Softpop 2 is my favorite synth, this video is a wonderful presentation! Great seeing what you can do with it. I find the digital oscillator update to be a really useful and excellent sounding addition.
@@Stazmabh my one feature wish besides a less fragile case is access to both analog and digi oscillators from the panel without firmware swap. The clean base sound of the analog square and tri really is a perfect fit for the pixel feature, and I love that sound too. I’m still curious to see what you do with digital because j love your videos and IMO it becomes a very different instrument with digital... :P
Calling this creature a semi-modular is a bit unfair. It seems to have quite a few utility things with its env follower, x/y mix etc. All on a few sliders n knobz. Nice vid.

This easily the best Softpop 2 video I’ve watched. Thank you 😊
Many thanks ;-)
The most inspiring softpop video i’ve seen so far! Thank you

Many thanks ;-)
Digital osc FTW! (Seriously would be curious to see you explore the digital oscillators. It’s such a a different instrument to me.)
I havn't tried yet but I do love my analog square wave so much I doubt I'll ever make the firmware change.

Well it is for sure technically, the ARP 2600 is also semi modular and have quite a bit of weird utility onboard that arn’t pre patched ;-)
@@Stazma Yeah it’s a credit to Casper Elec / Bastl that this is in the same league. Imagine what a lot of them could do 😵💫
I would love one but they are expensive.. 400-500 euro??!!!
