Is the Sony LYT-900 sensor better than the Sony IMX 989 ?

Does iphone also uses sony camera sensors? Also i want to know if the camera sensor is more advance than the iphones does that means it can capture better pictures than iPhone irrespective of the phone brand ? Since i want to buy a good Android phone which can capture better pictures than latest iphones.

Yes, iPhones do use Sony sensors, for an example all the camera sensors on the iPhone 13 Pro Max are from Sony. The main 12MP primary camera has Sony IMX703 sensor and Sony IMX713 for the telephoto lens, it's not just about sensors it's about how your software process it, in specific still photos Google pixel smartphones are the best, but in videos the iPhones are better, earlier before the arriving of pixel smartphones, iPhones were leading, but now pixel has an edge in photos atleast I would say

Samsung Galaxy M51 uses Sony IMX 682, Samsung Galaxy S21 FE Snapdragon 888 version uses the Sony IMX555 sensor and many other phones have used Sony sensors, but it is also true that Samsung also uses their own ISOCELL sensors..
