I thought B was better in every shot. From the first comparison I knew which phones were which letters. I'm usually an android fan, but I can't deny how accurate the iPhone X camera is
Sorry but there is no way B won for every shot, even if the iPhone is the better shooter over all, there were only 3 photos that B looked good, the rest lacked the depth, sharpness and the color C had. You need to download the full rez pictures to see why.
C was taking all the photos with warmer colours than the other two, and you know, it is and it will always be a Samsung taking warmer and over-saturated photos. My guess was right. C was the Samsung Note 8.
I have chosen "B"-5 times, "A"-4 times and "C" only once. I was surprised as I have Note 8 now, and my previous was IPhone 7 Plus. Note is deffenetly better 7 Plus when shooting photo and a little worse with video stabilization. Probably Apple really improves camera in IPhone X ...
At the first photo i immediately noticed the B is the iPhone, it has that signature of the balanced color, dynamic range and natural flash which they called it true tone. While the other two basically unrecognizable sometimes.
The trouble is, what people like the look of is not related to which one delivered the most accurate copy, only the person taking the pic knows which one was truly best.
I got 4 for the note 8 3 for the v30 and 3 for the Iphone X - I am getting a v30 however I was actually pleasantly surprised, considering it's not know for its auto shots, it held up well
By every photo I started to notice the phones. Over saturation first on leafs and kinda dark typical LG tint. Pretty sure I'm not normal. :D Is should go out and do something else than watching phone comparisons. I have S8 and still watching this stuff! Love it! LIKE!
I thought the V30 was the Note. I liked B the most, and A second and I was disappointed with the Note. Only in one image I liked it more than the others.
i loved this test. what i did for each picture was list it from best to worst B and C got the most "1st" at 4 each and A was only chosen twice as best picture. So because they were even (B and C) i looked at who i ranked most at 2nd place and C won. PLEASE do this more often!
I was a little surprised by the results. I kind of guessed the A was the LG from watching other comparisons, primarily due to the loss of some level of detail. Though I have to say I was surprised how much more natural and cooler the colors looked on the LG out of the box. I thought LG had bit the color popping HDR bullet already, but seems like they havnt yet got to the levels of others. The Note8 is just popping the colors too much and overall seems to try too hard with the auto mode and HDR. Overall, comparing out of the box auto mode pics, the iPhone takes it for me. I especially liked how it handled the sun peeking through thatch roof and the night portrait shot. Though for both I prefer the LG shot!! Overall, I think the underlying optics of the camera are good in all three. But the way the auto mode handles the shot for me, its iPhone>V30>Note 8. The way the color temp is handled in the LG V30 vs the other two is a matter of personal choice. I personally liked the cooler color temps of the V30. Where the V30 loses out is that it doesn't seem to capture as many details in the auto mode shot. Of course the review does fail to mention two advantages of the V30, first is the super easy to use full manual mode and second is the far more useful wide-angle second lens. That wide angle second lens is just something which is far more useful and versatile things to have.
LG v30 due to the fact in auto mode it dose not give of over saturated pictures and it uses natural light and more natural colors. IPhone and note 8 has a lot of camera app processing so photos don't look anything like they are in real life. LG dose a better job at that, only problem is the front facing camera.
B/C clearly dominate here but the photo's C (Note 8) take look a bit sharper/more crisp! Iphone x surprisingly won the night time shot by a mile! Hard to go wrong with either phone camera wise
I knew A was V30. I didn't expect that from the iPhone X though. It's price seriously made me underestimate the phone. Note 8 is good for me just because of it's S pen but I will choose V30 everyday as I like that wide-angle setup LG goes for. I choose 5 As, 3 Bs and 2 Cs. V30 has the original lighting in photos which made me love it's photos.
1 scene = C > B > A 2 scene = C > A > B 3 scene = B > C > A 4 scene = C > B > A 5 scene = B > A > C 6 scene = C > B > A 7 scene = C > A > B 8 scene = B > C > A 9 scene = A > C > B 10 scene = B > A > C Overall : C > B > A
Why was "A" even included? The photos are all washed out and lacking detail. Surely, there were better options out there. Perhaps a Mate 10 Pro or Sony phone?
In a camera, what I'm looking for is realism. I need photographs look as realistic as possible and in that aspect I prefer A (LG V30) where the photos are not treated. The iPhone photos have disappointed me. Look little real and very treated/retouched. C in second place.
I did the test WITHOUT knowing the letters and the phones. And here is (fair) my result: C (wins 5 times) A(3 times) B(2 times). Or by points ( Order the pics and give 3 points to best, 2 to next and one to last): C=23, A=19,B=18
It was very easy to tell which phones these photos are from from the style of the picture. IPX wins easily, never understand how LG can compete with apple or Samsung.
All were pretty good, I picked C for most of the photos. Which did turn out to be my phone, the Note8, but LG V30 was very good too. iPhone as usual was very mediocre except for a couple of shots.
1x A 6x B 3x C So... iPhone X won. I prefer Android. A lot of times it was hard to choose between B and C *edit*: after watching again, I think both take great pictures but i might prefer note 8
I was switching between B and C. I only liked one photo from phone A.
