Among the animals rescued, Precious was in the worst shape by far. Her coat was so badly matted that it formed thick, painful clumps of fur, pulling at her skin with every feeble movement. Her face was completely covered in dirty, grimy fur, leaving her unable to see or even breathe properly. She was hardly even recognizable as a dog.
