Very nice video, it helps me understand the concept and also how to troubleshoot with the multimeter, which I'll do very soon. My remaining challenge will be to find the faulty cable (if any) given it's buried quite deeply apparently and given I don't have any installation map.
@pierrechristen9025 definitely more challenging when you have no instsll map..I have worked on many like that..you can get the mower to trace back a guide and run another guide as a boundary to eliminate as much un known ,depending on how much install is affected.. a tone tester will be worth the money to assist (note:tone tester can trace threw a failed join) some people ue an AM radio also

The guide wire is connected to the boundary wire ? Or just its only close to it ?
