- With his authentic nunchaku skills and liberal ideas, he established a unique technique system. Nunchaku Artist
Founder of the Nunchaku Mukei Mugen Ryu
Fascibated by Bruce Lee in a movie at a young age, Ninja HIROKI aspired to martial arts. He underwent years of harsh training to master the nunchakus. With his authentic nunchaku skills and liberal ideas, he established a unique technique system. At his 25th year of training, he founded Mukei Mugen Ryu Style, which he is spreading all over Japan,
Using the body movements based on the Mukei Mugen Ryu martial theory, he also serves as an instructor for the easy backache relief and exercises for the elderly.
Some of his overseas achievements include being featured in an American documentary “Stan Lee’s Superhumans” in 2011, as well as performing at the stage show HYPER JAPAN 2014, the biggest Japanese culture event in the UK. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx
If you work as a butcher, you can practice with linked sausage. If you're out late at night, in a dark alley, make sure you brought your nunchaku's and not the linked sausage.
Mark Keith what if there frozen
Mark Keith lmao
Mark Keith, Good one bro, LOL.
but if I bring the sausages with me I can put them in a sandwich later, can't do that with a nunchaku!
@@Ivanofkoshinkaisokanryu then they hit better
this has changed my world view, i never knew about the possibilities of nunchaku for horse abuse
haha ha 😂
😄 He said before they used it to control horses, then it became a weapon later.
american used ropes to catch horses. and that smal metal star in their shoes to abuse horses although. 😅
its a new spin on beating a dead horse
Hahahahahaha hahahahah 🤣😂..me just being weak 😂 with these comments
🤣🤣
my favorite trick is when you take the nunchuck and you hit someone with it.
haha 😄
🤣🤣
Haha
😑
Not really a trick 😅
imagine if he slipped and one of them went flying into the crowd. Ted Talk cancelled
or best TED talk ever!
That happened to Bruce Lee when he was filming Game of Death. There was no crowd, but there’s an outtake where the nunchucks fly out of his hand and then he bursts out laughing.
Is there anybody who even know how to spin nunchachu?
Then I would say you all eligible for your comments😑
lmao 🤣🤣
I do. And I think that's why he avoided aby flip moves. Like rolling it over the hand. It would have been a nightmare for him if it did slip. Played it safe
I don't know Japanese so just seeing him strange the horse mask out of context is very funny to me
One thing I learnt from this video: I will never win a fight against this guy
Bro i saw your comment everywhere..i watch the same videi you watch or is this destiny?
@@PHEONIXCHOCOROME I guess we will never know
Idk why u guys hatin on him in the comment section
It must have taken years of practice for him to perfect his moves
And if u really didnt enjoy this please dont hate on him in the comment section
Thank u
Thanks bro this is the exact comment i needed after seeing all this hate
As someone that is skilled with the nunchucks an had been using them for a good year now what he did takes a lot of practice an hard work but all of what he did can be learned an done in just a few months
Please show me your video...
I said the same. And you can watch mine n let me know who's best?
Im just curious how much this dude makes I'm just as if not better than this dude, not throwing shade either.. shits not easy. It's one of those things. you gotta be able to endure the very painful mistakes, that come with the art and keep going. Unless your a sissy using foam to learn..
Probably not
Then keep that hole in your face shut. These trolls got nothing better to do than run their mouths
He didn’t become water 💧. He became the cup .
Bruce Lee 1940-1973
What's the point of doing a Ted Talk, with no English subtitles.
not gonna lie when he took off his mask i thought there was gonna be another for some reason
1rens123 kakashi style
1rens123 worse weapon ever!just for showing off!
😂😂😂😂
Yeah like Scooby doo
@@MarkJones-gd3nt you know how much damage nunchaku can do?
My Halloween costume as a kid. This would be the equivalent of me dressing up and flipping any ancient farm equipment
Amazing. That is very difficult to do. Loved it!
2:07 "u can even use them to ride a horse. And when bandits accost you on the highway, simply remove the reigns, and defend your honor.
3:40 Not just for show. You can totally coke someone with them as well".
1:32
What if, when he takes off the mask,
the audience screams and wretches
in horror...
Plot twist: he flings his nunchaku into the crowd!
1:16 whoa this guy has some serious energy while doing it
My favorite part is when he speaks English and I can turn on the captions 😃
I remember drinking Sapporo beer in Sapporo, when it was still made there.
Rubber horse don't hit back
Walter Wang brick don't hit back
i can only think he did that to try tame a horse but if its that unruly you need nuchaku it would kick you to near death
@@mattcummin2965 Did you mean..."Boards"...don't hit back?"
Eveybody's gangster till he swing his nunchucks and hit his head. Claps😂
Maxi wins!!!!!
Soul caliber
They'll let anyone on these TED talks nowadays
I have wondered and this has answered: the one use for nunchucks is to build dexterity. (well, and to surprise-kill one of the kings soldiers - Braveheart)
Bruh I don’t know why but this looks so fuckin cool I’m gonna learn how to use these soon
I'd like to see this guy try to block a .45 at terminal velocity
TOO ALL YOU HATERS - that WAS AWSOME
it's true :)
Nah it wasn't worth watching.
you've must have seen much better skills in the past
This is pretty cool, but all I can think about is: what if his mask slipped off at the beginning?
I don't know why but, it just looks so much better when John Wick uses them.
