Traum: Plays this and sounds like rhythmical, stubborn ocean waves
Me: Plays this and sounds like I'm drowning
it probably sounds like drowning because you are using the pedal to cover up your technical deficiencies, practice slower next time.
Wait you can hear now?
@@samaritan29 this was sarcasm and clearly I can't play this lol
Ludwig van Beethoven pianists can’t realize when something is a joke 😂
@@samaritan29 thanks for the info! I'm trying out this piece...it will help!
my eyes are going left and right, left and right like the ocean wave. Great job Traum!
Seizure time
😆
Traum nice job
Im dizzy
Then you definitely haven’t heard of the waterfall Etude
Tough piece, underrated in terms of difficulty in my opinion, have to be 100% accurate. Very well performed Traum.
Definitely agree, it’s easy to make it sound nice but complete accuracy is insanely difficult
@@yorkzie7593 exactly this
Sokolov has one of the best renditions of this and he makes mistakes in it. I'd say putting feeling in it is more important than perfect accuracy
This one is actually pretty easy. Out of the 5 I've fully learnt only waterfall was fairly difficult
@@Unmighty1 pretty easy and fairy difficult sound like you’re stroking your own ego and just makes you sound like an idiot if I’m honest.
It took me hundreds of hours of practice, dedication and commitment; but after weeks of tears and frustration I have finally downloaded the sheet music for this piece.
What website/app do u use??
@@nicks.3143 IMSLP is a good free sheet website
Lol
proud of you.
Lol
The falling keys look and make me feel like the ocean's waves. Beautifully played !
i think that's pretty much why this and Op.10 No.1's nicknames are what they are
Did Chopin name it or not, I know he didn’t name Tristesse?
@@jbcoolestgamer9786 He never names his pieces
@@cantthinkofausername6749 waterfall etude
elenajalan lena thanks 😊
When the eye doctor forgets his pen so he shows you this instead.
S Valentine well said...
Yes
eye doctor
more like
BYE DOCTOR
goodbye doctor
im leaving now
shopin is mine favourite piano player so good in with his fingers and music is good too i only think should be Jesus in singing :/ 👎
clever joke
The way you play ALWAYS gives me chills. Idk how, but it’s always so... majestic, and strong (i really don’t know how to explain it)
😉
What’s up man?
True
The cleanest and most dramatic rendition of this piece that I've heard. Bravo maestro!
Thanks so much
Great interpretation (I guess I shouldn’t expect anything less from you at this point)
wdym
Sathya's Harmony all his interpretations have been good so my expectation, going into the video, is that it will be a good interpretation of that piece
@@jackkirsch2018 true
Ocean ? More like tsunami
hi sea u again
@@fredericchopin6445 Yes you came bach. I lisztened to this piece. It was beautiful dear Chopin.
@@FranzLisztOfficial but didn't you sighread it?
I’ve heard so many interpretations of this piece, but I assure you that this is the most dramatic cover amongst all of them.. bless you🌷
WOW
Epic! Best rendition I've seen! Can't wait for 25 11!
SUre!
@@TraumPiano suRE
SURE
fun fact: you comment before even watching the whole video
Frédéric Chopin actually no I put the video at 2x speed so I got thru it quickly
Can you handel me chopin ;)
@@FranzLisztOfficial You have no place for Haydn against me.
@@keo8069 Bruh ur talking to liszt, your hardest piece is hard just because it's long "Hammerklavier"
@@AsrielKujo i need to go Bach to work
I showed my mom all the chopin etudes in synthesia form, and she said “They all look like zigzags!” 😂😂
😆
LOL!!!
My favorite Chopin piece with the best rendition I’ve ever seen! Amazing!
me: oh, ok it's easy
me: go to the piano
still me: NO, IT'S NOT EASY
@Slighty 4638practise it chords firstly, then make double staccato for each notes , then practise between two bars (the transition) then try make over legato slowly, then try to play it without looking your hand slowly. Here you are ;)
@Slighty 4638 you're welcome i finished this etude in 2 weeks with making these kind of things
@Slighty 4638 whaa
@Slighty 4638 it just took 30 mins to make it perfect bro, just make what i say , i can give more exercises , im about to finish the study :):
@Slighty 4638 so make your level enough reached with practising it, otherwise it takes long time believe me, i started piano 2 and half years ago but now i play 4 chopin etudes and sonatas like that, you have to challange with yourself every time to reach higher levels. keep it up and practise as smartly and longly as you can
The harmonies are just breathtaking in this étude, one of my favorites but they’re all masterpieces
Honestly you almost made me cry, and I literally NEVER cry. The best version of this piece I heard. Love it.
Best performance I’ve heard yet! I love this étude!
Best part is 1:16
1:30 is also great!
My favourite part is 0:00-2:39
I'm surprised that nobody has replied with something like
"hOw CaN yOu SaY tHaT's ThE bEsT pErFoRmAnCe YoU'vE hEaRd? Do YoU eVeN kNoW POLLINI?"
@@jbcoolestgamer9786 The transition at 1:16 is great though
By far the best performance you can find on RUclips, well done.
Petition for traum to upload the seasons Tchaikovsky!!!!!
Yeees
Mendelssohn's spring sonata would also be great
I forgot the "August"... Sorry
This is my favorite Chopin Etude. You did an excellent job.
YES!! I have been waiting for that. The only Chopin Etude I can play decently (after 2+ years lol). The challenge (besides hitting the keys) is to stay relaxed and to keep some power left until the end. Otherwise you just tense up and fail.
You have my greatest respect, Traum.
