love all the old Ford trucks ,the only thing missing is a Bronco. Wish I would have kept all the one I owned ,but the 76 highway I drove from Alaska to Oklahoma was one of the nicest. thanks for the videos.Wade
Here in Ontario Canada we don't have quite the heavy winters you Alaskans do. I remember one cold winter morning when no vehicle in the yard would start except my Dad's old rusty truck. The look of pride on his face was priceless. He actually bought rust coloued trucks cause it saved time.lol
I couldn't help myself I went out and cranked up my old ford in the snowbank. 91 f150 heavy half short bed with the old 300 inline. it hasn't run for over a year. we only have a foot or so on the ground here so i didn't shovel. dropped in a battery she lit off before the battery died :D locked her in 4 wheel and took a joyride thru the fields. she is my repair project in the spring :)
Amazing battery to handle that much cranking in that low temp. Glad it ran, brakes are over rated anyway. Hard to start because the muffler bearing was frozen. Thanks for sharing.
Love your channel! Awsome hard work on awsome vehicles. I live in tropical Brazil but I've been vacationing in Alaska back in 2002, driving from Anchorage all around the state. Had a good glimpse on what is living up there in the wilderness with scarce resources. Glad to see someone young like yourself with the guts and into old iron including Ford trucks and WW2 stuff. AM into old iron too, including Fords too. Cheers from Brazil. Keep up the outstanding job!!! 💪💪💪🏆🏆🏆😎😎😎👍👍👍
my memory of living in tropical fargo nd the hood for my 67 mustang was on back order from ford so all winter I drove it without a good . it was parked outside not plugged in and every morning at 7:30 am I get in it and turn the key pump the throttle 3 times and it would fire right up. my o to her cars even plugged in and the engines full of warm water didn't like to start at -40 . but my hoodless unplugged 289 always fired up. it would take a can of windshield deicer each day because the heater core and fan were also on back order . yes I was driving at -,40 with my window down to help keep the windshield clear . I don't miss the snow and cold a bit
I really enjoy all your videos. I especially like the instruction on everything. Don't change anything. I knew the old FORD start. Take care and can't wait for your next video.
Damn that was one hell of a cold start. Lots of long cranking and pumping that gas pedal. Those old Ford pickups hate the cold. There are really cranky when they sit for a long time. Awesome video. Hope to see more. Thanks for sharing.
Yeah Brother! I had faith in you to get Ole Ethel awakened from her winter slumber. Thank you for featuring your toys that you had for awhile, we start missing them too! God Bless You.
Us northern folk know that the old rig runs great and starts perfect in cold temps! hahaha I always saw it as a challenge to get the old girls going, you knew you were in for a bit of a fight each time, but they always ran.
this is living proof of how reliable old ford trucks are! I watch your and peg's videos and these old and beat to hell olf ferd trucks just fire right up! Hell the green highboy barley has any cab or straight bodywork yet will fire right up and drive! its amazing! I love my shitty 1994 f-150 RCSB 4X4 5.0 5 speed! its a tank and I love it!
You probably could have used whatever you plow snow with to plow more of the snow away from it but then again you wouldn’t want to accidentally hit it and dent it!
You can't go wrong with a cherry old ford like that one. As soon as I role my old wood truck it will look as nice as yours. I have it pretty beat up but not quite as much as you.... nice old truck
A stove pipe under the pan would of been quicker as I'm sure its not wearing a alaska necktie. I kinda was surprised it didn't hit quicker.... I think that the points were a tad damp and not sending juice to the plugs always..... Which was fords biggest mistake, the 300 six, any FE block engine or the 7.3 diesel? Everyone of them that had oil on the crankshaft was or is still running... frigging okies really diggem!
You used the lid off of a jar of creamy peanut butter instead of crunchy. I thought everyone knew that you’re supposed to use a crunchy PB lid. Just some sarcasm on my part to illustrate how nit picky the comment section can be.👍
I like the floor window that let's you instantly check road conditions.
Ethel, the beautiful maiden herself has been awakened from her slumber under the blankets of frost and snow!
Gotta giver all the peanut butter !!

The real champion is that starter.
What a loyal ol’ girl.

Brings back memories of starting dad's 75 f100 with the 360 to plow snow.
Just like a ol Ford never died, beautiful snow Paradise. Lol

Watched it from beginning to end, love the narration! The gas gauge working or running on empty helps with the content?!? ;)
Snow is great fun
Snow is great fun?? Shovel it for four hours and get back to me on that! Lol
My brother said that looks like something I'd drive, I thanked him...I think he meant it in a good way!

Great coldstart and angles view! Thanks for sharing
You don't need to worry about brakes just put in the snowbank. Awesome video.👌✌

The snow is beautiful. I’m sure it gets old but it’s cool to see from 3k miles away. Thanks for the video
This should be an ad for The Legend Premium NAPA battery! 😂
Nice cold start and drive off by the old Highboy! Those are "real" snow tires on the passenger side of the truck! Love it.
I’m glad I found your channel. Really like the old Fords. Unfortunately can’t find any in my area. My mother sold his 77 after he passed.
Rusty ' n ' Running. Way to go.
great cold start and joy ride with this ol boy !
I love the videos and especially the ford truck stuff as I’m addicted to them just like you are. Keep it up
Yeah Brother! I had faith in you to get Ole Ethel awakened from her winter slumber. Thank you for featuring your toys that you had for awhile, we start missing them too! God Bless You.
Eventually the starter acts as a block heater.
That wing nut will be there in the Spring

That old truck wasn't expecting to go anywhere until spring, hard to wake up. It looked good once you got it going though.
Canadian ally here…looks warm there and not that much snow.
Great videos...I love old school trucks...always had Chevys myself. Also not so damn cold. Good stuff

Pray for spring! At least I will pray for an early spring for you.
she rolled over so long the temp gauge started to move. lol. ol fords dont like to hit for a bit but they do go. cheers bud.
Damn I love that truck!
I see you’re having a heat wave up there! I think you need to give that Green high boy some love as you use it a lot.
Thanks for the video! I enjoyed it. Amazing how that truck starts and runs. All the best! Looking forward to your next adventure.

Love the fast idle shock, those things a cost a MINT! 🤣👌
"Perl harbor another transfer case" my fuck what a legend.

I live in Kansas and Kansas been in a drought all winter we haven't have too much snow this year just a little dusting where I live
Me to as much as I hate snow I'll take it at this point
The return of the peanut butter lid, might start a little quicker with some jelly. It was 4 degrees this morning here, how cold up there?

Why not attach the exhaust to line and run a stack on right side
This truck invented the term 'trusty an rusty ' such loyalty ... Like to see a Tesla do that 👌
Yes might not look nice but is a runner. All good to see your a1 fleet great video 👍
Another epic video the ol greenbean is a legend 👌🏻

She's a gooden! Heck if ya put that ole girl in granny gear, that battery and starter will get ya home. lol
You need to scrap a 2 x 2 square in your windshield and you be a Boston driver
👍 👍
So that's a Cold start! The other ones should say Old start! 😆
Referring to old peg leg about the snow banks?
I had faith.
Some trucks just like to be at operating temp before they start lol.

Oh that poor starter motor!
I get a kick out of you avoiding all copyrighted terms like vroom vroom stick.
The poor old gal has a bad case of arthritis.
it has some broken shoulders bones, you'll notice when he opens the hood.
Even as starting fluid pyroil sucks. Idk what its good for lol

That girl needs a little loving to look better, hahaha.
