    Thank you so much for this video! I had a blinking blue light, I found the cable break using an AM radio, after fixing that I got a solid green light but the Husqvarna 315 still gave the error message "no loop signal" with the mower in the charging station, but manually pulling it out from there it worked fine. Using your excellent information at timestamp 17:30 I could see that the front right sensor was showing a negative value, the reason was that the installer of the unit had left a loop under the charging station that I probably disturbed a little during my initial trouble shooting, I removed the loop and the value turned positive: it now works fine again!

      This is one of those errors that really stumps a lot of people because sometimes the mower will drive into the charger and park to charge, but won't come back out on it's own due to this. If the boundary wire is tucked under the charging station plate the front loop sensor in the mower can actually go over the boundary wire when it parks but then think it is out of bounds when its time to restart. That is awesome that you were able to diagnose this issue and fix it. Great work!

    These videos have been my only source of information on my automower. Husqvarna should hire you guys.
    Is there any information on what the near and far signal values should look. I cant figure out if my sensor, antenna or board is bad or my boundary set up.

    You guys are the most helpful!
    Not much support for these mowers. Your videos work because I already purchased a new circuit board since anhydrous nest took one of mine out.

    Really helpful - thank you so much. You've helped me identify a malfunctioning sensor on my 450X. It registers a loop signal at strength 80 or above, but if the signal drop any lower such that the other three sensors show a signal strength of 58- 63, the front right sensor indicates a strength of 0. The error didn't show up in dealer testing in the workshop.

    My "No Loop Signal" error on a 115h was resolved by running "Settings > Security > Advanced > New Loop Signal", then waiting a very long time. The loop signal strengths were all zero. So I created a test loop (miniature yard) and it also showed zero signal strength.

    Excellent video, I have exactly this issue with a 430X model. I do not have such a huge extension (no more then 60ft from boundary wire) but I do have a small hill in between. This is causing to loose signal (and also as I have an island on top of the small hill the mover is detecting this wire way before it ~6ft before). What should I do to reinforece the signal on that "dead zone" where the mover is not far way from the wire but the little hill its preventing it to get wire signal? Thanks in advance for your comments!

      I found the issue, it was my fault! I crossed the wires while delimiting an island. But this video and knowing how to see the signal of the wires gave the clue to find and solve the issue!

    thanks for this. I've got the loop error message while full green.. I understood your explanation but not sure what I'm to do to fix it...do I replace front sensor board?

    Thanks a lot for your vidéo. I have a similar problem with my 330X (french version). I have the "no loop signla error" even with solid green on the charging station. What is really strange is that My AM can work up to 30min without any problem and then stop with the "Loop error". I compared the signal values between my AM and the one of my neighboor. It seems like all of my sensors sometimes go wrong. Where far from the loop wires, my AM says 23 105 87 -28, the other AM gives a more consistent values like: 96 95 97 96 (and never under 80). When I move my AM, the values can change abruptly to any other value but none are as consistent as my neighboor's AM. I guess there is an issue with the main board not only the loop front sensors, because Rear loop sensor also gives wrong values...

    Hey Dwight how about a video on how the *Charge Station Signal* works. My mower sometimes goes back and forth in font of the station and not turn to go in. Note -- I have a Garage built for my mower.

    Have a 315 year 2015 and testing the F and N signals placing the mower right side to the charger right side and get around 150 on F and around 80 on N , is that ok? saw on older automower test that F should be over 300 and N should be over 100 when doing that specific test?

    I have noticed my cutting has changed. It used to do a lot of spiral cutting but now I see it stopping and doing more of a square pattern. Have they done an update to change some of the way they cut?

    Automower 430x, solid green light in charging station, loop wire signal around 80 in center of yard, around 130 near boundary wire and still no loop messages keep coming and automower doesnt move, blades arent moving and automower stops after about 1 meter and changes direction and does the same.
    Is it the problem in the sensors or do I have to focus on to charging station? I havent checked that yet. Thanks

    How close together should the wires be that go out to the island and return from the island?

    • @RoboticMowerServices
      @RoboticMowerServices  2 года назад

      As close as possible. putting them right on top of each other or stapling them with the same staple is the best way to do it to eliminate any chance of them not canceling each other out in a large install.

    Hi. Thanks for this video. I had a situation where my Automower has 0 for front, rear, and guidewire signals. I know the charging station is good because I used another Automower in it to check it. The problem started when I believe an insect shorted one of my charging stations… I was getting weird charging voltages and there was fried bug on it and some damage to the circuit board surface. I replaced the charging station board and it worked with my second Automower. I am wondering if the damaged charging station messed up a circuit board on my Automower. Other tests confirmed the motors still work, I am able to connect with app, and the battery is ok. Any suggestion on how to troubleshoot? Since it is not just the front loop sensor value but all three at 0, I am guessing it is not just that circuit board.

      Try changing the blue lead connectors on the charging station. The ‘blade’ type used by husqvarna are rubbish, they cut through wire.

    Now I know what was wrong with my original 450x...dam mower died out in the middle of the yard every time.(yard 400 feet across) They sent me another Charge station. It fixed my problem but turns out it was a station for a 430x (only 2 guide wire hook ups) did not realize it until over 3 years later when I decided to put another wire in.

    My mower blades stop when going back to charging station. Is there anyway to keep them going? At least until the mower hits the guide wire?

    • @RoboticMowerServices
      @RoboticMowerServices  Год назад

      Nope. It does not spin the blades on its way out from the station or on its way to the station so that it conserves power. No way to change that.

    Hello, do you have any suggestion how to use quick menu on Awd 435x and read signal strength ? If ti is even possible.

    • @RoboticMowerServices
      @RoboticMowerServices  Год назад +1

      The 435X gives you all of those nice new bells and whistles and features that come with the 4th generation Automowers, but that quick info menu is something that was taken away on them. The signal strength can only be seen through the Autocheck program which is only available to authorized Husqvarna dealers. It is also that way for ALL of the 500 series mowers because they do not have a menu screen or keypad. It's frustrating! As a dealer I have mentioned getting this added to the Automower Connect app for the 435X and 500 series mowers every chance I get.
