@@pasquinilliI'm not interested in fighting but do like to learn a few self defense tips, and your channel is helpful towards that end. You are doing a good job.
In the 70s my brother was obsessed with fighting in the streets, in nearly all cases up against guys much bigger than him, and was totally obsessed with his nunchuckus. Obsessed because even though only 5'1" no one could beat him. (He did NOT use his nunchucks in the street, only his martial arts skills which he was also totally obsessed with and deeply involved in. Carry nunchucks around on your person here in Australia and you're in a lot of trouble with the law! ) He was extremely good at the nunchucks almost like Bruce Lee who was his inspiration. Until one day a mate who he had fallen out with let his 2 pitbull dogs out on him and because he had his nunchucks with him at the time he used them on the guy's dogs. Which ended up the police confiscating them from him.

My boyfriend is a senior citizen & his neighbor gave him a pair of wooden nunchucks for self defense. He knows no martial arts at all,& is not a fighter. He is in good shape for his age & goes to the gym regularly.
But he also has arthritis in both hands. R these SAFE EFFECTIVE self defense thing to use for someone over 70? I'm very scared for him to even practice using it since he drops things occasionally due to his hands & I told him Mace is better to have fir self defense.
Would he be able to effectively protect himself & learn how to use these? I think it's a bad idea.
I wouldn’t recommend nunchucks for self defense but he could use a cane or a walking stick very effectively.
Love your content. Quick question. I’ve been practicing since 2015. Always use wood chain chucks. Mainly free style and being flashy. Anyway long story short . I recently ordered a pair of foam chucks to get my strikes down. But when I practice with real chucks…. Do you recommend wrapping the punching bag with a towel or something? I don’t want to ruin this punching bag I’ve required.

That’s silly. I would be more afraid of a kitchen knife than a pair of chucks. I get it though. Punish the law abiding citizens in favor of rewarding the criminals. It’s happening everywhere it seems.

Have you ever had ball bearing nunchaku break? Do you oil the bearings periodically?
I never have. I used to use graphite a long time ago. The oil leaks but you could try a little wd40
