If you go into the TR3-VR portion without slowing down and drop in BEFORE him, and then move quickly and stay ahead of him, you'll make up something like 30 seconds to a minute of extra time. I've seen other people do it, and with your movement skills, you easily could. Try it. You just have to make the turn at the first switch fast enough without him seeing you from a certain distance. The HUD info on the left side will flash (it'll go away and then come back) when it switches to Trevor's "zone". This is when his script starts running right after you drop down through the ramp. You just gotta race his script to get a head start on him.
how do you make 30 seconds to a minute if you just have wait 8 seconds ? in the normal run sometimes you wait longer yes but on legend it never happend to me
Thanks! I only figured this path out pretty recently, it's so nice to be able to skip those arc captains. Fun fact, there's a (slightly) faster path as well that I just learned about. When you get to the room with the vent (room at 6:09), if you look underneath the little ledge and around a few boxes, there's another vent there that puts you in the air above the gap between the silos. If you manage to recover, you'll end up at silo 3 directly!
