I have a Nicky Hayden Edition with 4000 original miles on it. Almost thought about selling it, but I knew I would regret it. RC51's are unicorns. You rarely see them out on the road. So I decided to keep it. I believe I have a few more years of riding in me to get the RC51 out and about often. Great bike!!
Love those U.S. colours. The reason why they are getting more popular and increasing in value is because they are in many ways the best sports bikes ever made for the public at an affordable price. I’ve owned both models sp1 and sp2 and to be honest haven’t noticed any dramatic difference. apart from the suspension being a bit more harsh on the sp1 even after adjustments. I wouldn’t consider buying anything else.
A couple of years ago I had a chance to score a well maintained low mileage Nicky Hayden edition RC51. I didn’t even know about Nicky’s career or even all the success that he had. I took a pass on that bike and ended up with an 05 because I liked the color more. After learning about Nicky mainly up here on you tube and the tremendous human being that he was I definitely feel like I made the wrong decision on the bike I decided to go with. Nicky was the 2006 Moto GP Champ!

Congratulations very well kept
Thank you
What’s the last four of your vin? Mine is 0618. Trying to figure out the highest VIN and figure out how many were made. 1100 is the highest I’ve seen.

Any RC51 is better than no RC51 at all !
AGREED!
The only difference between the N.H. edition and any other was the factory sticker kit and the unpainted frame .
@@P.DuncanMonk Nah. It's KNOWING you have a 'Nicky Hayden Edition' is what counts.... and is more desirable and collectible. Thank you very much.
Do you have the racing decal set that came with the bike when it was new?
the sticker on the tank is from ebay .......
It’s a beautiful bike
