Shinedown has been around for 20 years... they have so many great songs... Sound Of Madness, Crow and The Butterfly, 45, Second Chance... for starters. I've shot photos of Shinedown (4times) at their shows and met them.. super nice guys. I highly recommend seeing them if you can!!
My favorite band of all time. They dont have bad songs. And they are the hardest working band ever! If you can see them live...DO IT! If you can believe it, Brent sounds even better live.

I've seen shinedown live 4 times and i cant wait to see them again they are absolutely amazing, if you get the chance to see them live i highly recommend
i just discovered Shinedown, not sure how i never heard about them before, but I'm loving it. This is my favorite other than their song Enemies. React to Enemies or Save Me. Both are incredible

Their song Get Up was written by singer Brent Smith about bassist Eric Bass, who battles depression. . Zach Myers is the guitarist and Barry Kerch on drums.
Brent's addictions will stay with him for the rest of his life those are his monsters they want him to do drugs & drink everyday but he doesn't. He was a coke and heroine addict which was oxytocin. Then he got off the drugs when his son was born. He then turned into a alcoholic then got sober but has fallen off the wagon at times.
this lyrics remind me so much of my girl who just died, she had an ex fiance who havily abused her every day for years but yet never finished off, than just left her with nothing, yet came every to get her groceries after she had to sell her car, yet leaving her as an emotional mess and even physical sick for 2-10 days everytime he came, he kept her alive while while slowly killing her and now when she finally got out of it.... so her monsters were very real. I also have experience with my inner demons gladly I learned how to never loose control, but Interestingly I was only thinking about her during this song...
@@mojtabaamuzegar7190 and I'm sorry for that... she was such a great person, I'd be lying saying I'm alright and not dying insideevery morning just wanting to go back to sleep, back into my dreams where she's still alive but it literally feels like there's a part of her in me, that some of her goodness took the place of some of my darkness, that happened the second she died, even before I knew she was deadand I'm thankful for the time we had, she was far from being free from all her traumas she even had before him but she was doin' much better than when we met and there wasn't a thing we didn't had talked other, so I'm like halfway in peace with it, it's just so sad, no it's more than sad, it's tragic! PS: just NEVER forget to let the people you love know what they mean to you, even when it's not easy, you never know if you'll get another chance! Im so glad I was able to fully open up to her but there are people, family members that I love but somehow I'm often refusing to say it, but I'm working on that
@@maxschmidt9461 unfortunately, I live in a part of the world where loosing somebody you love is so easy. I've learned that the shortest distance in the world is the distance between "is" and "was". So, I deeply believe in what you say. As a father, my heart is with you
