I'm sorry for being so inactive! I've been really busy with my personal life, I also got FL Studio so I had to learn the program before I was able to make any competent sounding music

I'm not sure why my music keeps on being compressed. It only gets compressed when I upload it to RUclips

0:09 it most likely wasn't. Because the zone might have been leftover and the id changed into aquatic ruin 2P. I believe neo emerald hill was a zone in early development but was scrapped also, how's an ancient ruin called "NEO" it was called greekolopis or smth idk in a very early back when time travel was thought for sonic 2, we estimated that because it has Greek like ruin.

But it was called Neo Green Hill in early prototypes lol. The level card says "Neo Green Hill" and it loads an early Aquatic Ruin. Olympus was cut before the game started development. It was intended to be called Neo Green Hill Zone when it was in development. It might be a remnant of a zone that was supposed to be a "newer" Green Hill. All we know as of now is that the level was originally supposed to be called Neo Green Hill Zone. I might try to reach out to Yasushi Yamaguchi on Twitter to see if they remember anything about this. I'm curious about finding out why it was originally called Neo Green Hill

@@starmanmars Interesting question. In pictures of early concept of West Side Island we haven't seen Aquatic Ruins but only the zones that can be related to it. Although we can enter the codes in emulator to access any level in Simon Wai prototype. And we can see that Neo Green Hill zone is standing with future zones if we match the early concept pictures with game codes. It replace Genocide City 2. The early name of the level matches with future but level itself doesn't. I think that Neo Green Hill and Aquatic Ruins aren't the same level. The name fits the level only if Aquatic Ruin is related to Dust Hill or Sand Shower (cause of it's music).
