    Unfortunately died as I got to dps here as I was slightly too far forward and got hit by the Witness's first attack. Figured I would still upload what I had, as it might be useful as a somewhat consistent hunter strat to get to dps. Definitely a lot of work to do with this one, dps is not there at the moment, but with how skilled this community is, I wouldn't be surprised if somebody finds a crazy damage setup. Obviously, huge shoutout to Mariomonkey, the first person to upload a solo dps phase (on contest too), whose video can be found here: ruclips.net/video/w_WqsnuA7EI/видео.html

      Update: After watching a bit of TheSnazzyRock's stream last night, I noticed a small modification to the strategy that was used that makes getting to DPS a whole lot cleaner. If you use golden gun on the left subjugator, getting to damage is essentially free if you don't get frozen somehow, as the suspend from the strand subjugator is absolutely the most annoying part of this run. With a sword, and with that subjugator gone, it's almost painless to get to DPS, at least compared to what it was like before. This really only applies to the first phase though, as getting the golden gun and ammo is quite annoying with a sword post first phase. Maybe a machine gun over a sword could be the play.

    notice how it was circle every time. If you don't run mid to cleanse, you can keep the circle buff and break the arms instantly each time

      Yep, that's definitely the better move. This run was back when I didn't know the mechanics of this raid too well and thought you needed to stand in mid to shoot a glyph. I've been just holding onto resonance to break arms repeatedly in my runs as of late and, just like you mentioned, it's really nice to break arms quickly. I appreciate the advice!

      What counts as cleanse, going to middle and not breaking glyph? Does go to middle shoot glyph not count as cleanse confirmed?

    • @ninety-eight9855
      @ninety-eight9855  6 месяцев назад

      @@MICROKNIGHT3000 You have to break a glyph while standing in mid to cleanse your resonance or have a teammate break a glyph while both of you are standing in mid. If you just stand in middle, nothing happens.

    Does the buff matter, or differs depending on the hands you stagger (upward standing hands, versus downward hands) or is it all the same for staggers?

    • @ninety-eight9855
      @ninety-eight9855  7 месяцев назад +2

      You get the spherical buff from standing in the up hand's circle attack, the pyramidal buff from standing in the down hand's triangle attack, and the hexahedron buff from standing in the beam attack from the side hand. The buff you need to actually destroy a hand can be found by shooting it while standing inside its attack (triangle attack for down hand, etc.). If the part that you shoot glows red you need to get the hexahedron buff, if it glows gold you need to get the spherical buff, and if it glows green you need to get the pyramidal buff. My strat was to just repeatedly break down hands, so I needed to either get the spherical or hexahedron buff from either the up hand or side hand respectively. To break the hand and get the buff to destroy a glyph, you need to have the correct buff and stand in the hand's attack. So if I broke a down hand inside a triangle attack and saw it was red, I would go get the hexahedron buff from standing in a side hand's attack, then I would stand in a triangle attack again and shoot the hand that I shot at beginning.

      @@MaybeRocks haha, apologies for my subpar explanation, there's so many moving parts that it's a bit weird to write in words. The encounter makes a lot more sense when you're actually playing it, I was scratching my head reading guides trying to figure it out, but it made a bit more sense in game. Not actually that complicated, but there's so many elements to it that explaining it can be tough. Good luck learning it!

      @@ninety-eight9855 you’re good lol. Sometimes I just can’t catch the mechanics even when i try them myself. I never really liked RoN just because while the mechanics seem relatively easy on paper, my brain simply keeps the dots disconnected and I lost interest in the raid rather quickly. I’m still figuring out Vow, but that’s entirely because I love that raid.
      This one seems to have interesting mechanics, I’m just not sure I’ll ever truly understand them.

    This may be a dumb question but is this possible with 6 players, or is their something that stops this

    • @ninety-eight9855
      @ninety-eight9855  6 месяцев назад

      If you're referring to doing all of the mechanics solo, it's a bit more annoying to do so with six players purely because the triangle attack from the hand in the sky won't always spawn directly on top of you. However, it's still very much possible, just a little more annoying in that regard. It's definitely quite a bit easier with six players as well, just because you can have players dedicated to killing the left subjugator so it can't suspend you.
