Yet the fluke costs over twice as much.
People really gotta get off the fluke bandwagon. Shit costs way too much for what you're getting in relation to what competition is out there.
When I hear someone praising fluke above all else I immediately know they have superficial knowledge at best.

The Fluke is going to be more serviceable, since old parts are still in circulation. These meters are admired, generally don’t go in the trash, they get repaired, resold, and reused. Accuracy is important and brands that get close enough are pretty acceptable in most cases. There are many well built reliable test instruments that won’t blow up in your hand and are packed with features at a less expensive price. However known for its brand reputation, and good resale value reasons, some are stuck with Fluke forever.

I just picked up my ideal 61-347 for $35.
It's got significantly more features and a higher rating, and is more accurate (.05% margin of error < .1%) than a $230 fluke meter I had.
That means I could buy more than 6 of these for every fluke I bought and recieve more features and a better accuracy reading each time.
I'm also not sure what you mean by serviceability. All the chips/fuses/sistors on them are gonna be mass produced regardless of brand. Serviceability, at least from my perspective, is equivalent.
When electricians buy over priced tools like this, it isn't only hurting them. It's equivalent to the mechanic who spends absorbent amounts of cash on snap on tools and then overstates how much their "overhead" is and results in them charging the customer ALOT more.
Overall, if tradesmen were more responsible with the money they spent and didn't spend all this cash on brands like high school girls, the customer would get cheaper service. Most might not think this matters, but it does.

I looks like you found a pretty nice deal. I know someone who said, “I can’t show up on the jobsite with a Kobalt drill. Meanwhile I’m proudly (hehe) taking my Porter Cable drill set anywhere. They’re good enough for me and for what I put them through.
If you got it, then get what you want. I always look for a good deal.