Me too. I chose A at 2:58
Didier me too
Haha
Same here but in the end b-4 and c-6
Same
I thought B was better in every shot. From the first comparison I knew which phones were which letters. I'm usually an android fan, but I can't deny how accurate the iPhone X camera is

Ok, I thought A was the note 8 but it wasn't, the photos I liked where shot from phone C
XeniX The Gamer ... I like c as well.
C was taking all the photos with warmer colours than the other two, and you know, it is and it will always be a Samsung taking warmer and over-saturated photos. My guess was right. C was the Samsung Note 8.
Urki ... the Note 8 have an internal cooling system.
yeah, that's why it takes 'cooler' photos than the iphone x. 😛
carver 9 nice joke
0:43
Oh i see, The blind test already started
A was shit though, B 85%, C 15%
100% agreed
A was actually taken with a ham sandwich
Photo with yellow leaves taken by iPhone X is sooo PERFECT 😳 Photos marked with "A"... no comments...
This proves that lg v30 takes natural shots.
Pulkit Jain Nobody knows what is the most natural colour
I can't lie the iPhone takes almost every one with the Note tying one and getting one
Great video, one of the best camera comparisons I have ever seen on here.
Note 8
Damn I picked the sheep phone for most of the images!
“A” was actually taken with a toaster
I was damn sure that A was LG V30. I thought B was note 8 but it was iPhone X. Apple iPhone X camera is 👌🏻👌🏻
Note 8. Easy choice the shots are just so crispy 👌
Frankie Mercado agree and dynamic range was the best
Great video mate
I like V30's pics more
B - 6 shots, C - 3 shots, and A - 1 shot. Awesome review!
you missed pixel 2 XL
Pixel 2 on 1st place, they compare this 3 phones for the 2nd place.
VERY Surprising results for this core android enthusiast.
Just tallied up my scores after taking the test twice & I'm speechless.
I'm an android junkie but shit, iPhone X took some stunning shots. I was expecting more from the V30 but it was the most disappointing out of the 3.
Hands down the iPhone. It had the most detail and the colors where warmer. Totally guessed it.👍
Though the Note 8 won in the poles.
Great review, I wish more were like this. Keep up the great work!
What were the results. Which one are A B and C.
Is a Huawei talkband b2 campactible for Samsung galaxyA5 2016
At the first photo i immediately noticed the B is the iPhone, it has that signature of the balanced color, dynamic range and natural flash which they called it true tone. While the other two basically unrecognizable sometimes.
Who else skipped the video to the end, only to see the results? 😜
This is in Automatic mode, how about doing it again in manual?
Oh and include Pixel 2
No low light shots?
V30 has natural light i see so i take LG :D
HAHAHAHHAH!!
I preferred C
C > B > A
The trouble is, what people like the look of is not related to which one delivered the most accurate copy, only the person taking the pic knows which one was truly best.
5 x B , 3 x C, 2 x A = iPhone X winner for me! Nice video! iPhone X space gray 256GB and loving it!! :)
I got 4 for the note 8 3 for the v30 and 3 for the Iphone X - I am getting a v30 however I was actually pleasantly surprised, considering it's not know for its auto shots, it held up well
Note 8 user here, but i would like to say that iPhone X has better photo output compare to the other two in this comparison.
Do this for more phones please!
LG V30 IS BEST.
By every photo I started to notice the phones. Over saturation first on leafs and kinda dark typical LG tint. Pretty sure I'm not normal. :D Is should go out and do something else than watching phone comparisons. I have S8 and still watching this stuff! Love it! LIKE!
Battle of 2 cameras 😎😎
B narrowly won for me
I liked the photos with the Note 8 most of the times and some iPhone X shots but did not like a single photo from the V30.
I thought the V30 was the Note. I liked B the most, and A second and I was disappointed with the Note. Only in one image I liked it more than the others.
A: killed it !! having an I phone X I would definitely go with LGV30 best than the rest!
i loved this test. what i did for each picture was list it from best to worst B and C got the most "1st" at 4 each and A was only chosen twice as best picture. So because they were even (B and C) i looked at who i ranked most at 2nd place and C won. PLEASE do this more often!
7 B and 3 C.
Good video! just make the shots onscreen longer next time i had to pause fast for every shot! interesting!
I was a little surprised by the results. I kind of guessed the A was the LG from watching other comparisons, primarily due to the loss of some level of detail. Though I have to say I was surprised how much more natural and cooler the colors looked on the LG out of the box. The yellow tint on all iPhone shots irritates me, pandering to preference over accuracy.
LG v30 due to the fact in auto mode it dose not give of over saturated pictures and it uses natural light and more natural colors. IPhone and note 8 has a lot of camera app processing so photos don't look anything like they are in real life. LG dose a better job at that, only problem is the front facing camera.
In most photos I like C(note 8) due to its proper exposure, nice saturation pleasing to eyes. Then comes B.
Good video but photos in A are not comparable with B and C, would be more exciting to replace it with Pixel 2.