I just watched 8 minuets of a guy going to town with his chucks.
Each time he bows they clap so bow for the whole time and get bunch of claps lmao
The masked ninja reminds me of Kakashi Hatake
This reminds me shadow fight 3 lol
Michaelangelo: need more practice
TedX talks hit different in Japan
Impressive. Why is this on TED Talk?
respect for ever Hiroki
3rd! But why is this not CC?
Insanely badass
People do not realise that at that speed if you get just one hit in the face you are either unlucky and will never come back or are lucky and will stay in a coma and at one stage moreorless come back or you are so lucky that you will only have broken jaws and eat some baby purée for few years .
"look eye. Always look eye."
Notice the chain is considerably longer than Normal. I wonder if that's preference ect. I will investigate.
Finally. And they said I was crazy
Idk why this cracked me up 😂😂😂
The camera has gone haywire, can't the cameraman stop moving a lot 'coz it s making me dizzy and I don't get to see all the movements of Hiroki.
My favorite nunchaks! Color and dimention chain.
Tradional martial arts. Making the mundane magical
Very good
Wow
Ninja for life❤
I’ve encountered nunchucks in three fights and have gotten knocked out each time.
Great double nunchaku performance
The true tricks are hitting boards and not getting hit from the ricochets and bounce back. Although I could never work 2 pair at once either. First time I smack a tree with my nun chucks it bounced back and blacked my eye. Wish he would have hit something.
with 2 Nunchuks it looks good
I doubted him because the nunchaku, I believed in him because his belt is turning white again
marco the phoenix?
He's like the IRL version of Uub
Great techniques
What did the horse ever do to deserve that??
Excellent 👍
Great performance
I thought Nick Diaz was behind the mask for a second
流石ヒロキ
Shadow Fight 3 has the best Nunchaku moves
How much time does it take to do this?
1:13 , marking this so I can learn this move, lol
That was awesome
Why would they choose someone who isnt really all that good at nunchaku?
CRAZY
Basic skills but you can do it epic
Sometimes ya just hafta squish that horse
What was that horse supposed to do?
Is it made of wood cus no matter what I don't think I can go that fast
Why did he tie his belt like that.
0:1 at this momemnt you can see he isnt shinobi
that's more like a art!
What pageantry is this?
Good man.
So this is what Asian ted talks are like.
hey this actually gives me more hope than i realized. there isnt anything that he did that i havent been doing automatically and on repeat 8 years ago. maybe i really should start hitting that record button... nunchaku isnt even my most practiced weapon. jo has been my most practiced weapon for well over a decade now.
dang and his doubles flow is hella clunky??
It was good for what it was, I was expecting more modern. All of these moves are for intermediate practitioners.
show ur moves sucker x)
It's true.
I agree. I thought he would be going in a little more
What he was doing is more traditional it's what I expected....it would have been funny if he did nothing but fancy tricks because nunchucks are weapons (Don't get me wrong I love doing tricks but you have to appreciate the meat and potatoes of the weapon) what he did wasn't very flashy but it as he demonstrated can be effective (it could have been better but it is what it is)
I wouldn't call him a true Ninja though far as I know there is only one true master in Japan who has only a handful of students and to my knowledge dont reveal they are studying under him as a condition of learning from him
Amazing
I don’t know why people are hatin when they couldn’t even possibly try to do what he did in the video.
I can ....I started 3 months before ....& all he did are simple tricks
ohh...wow...is that right ?? i should say wow....
Yappa Hiroki san wa sugoi !!!!!!!!
So no one will tell that he is faster than your wifi
No matter how much I see people do amazing stuff with nunchucks I can't help but think that literally any other weapon would be more efficient. Nunchucks are definitely hard to defend against but it seems like the nunchuck user never gets away Scott free, most of their blows that connect end up costing them when they fight sword users etc, I have yet to see someone completely dominate with nunchucks against someone with a similar skill level
Um actually true its difficult to function the brain in a real fight and nunchaku is one of the hardest weapons in the word it ranks 3 rd in it
Where have you seen fights of nunchuks against swords?
@@josephbornman8462 no real rights exist or the opponents would die, so nowhere
You at a ted talk, an you see this 2:15
What you do
Marshall Law, Wwhachaa
*Any weapon with a chain is unpredictable after a strike....sorry "Ninja" you need a Sword or Spear.*
killersushi99 What do u mean?
killersushi with a good spacing and the right move it's possible :)
I live in an open carry state and i always keep one in the chamber. I’m ex military and i’ve had a lot firearms training. There is really no self defense substitute for a gun
he'll probably use a gun better than you if he had a short training, his hand to eye coordination are superb
Sancho bullets do run out and required mid to long distance.
Sancho yeah but if you live in a country with no legal firearms this is a good varry
If a group of people come after you you are screwed no matter what you have if they each have knives and one is willing to take the first hit for the others to shank you.
Mims Zanadunstedt you must have no legs
Damn good.
What he is doing is nothing different from what Bruce Lee did to popularize them. These exercises are for fitness training and coordination, and very easy to hit yourself if you are not polished.
Michelangelo 🔸🐢just joined the chat 💬
He took that from some 12 year old yellow belt from Wisconsin.
Some he is good,
揺るぎねぇ!!
That's very skilled, but can he do that while marching? If so, he could enter parades with the other baton twirlers.
