested Negative after taking your medication, you are truly a man of honor and words
I have to clear the exams for it first though, right? I’m a medical graduate from Ukraine trying to move to Canada on pr. And take masters while pr application is in process. If I don’t have to sit for medical exams I can to take relevant masters.
@@Kiran.Morjaria, when Captain James Cook on the ship, Endeavour first founded the east-coast of Australia in 1770, part of his role was to find a convict settlement in Australia, as the convict hulks were overflowing on the Thames River in London, England. The British had lost the 'War of Independence' in America and so they had to find another land in which to send their convicts - Australia was chosen - especially Sydney, Hobart and Brisbane. In 1788 the first convict ships, under Captain Arthur Phillip arrived: they first landed in Botany-Bay, not far south of Sydney-Harbour - then they moved a short distance up the coast to Sydney-Harbour in which they created a convict settlement. As Australians, we colloquially call English people 'Prisoners of Mother England' - (POMES) - because the weather in Australia is far better; we reverse the term convict to mean the English are trapped by their awful weather - and we are not the actual covicts - although we were. 🇬🇧🤺🇦🇺🦘

UK - Everyone wants to die
Match made in heaven 🤝

Self caused deaths , UK Green 5 to 10 per 100,000
Australia, Yellow , 10 to 15, you are higher.
Russia is the Red zone, very high.

@pennysonly ?? So it's just about money? Prices in the UK are not as high as in Aus, so how exactly did you compare it?