B/C clearly dominate here but the photo's C (Note 8) take look a bit sharper/more crisp! Iphone x surprisingly won the night time shot by a mile! Hard to go wrong with either phone camera wise
I picked A and C the whole time except the Foliage shot. iphone always has an unnatural warm tone for some reason
I knew A was V30. I didn't expect that from the iPhone X though. It's price seriously made me underestimate the phone. Note 8 is good for me just because of it's S pen but I will choose V30 everyday as I like that wide-angle setup LG goes for.

Very good!! That's the way to go, I'll like to see OnePlus 5 T in that group. Please
1 scene = C > B > A
2 scene = C > A > B
3 scene = B > C > A
4 scene = C > B > A
5 scene = B > A > C
6 scene = C > B > A
7 scene = C > A > B
8 scene = B > C > A
9 scene = A > C > B
10 scene = B > A > C
Overall : C > B > A
1. B
2. C
3. A
Glad I got myself the iPhone X, because I take a lot of pictures :)
Maybe, too much debating about what is the best smartphone's camera. "_"
Where is the pixel 2
Why was "A" even included? The photos are all washed out and lacking detail. Surely, there were better options out there. Perhaps a Mate 10 Pro or Sony phone?
Nik Nik because its LG's flagship phone and they touted the camera capabilities so much they hired a filmguy to compare it with a $50k Red camera.
Almost all the time, C got thr colours right, and the sharpness was on point
Damn I didn’t expect the v30 to do so bad. I have an Ipx but in terms of androids I really like the v30. Too bad
Please add the Razer phone and pixel
In a camera, what I'm looking for is realism. I need photographs look as realistic as possible and in that aspect I prefer A (LG V30) where the photos are not treated. The iPhone photos have disappointed me. Look little real and very treated/retouched. C in second place.

in my recordings, A scored 3 points, B scored 3 points and c got 4 points. i have the lg v30 and im surprised that it drew with the iphone 10
Tie between A and C for me. Interesting that I found the Iphone X to be the worse of the three, as I generally really like apple's pictures.
I voted 6 for B and 4 for C...I thought A was the Note 8, and C was the V30...I was wrong. So I guess I enjoy the iPhone X camera more!
Wow i thought A was the iphone, those are some good shots from the v30
"A" was not in the competition... mostly I choose "B"... specially I liked that portrait in the dark... "C" was very good tho... I own a note 8.
I got A,b,c,b,c,b,c,c,a,b. Turns out the note 8 and the iPhone X were tied.... Glad I own an iPhone then :)
I was strongly liking B because of the contrast.
I'm holding a lg v30 and i loved b and c...damn it
For me it's B > C > A, well I didn't want Iphone X because it's overprice. But in my eyes, Iphone X win this comparison.
I was dead on the money with that order,Note 8 and V30 have the best cameras..#NothingIDidntKnowAlready Great video...
iPhone's are easy to tell. But I got the Note 8 and V30 wrong
Phone B, I own the V30 and never shoot auto. Manual is where V30 shines.
No..i did end up with note 8..but i like v30 the most
A tie b/w Note8 and iPhoneX...Lg V30 lacks exposure and sharpness
Note 8 baby....
Note 8 killed it, colors are so natural and true, not over saturated.
It was very easy to tell which phones these photos are from from the style of the picture. IPX wins easily, never understand how LG can compete with apple or Samsung.
1C 2A 3B 4C 5B 6A 7C 8B 9A, until there, was a triple tie. But in selfie, the B was better. Anyway, really close test.
All were pretty good, I picked C for most of the photos. Which did turn out to be my phone, the Note8, but LG V30 was very good too. iPhone as usual was very mediocre except for a couple of shots.
Unbelievably LG-V30 sensor have some issues. Note 8 was far better, true to life color and crisp details.
I guesses every phone right I chosen the lg v30 more realistic colors and iPhone close second
Pixel XL 2 camera should be in this. Apple has had the same camera since 6S. So it shouldn’t be here.
Note 8 was the one I was going to buy (so I'll call it my favorite) and it won
Watching video on the winner, Note 8
I don't understand why v30 take pictures more dark if it have 1.6 lents
My results B(6) A(3) C(1).... Iphone > LG V30 > Note 8
1x A
6x B
3x C
So... iPhone X won. I prefer Android. A lot of times it was hard to choose between B and C
*edit*: after watching again, I think both take great pictures but i might prefer note 8
A is just too dark, B is fairly accurate, and C is super saturated.
Yes I was right!!! Iphone x is the winner for me
Lg only shines when you use manual mode...
Iphone always looks good on auto mode..
iPhone X for colour reproduction and Selfie
Note8 for clarity and exposure
Overall Note8 > iPhone X
i was surprised by the galaxy note 8 front facing selfie, it was bad
0:02 Well...... Pixel 2 XL ain't there... So............... You won't find out.
I thought they could be shuffling the order of the phones because I chose B and C alternatively in the following order: B-C-B-C-B-B-C-B-C-B
uTubed007 same
I was like b and c and then A for the last photo.
5 shots for iPhone, 4 for V30 and once for Note
4 of them were iPhone x, then v30 and note 8 were ties.
