Kinda a shame. I prefer using it over the kugelblitz. Much easier to aim for me and does more reliable damage on a hit. Then of course you have to trade out the effectiveness against ground units as it got like half the pen. Wish it would get back the HVAP shells it originally had.
Actually, a lot of people have them, i would say at least 10% of players, it's just that they don't use it much. I have all 4 vehicles that got removed and I don't touch them in like 3 months, except the maus and the tiger II 105mm, that i use a little bit more, so all that together make them be really rare.

Whenever I spawn a fighter or bomber there is always three to six enemy aircraft waiting to ambush me. When I spawn AAA there is almost always not a single aircraft in the sky but always some spawn camping a**hole who somehow gets by the entire fricken team.
Yea I feel you. Though it feels nice to be in a falcon. Planes or none up, you still shred both tanks and planes. M247 is up there too. Can kill russian mbts frontally magically lol. The ZA-35(gepard on wheels) is also very fun. Flank thin armored tanks all day

Hey Phly, Uncle Tom rockets got a HUGE buff a couple days ago, their explosive mass was increased by 5x and now they're pretty much 500lb bombs that're stupidly easy to guide and can be launched from a huge distance. The mosquito mk VI at 3.7 carries them and they're absolutely op, they overpressure tigers like it's nobody's business. You should definitely check them out.
there used to be a reason to use the Coelian over the Kugel, and that was the Kugel had shite turret traverse...when that got buffed, if you factor-in the better penetration for the Kugel over the Coelian, it was a no-brain decision to take the Kugel out. Kugel is more versatile in that regard (plus they both were 6.7). Of course, if you are running a 6.3 lineup, by all means take the Coelian.
The 341/Coelian was somewhat real, there was a mockup of the turret on a real panther chassis, the weapon system, basically a twin flak43 also existed. The project was eventually shelved, after it was found that a twin 37 was found too weak of an armamant for a panther chassis since the ostwind II alread was capable to fit twin 37s. Therefore a 55mm version was planned, I think it was called Gerät 58

To be fair, the ZSU might be amazing for tank destroying but its completely hit or miss for destroying air targets. Either you get the hang of the ballistics and annihilate anything that dares enter your no-fly-zone or miss everything and get obliterated by anything because of the gigantic open top and very badly protected ammo storages. Also dont forget that even fifty cals are fully capable of killing it from the front. It might LOOK like a T54 chassis but the actual armour is around the level of a 2-3.0 BR light tank, even at the UFP.

I still don't really get their reasoning of removing the Panther II and Flakpanzer 141...like ok the King Tiger 105 was reasonable since they said in the beginning that was a place holder, and well despite frustrations with the Maus it was too a bit reasonable since all the Maus faced was Cold-War/Modern vehicles with 900mm rockets that can snipe you all the way across the map with ease. But that Panther II and Flakpanzer 141 were fine where they were? I know some goofs said "well because they're paper tanks! The game needs to be realistic!" But it's like well...look at the Russian Research tree...USA, France, some of those vehicles were also Paper tanks yet they're still in the game. Like idk, why not move the Panther II were the M48 is? It really didn't make any sense. I really don't get why they want to turn War Thunder into a Simulation like Hell let loose etc. It's a game, like yes, you want to have realism but I find it hilarious that they remove certain paper tanks from the tree yet it's been how many years now and you can still shoot straight through buildings and solid walls on certain maps like they don't even exist lol. That one desert map "American Desert" as a prime example of all of that "cover" in the north being able to shoot through it lol. Still I was lucky enough to have the King Tiger 105, Panther II, Flakpanzer 141 and the Mighty Maus but still I always found with the Flakpanzer and Panther II removal a bit stupid to be honest. It just sucks for people who join fresh that they can't experience the fun like Tiger 105, Flakpanzer 141, Panther II and Maus. >.>
tbh, this is the best AA in 6.3 due to it's armour. it can't be killed by overpressure like Ostwind and Whirlbel. It's smoke-flash is still a problem. but it's alot better compared to the abysmal Ostwind 2.
If only DICE had used this AA instead of the wirbelwind, because this would’ve also been stupid OP in default low tier set up already before ranking into the broken class. Especially when fighting against tanks or destroying houses in seconds

Brain cell donation: the Coelian has a higher BR than the Ostwind 2 because it has a considerably faster turret traverse and elevation/depression speed, in addition to the other things you named(crew not exposed, better hull protection.) It's better than the Ostwind 2 in every way when it comes to countering aircraft, because it can't be strafed without really strong cannons. Against tanks...ehh...not necessarily better or worse, but it can still do some work.
PE-8 is just like impending doom if you dont have any fighters up ive had one game where after we cleared alpha of the enemy i saw in the distance 2 PE-8s and a bunch of fighter s including La-9s and Yaks that was the scariest moment of my life
The Flakpanzer 341 didn't exist as a complete vehicle, only a wooden mock-up of the turret was created. However, the Ostwind Ⅱ is completely fictional. It never existed, only the Ostwind does.
