@@AdventureTimeRC Yeah I don;t have a big budget myself. It is nice that there are quality RC for a lower price!
Really great upgrade , very nice and good job
Thanks allot my friend I appreciate your comment 😀✌🏻😁
Looks great. Nice upgrades. I have one of these I need to change the shocks and remove the metal plates.
think those are A285004's from eBay are about 12 bucks a set of 4. not really long on travel and the springs ARE a little stiff, clipping off 1 or 1.5 coils and flattening the new ends will soften them up a little (less preload), or angle them 20 degrees inboard (tops) for more travel and softness both. the bodies are threaded for the spring stops, clipping some coil its easy to run the collars down a little adjusting height+strength.
@@modelnutty6503 mine are insanely stiff i think thats why they added the metal plates, i will be removing the plates and just getting a nice set of shocks, i cant stand the plates smacking around in there making all that noise anyway lol
Lol I left the plates and added wheel weight it really stays planted now doesn't roll over much the lantern I have hanging of the side is metal and makes allot of noise to lol
Upgrading is fun stuff for sure! Very rewarding
Yes it is fun to see what you can do with a base model rc thanks for watching brother 😀✌🏻😁

Que servo utilizaste?? El 3218 le queda grande
Great video 👍👍
Thanks brother ✌🏻😁😎
What is the wheel base of this rc car?
The technology of your customization is wonderful. Great rise of Toy car seems fun, doesn't it?
Very fun thank you very much my friend 👍🏻😁✌🏻
Great video. Could you tell me what mode did you do with the screws that hold the darn wheels, cause the original screws tend to bend .
I think I kept the original screws I gave the truck to my father a couple years ago
Looks MEAN🔥🔥 Cool truck and congrats again on ur channel!👍
Thanks allot brother for watching and commenting I really appreciate it its turned out to be a great truck 😎😁✌🏻
Başarılar👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👉💎
Thanks allot my friend 😁✌🏻😀
Sorry I’m late, been a busy. But good vid! Really big improvements to it! That thing is awesome.
No worries bro thanks for checking it out✌🏻😀😎
Hey buddy on the steering think if you sand away a little on front diff pumpkin it will clear the tie rod link a little more giving more steering as well looked like it was hitting !!!! Awesome video bud 👍 RC BRu-C
Thanks allot for the tip i put notches in the knuckles to make it turn this far I have done what your talking about to other truck s it is a good trick thanks allot for taking the time to comment appreciate it my friend
You´re right - it is a lot of crawler for the money - and this way you have the satisfaction of having taken a mediocre toy and fulfilled all its potential : )
Thanks allot it is allot if fun to modify and create your own thing I just love the defender body they look so cool 👍🏻😎✌🏻
Cool upgrades, I have same care, have you list with all upgrades? it would help me a lot. Thanks.
Thanks allot for watching my friend I here is a link to my playlist for this truck has all the parts i used in the the videos

@@AdventureTimeRC Below the video is only a link to the servo. I asked for a complete list of upgrades parts. Wheels, shock absorbers and ECS? Do you have the same driver or have you replaced the RC kit? Thanks so much.
Cool video 👍🏻👊🏻✌🏻❤️💪🏻nice rig, I don’t mind Banggood stuff servos are great for $ and zop power batteries are working perfectly for me and dirt cheap! Keep them coming brother ✌🏻
You can have allot of fun working on the cheeper stuff I really enjoy it thanks allot for watching brother 😎😁✌🏻😀
what wheel are you using ?
There is a link in the description if the video they are just cheep Amazon wheel's but work pretty good thanks for watching my friend 👍👊💯😀
@@AdventureTimeRC Hey please help buddy, cant find wheels link, there is just servo, ZP1001 playlist and instagram :-(
I have the same model, but I think the crawling speed is rubbish, its all or nothing. The speed controller you mention, would that help with the problem, if so what you you suggest??
I agree any crawling esc with a drag break will make it allot better i actually just gave mine away it was a good truck just had to many trucks
@@AdventureTimeRCThanks for the info, have ordered one already. looking forward to a lot more control for the motor.
