His laugh after Max says “maybe you could learn to breathe through your nose” was absolutely identical to the movie. This is awesome.
Right? I get drunk and recreate (as best I can) his laugh on the regular, especially around Halloween. My lady laughs with, but I think she’s merely tolerating my existence at that point. His laugh, and any way I can squeeze in saying that I love something followed by “ …but what are you (what is it/who are they/ etc.) supposed to be? A new kid on the block? ah-HA-HAAAAA!”

I'd like to think that after Jay and "Ice" got out of those cages, they cleaned up their act. Maybe if they ever make a sequel, we'll see them working as police officers or something of that nature.
There is a sequel, Ernie (ICE) in the high school principal where Max and Allison's daughter, Poppy, goes to school.

It was actually Jay that became the principal and his daughter picked on Max and Allison’s daughter. I don’t remember Ernie being in the sequel. It’s been a while since I read it, though, so I could be wrong

This movie will live on forever. I watched it as a kid every halloween and now my 2 year old daughter is obsessed with it. I've seen it more times this year than I have my whole life but that's fine with me.
