Star Trek: First Contact (1996) - Live Keyboard Cover - Yamaha DGX 650

From the movie: Star Trek - First Contact. Here's some fun on the Yamaha DGX-650. This is one of the very few keyboards/digital pianos on the market at any price with seamless voice and layer switching, which is very impressive for a relatively low-cost instrument.
I've been very discouraged with some of the choices Yamaha has made regarding quality and timbre of keyboard and digital piano strings over the years. The two critical points are that you must be able to add or remove a string/instrument layer without any audio disruption to what you're playing, even when the sustain or sostenuto pedal is down. Secondly, strings should decay as quickly as piano, but only hold indefinitely with a sostenuto pedal.
