We've been going to Marmaris for the last 7 years and love the place. We took a trip to PDC in Lanzarote in April and the difference was incredible. There's nobody trying to get you into their bars, restaurants etc. All that said, we'll be back to Marm in September

Great vlog. Good to see Discovery 2 ship in the harbour. We are going to be travelling on this ship in a month’s time “Ottoman Odyssey”. Starts in Marmaris and then goes to Istanbul, Bodrum, Bozcada, Heraklion, Rhodes town.

Love your content guys thanks. I’m going to Marmaris in August. Would you recommend taking lira, GBP or a mixture of both?
@@daviddaniel2133 we only ever take GBP, we change it's as we need in the local supermarkets. They give the best rate as you get that days bank rate. For example when we were in the UK Hayes travel were giving 35tl to the pound yet when we were in Turkey the rate was 40/41tl! That makes a massive difference when you are changing money. We always just change our money daily for what we need for food and drink. If we are buying clothes though we either buy on a Monzo card or in pounds

Good wee tip. Go to the boats early morning you often get a cheaper deal on the day if they are short on numbers. Great upload again guys thanks. Marina has nice bars and they are cheaper than the so called fun pubs. Look forward to the next upload

@paulmooney3355 if your hotel is on main marmeris to icmiler road there is the always bar has bit of entertainment two mins to beach you will see batman bar tiger tiger has bit entertainment, few mins towards marmeris there is a few football bars ,rangers ,Liverpool ,man utd.but the cheaper bars are right around the side at the harbour .go in the ones with the prices outside you can pay alot more in other ones,have a nice time ,we're back in October
@@paulmooney3355 we would recommend, Piccadilly in Marmaris itself it faces blue bay platinum. Then in Armutalan there is new York bar which was lovely and responsibly priced. There is lots of fab looking bars and restaurants in the marina, we ate in Jan de wit which had beautiful food and even nicer views.
Certainly no shortage of dining options. Loved the1st and 2nd vlogs. Travel days are difficult and extreme hot is always too hot, no matter how nice the area is. Loved the drinking excess, that's why we vacation! Question: Are your Fenty sunglasses the real deal? PS Loved seeing you walk your dog.
Yes there are some beautiful restaurants and bars to choose from in the marina, it's a beautiful part of the world which we love. I wish I could say they were the real deal, however they were a Turkish purchase last summer. They are so comfortable though I love them 😄😄 thanks for watching along with our trip we really appreciate it 😍😍

Going to marmaris end of September, my rule of thumb wherever I go in Europe is NEVER eat or drink close to any harbour, absolutely rip off. Basically you are paying for the privilege of the view. I'll be staying in club alpina , I'll eat in the armutalan area half the price of what your video shows then venture down to the harbour after. Unfortunately you only make money from you tube by showing the tourist area not like myself a solo traveller that likes to eat and drink well away from the rip off establishments. I have eaten and drunk where the locals eat. I've travelled the world for 48 years ( without a video). But hey whatever rocks your boat to make money
@@stevexn such a shame you don't visit the harbour in Marmaris as it's such a beautiful place with some really nice restaurants and bars. And a lot of these bars and restaurants are actually cheaper than Armutalan. We have a lot of videos on our channel which shows we've ate and drank all over Marmaris. We include pictures of menus and our bills so you can see exactly what we pay for our meals.
@@HangoversHandpays I've been to the harbour many times mate, I'll be in marmaris for 2 nights then staying in fetheye for 7 nights, I've been travelling to Turkey on and off for 20 years. I don't need to make a video I've enough money

We now live in Bulgaria and a few Years ago we drove down to Marmaris for a couple of weeks holiday..... talk about HOT we thought Bulgaria was hot... but Turkey has Bulgaria beat.
when we were there by the Ataturk statue, they were trying to get us to go on a Day trip aound the bay with Lunch included for 5 pounds, but they were jamming the people on the boat like sardines, so we didnt go... But... like you.. we walked along the jetty and my husband was asking different captains how much to charter their boat for a Day.
Some Captains were a little pricey.. but eventually we found a beatiful Turkish style boat and the Captain said 40 pounds for a whole Day, my husband asked if that included Lunch
which it did... and we had a wonderful time just the 2 of us and the captain....
Aww thanks so much for watching ❤️ Marmaris is definitely hotter than Bulgaria I went to Bulgaria a few years ago (Sunny Beach) it's beautiful there too. The boats at the marina are definitely the cheapest to book from there.
