the fact that this mod is FREE puts even the paid mods to shame. amazing work.
😏Funny enough, there are a few FREE cars that put a lot of the paid Mesh-Slaps to shame.
i mean, if you *care* about detail and don't wanna spend money on BS...
look- meshslaps suck, dude. that's not saying hard work wasn't put in. i'm saying they aren't of good quality if you *care* about the car behaving realistically or stably.
@@skinnyjeanis7177 There are probably a small handful of Mesh-slaps that have had a decent amount of work put into them, but all the mesh-slaps I've ever seen or came across are all generally garbage pumped out to make a quick buck.

Hirochi CFF - The mod that killed the BeamNG servers xD
It seems like too many people tried to download this mod at once, leading to the servers crashing. The issue will surely be fixed soon; be patient!
I tried getting a different mod called "Wink Headlights" and I couldn't subscribe for it! It doesn't have anything to do with this mod though.
You can change the number after the part of the link called cdn to 6. Or, if the speed is too pittle for you, try the google drive link on the first page of the discussion tab.
It’s not very often that the d game gets crashed by a wave of mod downloads.
Imagine being a developer at BeamNG and seeing that the servers are down because of thousands of simultaneous mod downloads 😂

I’ve checked out the Procyon Centauri and it’s the best mod I’ve ever seen!
The Centauri is a large, full-size modern SUV with a comparable level of diversity as this mod. This one however, really gives me the same sort of vibes as the Procyon Centauri did.
The Procyon Centauri was made by Finn Wilkinson, he also worked on this mod :)
i love them both, i mean i think that Centauri is first maybe only vehicle with start/stop 💓. and have so mutch details and functions 💓 best comunity
i loved procyon centauri for so mutch stuff too. i mean a lot of people dont even know about stop start, about dashboard info like check tires or close roof window at high speeds and a lot more. it has so mutch functions too and im stunned that these two mods are free. Love it

The mod creator is very generous for making it free as it could easily be a paid
i'm a little surprised it *is* free- Theo (the creator) got the everloving crap pestered out of him with constant "when release?" or "is it done yet?" and I honestly felt kind of bad for him up until the car finally got released.

As the owner of an ND1 Miata, this mod makes me so happy

I Like the fact that there will be an expansion to Procyon a fictional car company that apparently likes to name their cars after stars either way this is a one 1000000 out of 10 mod and found in the repository :D.

i have tried this mod yesterday (when the server still having trouble loading, idk how i can still download it even when the site turning potato) and it actually pretty good and the level of detail is amazing it even exceeded the dev own creation
i found this mod a month ago and just being amazed for DAYS, the features were just infinite it seemed like just being as good as the official cars felt insane and it got better and better

I think it's the best car in Beamng but more engine options would be nice. Everything else is perfect on this car.

BeamNG need to hire this talent!
Honestly my only beef is the steering and suspension. I play on wheel, and the suspension feels really floaty, and you can't remove powered steering for a better road feel. Fantastic mod overall
I don't play BeamNG but it's a beautiful car; I love the MX-5 so this is a very nice reinterpretation

The one bug I noticed that makes me laugh is that sometimes when it crashes or brakes by itself, it starts reversing full throttle on its own 😂

I think this mod is perfect for realistic driving in beamng why? So the feature are INSANE the parking sensors the emergency brake and much more makes it perfect for realistic driving so much

GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1660 Super (my 2060 broke down so I’m using this one for now, it works fairly fine)
64 GB of RAM
Motherboard: ASUS ROG STRIX B550-A GAMING
OS: Windows 11
This mod is free, and other worst mods are several dollars. Mods should be free(at least during the time that the game is in development), and modders should have a Patreon or something if you want to help them. A mod isn't a DLC. I really glad that this modder has given his time to offer something like this to the community, and I think anyone feels the same.
I agree to a certain degree:
Bad mods shouldn’t costs several dollars, but mods of this quality take hundreds, maybe even thousands of hours to make. I feel like the author(s) should be allowed to charge small amounts of money, just like LucasBE handles it :)
There would be an incredible number of high quality mods for beamng,
And do not forget meshsplash modders that try their best getting insulted instead of getting help and you understand why there are so few of them. No updated guide on how to properly import a car...
They should be free but if the creators want to, they just leave a donation link just like this guy did, so those who can, can give the creator money, people that paywall mods are basically gonna ruin the community, because I don't think everyone wants to spend more than what the game is worth just to have fun with it once you get bored

