Great podcast as always lads 👍and good to see Dan back but 1 question, is the great Wilko penned in yet as well ?? COYH!! we are the famous Luton town!!
Happy about the result. Still pretty annoyed at Rob and his lack of tactical changes. It just seems he is too worried to make changes. Millwall made 4 changes, before we brought on our first 2 and yes, Pelly made an error for the goal. But the lads were running on empty and Millwall were getting closer and closer to scoring, without really carrying a threat for most of the game. I have no idea what Taylor needs to do to get some game time. If you have 2 strikers who are firing blanks, then you make changes. Chong was vastly improved this game - it's amazing what you do when you look up. McGuiness continues to impress and Walsh was like a dynamo in the middle and I loved how he niggled at their players. We created a lot but didn't take full advantage and right now that's where the risk is. But the passion is back. On to the next game.
Haha, yeah. Gotta move it into the 21st century though, so maybe one hi-tech one that does a slow lap around the pitch so it's pot luck if you can see the goal or not?
God that was needed. Felt like a typical pre PREM performance and we ground at a solid win at a tough place to go. Clarke needs a rest and playing him in at number 10 didnt work, he doesnt have the pace. Walsh once fit (which he isnt yet) will be a great asset when we need to keep the ball. But best of all is they all pulled together as a team and worked bloody hard.
I think the main criticism I've seen is the lack of consistent, functional execution to warrant the effort of playing out the back, and I think that anxiety comes from bad experiences of last year. You acknowledge there'v been errors knowing when to abort it; some feel it occurs too often and we're well past balancing risk with reward. Clearances don't always hand the ball to the opposition. Some are concerned the front finishing situation now needs to be well in order. Also, according to my observations a lot of these 'happy clapper' labels tend to occur in response to supporters amplifying constructive criticism and objective analysis into something inflammatory, with no coherent opposing viewpoint other than 'trust the process' or some other mantra; it relates more to how they treat opposing viewpoints, than their overall level of support to the club. So far this year it's been easier to have an adult discussion without being shamed and lumped in with legit trolls, as long as you caveat you support the club in general.
I almost feel this season started too early for Luton. Are they totally 100% fit. The Championship is a tough, hard long slog of a league and every team can murder you if you are not sharp. I think Edwards still hasn't found his utopic starting 11, a few more games to cement this Luton team this season.
The Pelly haters will go on that loose pass but walshy lost the ball 3 times in our own half. No one says anything about that. Only 4 gzmes to the international break with Watford the big 1st game afterwards.
Agreed. The pass wasn't very good. But Walsh didn't do much to receive it, while the opposition player put in a lot of effort to intercept the ball. To pick on Pelly when the whole team's performance only had 69% pass completion rate is really unfair.
Good intelligent commentary
another great show lads
Another great podcasts & thank you for the shout out, even through I didn't select the correct score. 💪❤️💪
We've changed it this season. One point for the correct result and three for the correct score.

We'll have to locate him a hat-trick ball.

Pelly made an error for the goal? Really??
Only 69% pass completion rate. It's simply not good enough. This lack of control is what Rob isn't happy about and I am completely with him.
A great podcast cast Let's we win 21 against sheffield
Marv is Luton’s Kante. Walsh looks tasty. Defence seems sorted. Midfield is strong. Just need to get the shooting boots on yo front
New stadium needs a few pillars blocking the view for that Kenilworth Road feel.

Team doesn’t look really fit and sharp. C’mon Rob. Step it up. Get the boys fit!

Walsh looks the business.

Where can I get a luton jersey in India 🇮🇳
Order it online via the club shop. I'm sure they do international delivery

Fitness is an issue.
I saw burkey blowing like popeye after 70mins. He looked knackered.
TBF he's hardly had much game time - but wasnt he a rock at the back - him and teden on the team sheet first all day long
@TerryJC1971 yes he played immense
Please STOP trying to play out from the back. It's horrible to watch, we are NOT Man City. A great win but a horrible watch
