Hi deborahogbobi5848, I probably won't be recording any more videos on this EA, but try the free demo and run backtests with your selected broker to see how it would have performed for you.
It absolutely matters how it back tests. If over 3 months it loses, why would you trade on real money . You need consistent small gains. Not a few weeks of losses. When do you cut your losses, if it keeps losing?
Hi thumpick, market conditions dictate how an EA will perform. If it's profitable over a long period of time, it's worth testing. I would keep it in a demo account and monitor it's performance. If it's going through an unprofitable period, I would remove it from my live account. Conversely, if it starts profiting, I'd install or re-enable it in my live account.

Hi ayyan1705, you will first need to sign up with a broker of your choice, then download their free version of MT4 or MT5. Then you can install the EA onto the platform.

Hi animalsworldtop, if you mean how long the period of the backtest is, it's difficult to say. Generally backtesting over a longer period will give you an idea of the robot performed in various market conditions, but backtesting over a shorter period, like a week or 2, will give you an idea of how it's performing in current market conditions.

You'd have to check with the prop firm if they would allow it, and if the EA has drawdown protections so you can avoid drawdowns that would breach the rules

Hi gillyboy1566, EAs can't be profitable all of the time. There will always be unprofitable periods. I'd suggest running a backtest to get an idea of the EA's performance in the past to get a better idea of it's overall performance in different market conditions.
May i ask EA test report proof is it trustable?

Hi AnrichWellen, if the EA has a set file, it will be included in the download. Alternatively, you can email the developer directly and ask for set files to suit your needs. These EAs are all 3rd party, and as such, the set files, if there any, will be provided by them. You can of course, set up the EA to suit your needs in the settings too

Hi thalpha5148, once you place a robot onto your chart following the steps, it will trade fully automatically, as long as your machine is on, platform running, and you're connected to the internet. If you cannot do this, you can look at a VPS solution.

We haven't tested it, so I cannot say. All robots' performance will depend on market conditions as well as the actual strategy, though

Yes, but you'll need a program like EA Studio. You can import it, and download it again as an MT5 EA

Hey Funch, I use real ticks with FSB Pro and EA Studio and on MT the brokers do not provide real ticks. It says there is, but no.. :)

Hi ademuyiwaafeez3960, unfortunately not. You need a PC, laptop or VPS to trade with EAs as you need to install MT4 or MT5 platforms.

I back tested this with my own set and it performed amazing well, 10% profit and 90% wins USD/JPY.
Installed on real account then migrated it to mq5 VPS today, after that removed it from mt4 computer, switch off and wait.
Until now 17 hours later it didn't opened any trades or stops or limits pending trades. This is normal? Have you tested on real account using VPS?
Hi filipepereira9267, this sounds like either marker conditions aren't right yet for the strategy rules to met to open trades, or your broker may have different settings for demo and live accounts. I would suggest opening a 2nd demo account, installing the EA there, and compare. Also, double-check that the smiley face is in the top right hand corner of the chart indicating that the EA has been successfully installed on your chart.
@@PetkoAleksandrov As a trader I realized that market conditions was not matching that sets requests.. Wednesday, finally it started and guess what performs amazing all week. Looks like a real person 😲😲 trade very similar to me but need my supervision on rate decisions and other important calendar economics reports, but if I don't want a watch you left us this chance to cancel that day.

I think we can't use our mt4 set on mt5 and get same performance, it's not only because mt5 version don't have( pending is a super amazing sfae way to trade )
This bot does very poorly if you're testing it without specific trading timeframes.
Hi dee23gaming, most EAs are optimised for a specific asset and timeframe, so it would be important to specify the timeframe for best results.

Hi tomasvelasquez7455. Because we test so many EAs, it's not always easy to continuously make update videos, however, you can always run the backtests with the demo license, and see yourself how it would have performed over the historical data from your broker.

Hi wmdigital3326, best would be to test it on a demo account. Your lot sizes would be very small, so be sure to select a broker with very tight spreads.
FP Markets is not good to go with! They do not trade on Crypto on Weekends!

just backtested the bot for entire history all of it are losses the bot is not working
Hi ayoubaazzam2169, Make sure you have enough historical data, your modelling is set to the right settings, and try different periods, not just the entire history. You can also try with different brokers to see if the results are different.

@@PetkoAleksandrov You can see on any backtest if an Ea is good or not. even if it draws a straight ascended line to the top, you should know, in the market, it will not be like that. market conditions are not included in backtests, that's why i never do that before I've forward tested it.