2:55 i noticed the lighting on the ground moves in a way like its using flip up headlights, but im not seeing any flip up headlights on the car when the headlights come one.
If the devs don't scalp their fans for new content, then why should mod creators? 90% of paid mods have maybe 5% the attention to detail that dev cars have... Let alone mods with THIS much quality.. I love it..
This mod maker needs HIRED RIGHT NOW. Not only is he overqualified for the job with these cars as his resume, he's also morally ethical and not trying to charge money for one of the most worth-while mods BeamNG ever got. Or legally wise and not trying to get sued by Mazda for charging money for a knockoff MX-5. Either way, hire this man right now

The design of the CCF looks unironically better than most modern-day irl cars…
The only thing that disappoints me in this mod is lagging sound when you rev it in neutral gear, although that might be due to poor PC performance. Other than that, this car is awesome in every aspect!
Unfortunately it is NOT dev quality, because you cannot adjust toe-in or toe-out on the rear suspension, resulting in very poor handling (the rear-end is not planted). It is a real pity, because otherwise it is an extremely impressive work, which in many ways goes beyond vanilla cars.
For me it is beamng's answer/solution for mazda miasta mx-5 (2017)

This mod is legit better than that one modder who made their mods paid and released demos instead
I would argue that LucasBE‘s (recent) mods are on the same level as this one.
While I totally understand that most people rather want to download free mods instead of paid ones, you have to keep in mind that mods of this quality take hundreds maybe even thousands of hours to make: It’s the author‘s decision whether they want to release it for free or not. We were blessed with the CCF, but *we cannot expect all mods of this quality to be free* :)
@@SkyFall4839 I understand that the mods that Lucas made where demos, and therefore i expected a bit of a lower quality. However they where just outright average, Which leads me to believe that the paid version is most likely slightly better. And for a paid mod i expect it to be as high quality as the free CCF mod
@@SkyFall4839 Also keep in mind that i do not hate Lucas its more i dislike the quality of the mods in comparison to the CCF mod
the devs got some recipe to get from
The major flaw with this mod, like many decent mods, is the force feedback.
The feedback barely functions, the wheel does self center, but there's none of the fine detail that you get from vanilla cars, and as a result actually racing it is very difficult on the limit when driving with a force feedback wheel. The result is it's not very predictable with the lack of feedback, and it's also seemingly missing brake bias tuning on top of the bad feedback, which is a real shame since that makes it borderline impossible to actually tune well, since you essentially can't trail brake without locking up the fronts.
After messing with the track setup for a while, I was able to find an okay solution with the brakes, if you swap the front rotors for the less powerful ones you can get the car to brake more neutrally, but you still can't fine tune it at all, which means there's ultimately nothing you can do past that point to make it brake better which significantly limits the car.
For keyboard and controller drivers of course the car will feel decent and handle rather safely on the limit, but man is it ever a disappointment on wheel.
My hope is that the mod continues to get updates and eventually we get some better feedback and proper control over the brake bias.
Force Feedback might not be on dev-quality, but on my wheel the CCF still feels great, a lot better than pretty much every other mod.

The ccf is beyond dev quality, it’s sooo much more detailed than the BX200 for example, honestly amazing. Devs should look into making mod cars into the game with some kind of partner program.
I agree, but I think it’s unfair to compare a newly released mod with a vanilla vehicle that hasn’t been updated in years.
@@SkyFall4839 yeah but the point is that the devs should hire modders like this guy to remaster all their cars(bx200, miramar, etc), I feel like the ccf can be compared to some recently remastered cars too, it has a manual roof and windows like it’s amazing
