Did you have an appraisal during your FY3? If so who with and is it required?
I've worked as a locum for a few years now, essentially I've had to have an appraisal each year I've worked as a locum. There are a couple of different options to go about getting the appraisal sorted. If you work through a locum agency like Holt Doctors, they may offer to cover the cost of your appraisal if you work so many hours through them. If you're working in a trust grade job during your F3 year, the hospital you're working in may be able to organise one for you. Or in some cases like myself I've had to pay to have one every year as I'm working as an internal locum rather than through an external locum agency and it can be quite pricey. This year mine is costing £420. Hope that helps!
