Been listening to the doobies for 50 years this song by far is a wonderful Christian song written by Tom Johnston the doobies don't claim they're Christian but the words to this song and old friend on the album are amazing you people can't see this I give up its rock-and-roll doobies enjoy it happy trails everybody

just when I felt down, confused with mixed messages in life, and the recent death of my dad, I listened to this song, raised my arms in the air, and allowed the good awesome light shine down on me, filling me with joy. I played it twice and felt an incredible peace, a peace that is hard to define. Music is an awesome remedy for lifes little struggles and this song was good medicine.

I have seen the Doobies 4 times mostly in the original line up at Broome County Arena. And once with Michael McDonald. But this song from later in their career is just mountain moving. Really great.
