The bird with the Swedish name "Storspov", (Numenius arquata) usually comes to northern Sweden at the beginning of May. Here it is seen outside the city of Luleå.
Storspoven travels a long way here. So he needs a good bath after his trip. He bathes for a long time, dipping his head several times. But in the end he gets up. Shakes off the water and flies on to look for food.
