Apologies for how sloppy this run is, I cleared this the night before reset after realizing I still had a nez cp on my warlock. This was also my first time running this with a GL (I had only ever done rockets before), so the damage was a bit poor at first. Just goes to show that you can still solo this boss with subpar play.
Thanks! I get a kill and reload immediately with merciless at the start of dps to activate its perk "impetus" which functions similarly to kill clip, boosting my next mag's worth of merciless damage by a substantial amount.
I'm running field prep for the extra reserves when I swap to merciless. Lead from gold is fine, but I believe you need an extra reserve mod. Also, you'll be getting plenty of special ammo drops if you're getting striga kills.
It's quite a bit easier to do the mechanics phases on hunter because you can afford to use an eager sword and still do ridiculous damage. DPS is about the same difficulty on both classes, but I'd probably give the edge to hunter as well just based on how likely you are to blow yourself up on warlock. Overall, hunter is definitely easier in my opinion. The main benefit for running warlock is your dps potential with edge transit is much higher, so you have a bit of extra forgiveness baked in. Also, you can run felwinter's on warlock if you're willing to take a bit more risk and deal ~50% of his health in one phase, making a three phase very consistent.
@@valor3116 Nope, you really don't need anything specific in the second column for this, the damage threshold isn't tight enough to the point where first and second column perks matter that much. Just make sure you have envious and BnS and you should be fine.
@@valor3116 They aren't necessary, but they make the running experience a whole lot easier and less stressful because they give healing when you lose field of light or flux of darkness which happens every time you activate a node. I would definitely recommend grabbing a few pieces of RoN armor and the mod (release recover is the name of the mod).

Great run! Just wondering why you reload Merciless after 1 shot and don’t keep shooting? Is it due to an immune gap

The special brick at the end is a paid acyor
are you running field prep on the sniper? if so is it any better/worse than lead from gold?

easier overall on warlock or hunter?
I would say hunter
Hunter is 100% easier
How much easier is this than Hunter?
