Liu Yuning is, in my opinion, is a handsome man and good talent. The people are cruel to critize him and frankly he is poplar who can sing lyrics to series which is more than I can say for any other actor. He has a great voice to listen to. I don't want to put down the actors/actresses singing the drama's 0st but when I first started watching cdramas, I didn't understand why they used them because most of them don't have good vocals. I can't agree Liu Ning is handsome in conventional sense, but I don't think he deserves to be called ugly either. He fitted his role in "Journey to love" much better than Leo Wu fitted his role in "The long ballad". Leo totally ruined his character according to me (as did Dilraba hers). Liu Shi Shi is very pretty and to me first seemed to be a little bit odd to be paired with Liu Ning, but frankly I thought they fitted very well together and Liu Ning's singing voice is very difficult to match. (Liu Shi Shi's real life husband is not what I would call handsome either.)
I think the more haters criticize him, the more the rest of the world will know about his talent and passion. How could we not cheer for the underdog, who was very poor and disadvantaged but climbed his way out of poverty into his career as a talented singer and actor.

I applaud people who are undeterred by anything and anyone. I thank Yuning's persistence. Had he given up on music, I wouldn't have had the chance to appreciate such a unique and charming voice. He didn't have proper training as an actor, yet he's doing everything he can to be validated. Truth be told, it breaks my heart when he says he isn't good enough..because he is. I’m American and grew up poor not long ago this year I found myself homeless for 6 months. I haven’t been homeless since I was a young child. There’s days I go without food and then two years ago I lost My Ma and my uborn baby and nine other love ones. So my heart ❤ goes out to him and I will continue to be a fan. Like him I have a dream to be a singer and didn’t have vocal training until high school. My Ma side is heavily talented in music. I’m 34 and dreams of becoming a singer and will achieve that. What is amazing are his convictions and inner strength facing adversity. I really admire his courage, perseverance and hard work. He is a very intelligent person that understands what he has to do to overcome his struggles and achieve his goals. What is so endearing is his coolness in facing all these challenges of life with a positive attitude. He has so much talent, his natural deep potent range of voice is what captivates once you hear him talk. His humility is very endearing and makes him one of us, relatable to the unknown public. He is an attractive man but what really shines is his kind soul and that makes him more attractive. Finally, his acting is good for someone that had never had formal training, he is a natural, but he knows he has to improve, to archive his goal and succeed in this new venture. He did a great performance in Heroes, was very impressive as Bai ChouFei and later as Mingxi in Legend of Anle. As Hei in Ultimate Note, he did well and was convincing as a conniving street character with great sense of humor. He will shine in all his ventures as a model, actor and naturally as a gifted singer.

Liu Yuning is, in my opinion, is a handsome man and good talent. The people are cruel to critize him and frankly he is poplar who can sing lyrics to series which is more than I can say for any other actor. He has a great voice to listen to. He fitted his role in "Journey to love" much better than Leo Wu fitted his role in "The long ballad". Leo totally ruined his character according to me (as did Dilraba hers).
Liu Shi Shi is very pretty and to me first seemed to be a little bit odd to be paired with Liu Ning, but frankly I thought they fitted very well together and Liu Ning's singing voice is very difficult to match.

What is amazing are his convictions and inner strength facing adversity. I really admire his courage, perseverance and hard work. He is a very intelligent person that understands what he has to do to overcome his struggles and achieve his goals. What is so endearing is his coolness in facing all these challenges of life with a positive attitude. He has so much talent, his natural deep potent range of voice is what captivates once you hear him talk. His humility is very endearing and makes him one of us, relatable to the unknown public. He is an attractive man but what really shines is his kind soul and that makes him more attractive. Finally, his acting is good for someone that had never had formal training, he is a natural, but he knows he has to improve, to archive his goal and succeed in this new venture. He did a great performance in Heroes, was very impressive as Bai ChouFei and later as Mingxi in Legend of Anle. As Hei in Ultimate Note, he did well and was convincing as a conniving street character with great sense of humor. He will shine in all his ventures as a model, actor and naturally as a gifted singer.

I think his strongest talent is his singing voice which can really encapsulate all the emotions and key scenes of a drama. When one listens to his songs, one gets transported to the world he is singing about! 😅He is trying very hard on acting and I am happy he is getting these main roles. People should be happy for him and cheer him on for persevering despite all the odds stacked against him. This is why i feel that the value system and ethics of the younger generation in this age have become flawed & superficial. Yes Liu Yuning is not the typical Chinese drama male lead with superior eye-candy, swoon-worthy looks. He is just an ordinary, pleasant looking guy. However his current lead role is not about looks...so netizens in China need to chill.

I was surprised to hear that he had no formal drama training until recently. I have always considered him a competent actor. Who knows how high he can climb, with the additional training he is taking. As for looks...he has a very nice profile.