Thank you kottelettchen
Your interpretations are always top notch!
One of my favorites Etudes! I'm trying to learn it right now
Thanks for the upload; your performance is clear and passionate
Good job, as always
Thanks as always!
Awesome! One of my favorite Chopin etudes!
Solid and superb performance as always!!
I've learn this piece.. That's a bit hard And Traum play it like a "little warmup" 😂
Very powerful interpretation!
I love your upload time. Literally every morning I wake up there’s a new video (German time). It’s so nice!!
Great!! I'm so happy to hear that.
That immediatly became my favourite classic piece ever.
당신은 많고많은 외국어중 한국어를 찾았습니다
행운이 따를겁니다
woww i decide to play this, thank you for listening to you and allowing me to step into another world
This is the best interpretation i have heard EVER!
Thanks a lot!
Then pls Listen to horowitz playing this etude...
Sokolov
Genuinely shocking how this man literally has infinite repertoire and plays it all perfectly. Thank you Traum!
great job! thanks for uploading ❤
Excelent as always, traum, you deserve more recognition
And another Chopin etude! Awesome.
Beautiful performance:) great
I was waiting for this, love it. 🖤
😘
Nice playing! I'm trying to learn this right now and I can say it's not an easy piece when it comes to the speed of it.
Beautiful
I love this etude,very beautiful performance👌👌👏
Jesus Christ. The attention to details is insane! Great job Traum!
Nice playing, I like it.
I love this music! A great work of Chopin.
BRAVO !!!
For a 2 year video like this, I expect 2 Million likes but why isn't it??
Best performance ever made of this beautiful beautiful piece oh my god
What an ending! Love the fist
NAILED IT!!
I really like the way you put an accentuation ever 1/4th of the time, instead of just playing notes up and down. Your performance has more stable tempo this way, which makes it very interesting!
Amazing, once again. Your subscriber count keeps rising, but not nearly fast enough! Please everyone, I hope nobody gets complacent and used to Traum sharing so much content so quickly. This is really unique! In the last 6 days, Traum played a piece by Grieg, several pieces from Chopin, including a Waltz, 7 Preludes and 3 Etudes, a complete Beethoven piano sonata, and, oh, by the way, Scarbo (from Gaspard de la Nuit) by Ravel!!! That's about 55 minutes of video. Traum, you're really spoiling us. I hope nobody takes your generosity for granted!
🙏
Great playing! 👏👏
Thanks Jacob
Beautiful piece, amazing 😍😍
Thanks!!!
La mejor interpretación que escuché de este estudio hasta ahora
Amazing amazing amazing! Your voicing is perfect.
That was what I really try. Thanks a lot.
This song in my birthday... best present I could receive from you Traum!!
Hey man, just wanna tell you that classical music are not called songs! They are called "pieces" if you call a masterpiece like this a song then there is no different between it and juster bieber songs >_
This channel is gonna blow up I betcha
Everyday you post a new video, how hard it must be. Very good work and congratulations
Love this
I love how your hands seem excited at the start! Lol.
Como siempre y no me canso de decirlo tocas increíble
Ahí va, un español en estos vídeos, pensaba que era el único jajaja
Ocean, one of my favorite etudes
this is beautiful
Takes a lot of courage to play the passage around 1:48 like this - kudos, I like it a lot!
Played with much grandiose and fire, especially 1:35-1:57. My favourite etude of Chopin's. This and Chiu's interpretation are my favourite for sure!
You madlad
This piece take my breathe away....excellent Traum
This piece is great and all, but I don't think it's good that you stop breathing during his performances. Please remember to breathe!
My favorite Étude so far !
I love this etude
The hell, are you learning a whole new piece every day!!?!
大好きな、エチュードです。素晴らしい演奏デ、聴くことができて嬉しい😃ありがとうございます

What a coincidence! I just searched for this in your channel yesterday
The best one!
Intense and powerful! I'm guessing you'll upload a compilation of all op.25 etudes next?
Well...
너무 멋지십니다! 1분48초 부분은 말로다 못할정도로 좋아요! 그리고 다 치시고 오른손 주먹으로 똭! 하실때 카리스마 짱이십니다👍👍👍
I feel my eyes played ping pong. Even after you finished the piano piece.
😁😂
So good 👍
Sehr sehr schön gespielt. Du verdienst meinen vollen Respekt. Ich habe 1 1/2 Jahre gebraucht um die drauf zu haben
Hey Traum, great interpretation, I would love to see more Rachmaninoff in this channel :)
After drink Vodka 😉
Probably one of the best performances of Op. 25 No. 12 I've heard along with @PeterBuka playing this Etude so beautifully.
Leggo con immensa tristezza, molti commenti negativi.. io al contrario, trovo che sia una bellissima esecuzione, non so quante volte l'ho ascoltata.. grazie Traum 💗
I've heard this piece many many times and from what I heard this is the best version yet which compares to Grigory sokolov's recording. Great job traum 👍
Gonna binge this entire channel today... Wish me luck bois
the best pianist 😎😎
Bravooooooo!!!!!
Excellent! I also enjoy the version of Liebestraum from you.
Thank you! I was learning this piece and getting it ready to audition it for a high school
How’d it go
@@lavatrex6736 great

Wow it's a Dream how you play!
One of my favorite ! I watched yesterday Man of Steel, and wow Hans Zimmer took a lot of inspiration of this for the soundtrack (especially at 1:43)
진짜 소름돋고 너무 좋다,,,대양 이라는 단어랑 너무나도 잘 맞는 곡ㅠㅠㅜ
