    We usually fly and rent an RV to do loops around the USA....I've driven up many spots like this but never stay overnight. I have this weird fear of crazy people lurking in the dark. It's when I'm exploring and get that blissful feeling being in the beauty.... that's when I find myself snapping right out of the clueless mode to being on guard. Yep, I know you can be in danger just walking down any street... and people are mostly good but when they're bad, they're monsters. Monsters in their familiar setting while I'm not is too risky for me. National and state parks for me ;)

    It's so interesting to watch some of your older episodes. After seeing you in your new truck camper. What a great upgrade for you guys! Anyway, Utah is my home state. I've lived up by Vernal Utah and my Uncle worked at The dinosaur quarry that you just went to. It's pretty incredible like you said. As kids we went there every year. I grew up in Salt lLake City Utah. Now I'm in Southern Utah. St George area. It's growing like crazy unfortunately. But you should come down this way sometime I'd love to meet you guys! I've been watching your channel for a while. In Southern Utah , the Fall is just Beautiful!!! It's warm, the leaves change colors, it's so Beautiful and there's a lot to do down here. Lot's of petroglyphs, lots of National Parks. Zion, Bryce Canyon and more on my favorites. My personal favorite, that I live by now is Snow Canyon and there's tons of BLM land here so that's always nice. So if you get down this way let me know. I know some great hiking trails with petroglyphs, ancient ruins and lots of Indian reservation things to do. Love your episodes! Thanks for sharing and safe travels. 😎✌️🇺🇲

    Josie’s cabin is one of my favorite spots ever. So many legendary outlaws have spent time there because of the location and easy hiding in the horseshoe canyon there. I read more than one account where some pretty bad outlaws stayed at her cabin, she fed them and gave them a place to rest and she would sneak out and go through their saddle bags.

    "There's just something in your heart when its your home. You love your home" Amen! You are traveling through my "home" right now. Grew up in southern Wyo. and traveled and camped all through that area as a kid. I remember going to the dinosaur monument. My dad was a rock collector and we would go rock hunting and find all kinds of fossils and petrified wood. Awesome memories! I live in Ga. now but miss it so so much. My soul still lives out west for sure. Love your videos! Thank you for sharing your travels with us!

    The top 5 most beautiful States in the USA by internet rankings..California #1, Hawaii #2, Alaska #3, Utah #4, Colorado #5. California has redwood trees, a coastline and beautiful National Parks, but Hawaii is to far away, Alaska is to cold but in my opinion Utah is #1 in my books as far as climate and the vast array of landscapes.

    Stealth treasure. Better to keep it a Monument than a Nat Park. Keep the roads dirt and rough. That way it isn’t inundated with hordes of people and resultant rules and fences. And blue exhaust haze.

    There’s also a mammoth preserve monument park in Waco Tx, if that strikes yalls fancy? And just a mile or so from that is the Cameron park zoo in that area if you like seeing different animals, but I’d be best to do that when it gets fall season, cause our summers are excruciatingly hot & miserable!! And just for whatever reason, off animal & park topic, you can also go to Dr pepper museum & parlor is there too & go shopping at the market at the silos, which is chip & Joanna Gaines shop downtown Waco. Just throwing that out there! Skin walkers! 😂😂😂 scary as hell!!

    As a born and bred Philly boy, provolone with onions is a Philly cheese steak. Adding peppers isn't traditional, and neither is American cheese. Otherwise, thank you for getting my wife excited for tent camping! Nebraskans seem to look down on tent camping in favor of giant rvs, and I can't get into it since I grew up tent camping with my family and in the boy scouts. Keep it up!

    You have to go back and see the jewel of dinosaur which is Echo Park. It was the reason for the origin of the Sierra Club fighting the Corp of Engineers to keep them from damming up the Green River and covering up Echo Park. They had to compromise and let the Corp dam up the Colorado river covering up Glen Canyon which was even a bigger loss that they didn't realize which is now Lake Powell. The road to Echo Park is all dirt in Colorado, but it was the reason for the monument. It's a sad story that the beginnings of the ecology movement and Sierra Club started here because of the loss of Glen Canyon. The Corp of Engineers was relentless in trying to dam up every river they could in this country. The Buffalo River in Arkansas was the first to be off limits to the Corp of Engineers. Your home state! So you have to go back to Echo Park. By the way, the Uinta mountains are the only range in the 48 states that traverse east to west

    🙋🏻‍♀️ Growing up in southern Jersey a Philly Cheesesteak sub was a favorite. One can add sautéed green and red bell peppers along with onions, garlic and mushrooms. If you can find Picante Provolone cheese definitely upgrade as it has a definitive sharper tang to it which also blends nicely on regular Italian hero’s. Don’t forget authentic Capicola ham on your Italian hero as so many other states tend to omit along with the sweet red pepper relish to top it all off. 😋

      Cheese steaks are the easiest things to make, you purchase the thin slabs of beef aka
      Steak-umm Steaks. You than chop it up very fine and cut 1/2 of an onion very fine. The cheese you use is up to the person. I think her rolls looked really good the beef looked a bit too thick.

    • @HynoDesignsvIII
      @HynoDesignsvIII 2 года назад

      Here is the deal I have a bunch of these famous cheese steak places down the road from me and before the inflation the sandwiches were too much money. I started ordering these from the local Italian Pizza shops and they made them like I wrote above The one official Philly Steak place near my house, the beef is very thick, tough and full of grease. In other words mine are better. After I cook and chop my beef up, I remove all grease, it makes it better. Than for the cheese I use TOSTITOS Salsa Con Queso Medium to me this seems to work the best, use about 1/2 of a jar. These Cheese Steaks I also make with BBQ sauce and Pizza sauce as well and they taste a bit different. Sometimes on the Cheese Steaks will ad in a green pepper as well.

    “If we could find some BLM land with all these trees” made me laugh pretty hard. My dad worked for BLM for 36 years&we always had to camp on that land..never a decent tree to be had anywhere! Meanwhile @ other camp sites everything is all lush and green. 😂 Love your channel I am obsessed&also “geek out” at the waterfalls&streams&creeks!! ❤️

    Oh and that box with trash in it wouldn’t decompose by itself…its needs organisms to help it decompose…in a metal box it wont decompose at all as you can see.

    If you like skin walker stories you might want to stick around the area for the first annual Phenomecon fest.

    What do you all use to keep mosquitoes off you? I love camping but the worst is having to spray all the time because otherwise we’d get eaten alive!