Some cool cool mods bro, it's a full hobby rig now!! I see you replaced the shocks, but it's still a bit bouncy, what weight oil are you using sir? It's really capable now, the extra stearing must help a lot😎😎😎👍👍👍
Its only 10 weight oil I like my trucks set up that way personal preference I've noticed when I set up my truck with saggy shocks I have better luck not rolling over when going over rocks they would probably stiffen up good it I filled them with thick oil thanks allot for watching brother its a fun truck now✌🏻👍🏻😎
@@AdventureTimeRC yep, 10wt up to 20wt is what I would use, and totally understand your personal preference buddy, I like my shocks soft on crawlers so it looks more scale at slow speeds, and in slomo 😎 thanks for replying buddy 😁👍👍👍👍
@@SouthpawBluesman any time always enjoy chatting with other rc people
runs TONS better than box stock, a little bouncy but stock bounced around like Tigger lol.
wheel weights vs stock chassis weights games might get it a little bit better, idk.. :)
I have the wheels weighed to lol it was a full upgrade series the electronics was just the last step I like how heavy it is with the body and wheel weights really sticks to the ground fun truck I git a wpl c24 coming to work on to
gotta love the simplicity of the WPL C-frames! shortened the lower eyelets of A285004 shocks 1/8", lighter springs from local hardware store clipped and made fit, mounted tops at inner tray holes... now seeing about 2-1/4" of 1 wheel lift flex from the C-14 and C-24. still stock plastic 4 links too, crazy flex for such a small rig.
the newBright Jeep bodied got my stock shock budget upgrade, is 50 mm half threaded M3 cap screws (cut leaving 5/16 of threads, grind+polish heads to fit inside "shock" bodies). used a paper punch on some sticky back foam sheet, give the discs a center hole slide them up the shaft, tiny amount of CA to lock them to the underside of the bolt/screw head gives just enough friction damping. the new screws give about 4.5 mm more travel length, is 7-8 mm at the wheels and about 1.5 cm total end to end twist... is about 1-3/4" of 1 wheel lift for under 2 bucks spent, and enough damping it doesn't bounce silly.
the C-framed B-1's stock shocks/rods got the foam disc treatment, but being stock its only seeing 1-1/4" of wheel lift. right behind the tops of the shocks, on the body, same sticky back foam as pads to the shock tops stopped the annoying plastic clank-clank noises it made. military trucks usually stiff anyway and kinda tired of messing with that one lol
@@modelnutty6503 I have a b1 I ran it one time I need to do a overhaul on it to I do want to do 4 link on the c24
David (RunThatRC) used longer WPL shoulder screws to replace the leaf spring anchors, instead of being pinned down they'd float about 3/16", letting the axle drop on opposite side (negative suspension travel) would let it flex 1-1/2 to 1-5/8" of 1 wheel lift. I tried with mine before it got the C-frame swap, super simple takes 5 minutes. with the right size drill bit for the longer shoulder screws they'd thread themselves into the metal chassis channel. does need plastic washers to keep the leafs captive within the ears of the mounts about 1/16" worth. easiest to do for good results near instantly.
you can do a shackle setup from scratch for pennies, or get the kit for 22 bucks. HobbyDaddy and Gabriel Silvaz have videos making the shackle setups, for loops I cheated with short sections FlySky antenna tubing lashed with thread and CA on the leaf springs, the springs snap pretty easily trying to form their ends into a small loop.
@@modelnutty6503 rtr has some good videos I'll probably get the kit its cheep I like the idea of 4 link shock setup I might try the shackle set up on the b1
Awesome video Sir and content on your channel, new follower here and Greetings from the Philippines ❤️
Do you mind sharing what kind of electronic upgrades you used for getting drag breaks and what transmitter your using Sir? I will be getting myself one of these after watching your videos 😊 And want to follow your upgrade advices. Links to the electronics would be awesome. Will be waiting for more videos of this rig. TIA 😊
Thanks allot for the comment and support I really appreciate it here is a link to my playlist for this rig
