Cody, you'll wanna read Smash by Ian Winwood. It's a book about the origins and development of the 90s southern California punk revival. Covers everything from Bad Religion and Rancid through NoFx, Offspring and into the Green Day explosion.
I also read Frankenstein senior year. And really liked it! With Poor Things, GDT’s new movie, and Maggie Gyllenhall’s new movie all out/coming out I’ve wanted to re read it, but I’m committed to finding a copy while thrifting. I used to see it almost every time, until I decided I wanted it now I can’t find it to save my life. But I’m committed, dammit.
Cyclops' beam, Christian? Um... Ackshually, it's called his Optic Blast. And Gambit charges things with kinetic energy. But you can't beat Cyclops asking for the Storm for the forecast.
there’s a doc called “Official Rejection” from Peter Osborne about indie filmmakers and the struggle of festival submission, the filmmakers they follow are pretty insufferable but def covers the topics that Christian mentioned
Stop re-reading the gunslinger and move on to Drawing of the Three. It's one of King's best books and its the one that really kicks off the overall story of the series.
The Wangers show can't end until you run out of pokemon.
