So how long before you get your money back?

Behfor, I've got a networking question for you. My family has recently moved to a new location, and the discussion has shifted to Internet access for wired devices. I have access to boxes of new CAT5E cable... free of charge, along with jacks, or I can purchase CAT6 cable at personal expense, and the equivalent jacks.
The wired devices consist of network printers, computers, and a NAS (primarily used for file storage). No IoS or VoIP devices at this time.
My question is which way to go CAT5E or CAT6? Are we going to see much of a difference in speed? No serious gamers or FPGing going on.
I welcome your thoughts & advice. I enjoy your channel, as well as your sense of humor! :) As always, thanks.

IMO For a regular use 5e is more than sufficient. Besides cat6 is backward compatible if you later decide to use it for some devices. Disclaimer: I'm not behfor but decided to share my thoughts if they help :)

Hi, That depends! For example this is how I look at it in different scenarios:
      - Scenario1: If my wired network devices can do maximum 1 Gbps
then I should be fine (for now) with the CAT5e because it can also do maximum 1Gbps. Besides this option is free!
      - Scenario 2: If one or more of my wired network devices is/are faster than 1 Gbps, then I don't want to make a bottleneck in my network and would look into CAT6, CAT6a or even CAT7.
-Scenario 3: If my wired network devices can do maximum 1 Gbps but I want to make my wired network future proof, then would look into CAT6, CAT6a or even CAT7.
      But that's just me :-)
      Hope that helps and thanks!

Did you purchase a 3 year type 1 license as well?

Correct me if I'm wrong, so you paid 85+299 for 3 years (hopefully device lasts longer than that) and then you'll earn probably 14c a day. with my calculation you paid 35c a day and with earning 14c a day I think your ROI (return of investment) is way off, given you actually earn 14 cent out of it a day. Also I think a device that can measures Co2 and particles which also includes temp and humidity can be purchased for less than $30

Well, you need to reconsider your calculations because 23 planets x 14c = $3.22 a day (assuming I receive maximum daily rewards and the price of 1 planet is 14c). FYI the price of each planet was around 30c before the recent market crash. Long story short my device has already paid for itself. But as I said in the video anytime soon the rewards will start to decrease because the recycle bin will be zero. I highly recommend to read their white paper which has all the information. Link is in the video description. [Disclaimer: This is for informational purposes only and is not a financial advice]
