Thank you to all the men and women who open their hearts to kids who need that parent in their lives. It is not an easy job to take on. I'm glad that this song was personal to you and gave you a different perspective.
This song also reminds me of my step-dad. So cool that yours called you right before this song! Songs like this are why I love Country music because which other genre would have a song honoring step-fathers?
Shes everything, waiting on a woman, and letter to me by Brad Paisley are all great songs Also check out humble and kind by Tim McGraw. It's one of my all time favorites
Brad is a pretty good guitarist. You should give a listen to more of his songs. He likes to add a little comedy to some of his songs also. Nice reaction.
I loved your reaction..you have the most beautiful eyes ..windows to the soul..great to see a real human being..beautiful song...have you reacted the "JAMES BLUNT >>MONSTERS yet?
Other great Country songs are Alyssa Lies by Jason Michael Carroll, All These Years by Sawyer Brown, Not That Different by Collin Raye, Till I Was A Daddy Too by Tracy Lawrence, Remember When by Alan Jackson, You’re Gonna Miss This by Trace Adkins, Just A Dream by Carrie Underwood, Don’t Take The Girl by Tim McGraw, Matches by Sammy Kershaw, I’m Not Strong Enough To Say No by Blackhawk, If I Had Any Pride Left at All by John Berry, I’m Not Supposed To Love You Anymore by Bryan White, and I Still Believe In You by Vince Gill.
Stepparents are amazing people for a multitude of reasons. I got my mom and my dad, but I’d of been a hot mess without both. Dad kinda sucked, but he was there.
this was one of my step dads and my song i meet my step dad when i was 2 my real dad wanted nothing to do with my sister and me he said he could not deal with a child with special needs meaning me cause i have seizure but the way i figure my step dad stepped in when my real dad stepped out
I'm genuinely glad you were able to get a step-dad. Nobody really realizes just how many people will run away when they find out you're epileptic and your seizures are uncontrolled, can happen at any time and you basically have a time bomb in your brain that can go off at any point. The fact your mom was able to find a person that was not just willing to help raise another man's kids, but also didnt run away when he found out about your seizures is absolutely amazing. I wish there were more people like him. 😊🙏🌹🌹💞🙂
