Thanks so much for commenting and glad you found it useful. It’s a great route which I’m sure you’ll love. The weather is looking ok for you too. Please let us know how you get on and what you thought of it and best of luck 🤞
It’s a decent route but we’ve done the 3 peaks so many times, or at least it feels that way, that we don’t want to do them again! I’d definitely recommend it. Thank you 😊
Fantastic coverage of the whole race there, I've enjoyed reliving the experience. Well done to you both, you've done well to run and film, brilliant!!!
Very impressive indeed from you two really are running well. As always thank you for your time making these videos for our pleasure really appreciate them
Hi Thomas, great to see you too 👍 Yes, definitely a a humid one, tough for all of us out there and not just the runners. Thanks so much for your comments, they’re much appreciated 😊
Looks a good day out! 50 miles a long way!! But dare I say it didn’t look as tough for you as your runs the other week ! Must be well trained 😊 well done 👏 hope you got a good placing at the finish 😊
Thank you, it was a great day out. The ascents aren’t as tough as those in the Lakes but they still get you! Not sure on position but got what we set out for - a sub 12hr finish and gold medals!
Thank you so much! Hardmoors are definitely a series of races we need to look at. Maybe next year for something different. Glad you enjoy our content, it’s much appreciated 😊
Thank you Pete. Seriously though, it wasn’t easy as you well know! A very tough day out on a tough course and the weather didn’t make it easy either. Suffering a little today too 😂 Well done to you too 👍
Watched it twice. Just like seeing you guys doing ultras. I like seeing the routes from your videos and how casual you are about these mammoth runs, like it's a walk in a park. Great day out and massive congratulations.
Thank you so much Olga. It’s never a walk in the park though we never entertain the idea of not making it to the end. It was indeed a great day out but the weather took its toll on us being so humid. Thanks again for watching 😊
What a tough day out in the hills. A cracking race with great aid stations and support staff. It was a tad warmer and humid than expected. Well done to both of you 👍
Awe that looks cracking. I picked the wrong race didnt i! 😖😆 I was wondering how you got and i sort of knew it would be a good run. Excellent stuff you two 👊
Great video. Thank you so much for sharing, and well run to you both. It certainly was a warm one wasn't it? Out of curiosity, which type of Leki poles do you use, and did you use them much?
Thank you Rich, very warm indeed. It certainly didn’t forecast that so caught us by surprise. We both use Leki Ultratrail FX One Superlites. Can’t recommend them enough, they’re fantastic for ascending on tired legs. We used them for most of the ascents and put them away for the faster technical descents.
Thank you! Tough route that was 😰 Next up in June is the Kong Lakes Ultra, followed by Lakeland 100 at the end of July. In between it’ll be our usual long runs 😊
Great video! really enjoyed watching it, I was out with friends walking the three peaks and you have inspired me to do this 50 mile race next year, coudl you please let me know which backpack both of you were using.
Hello Tariq! Glad to hear it 😊 It’s a great event and a good way of getting around the three peaks with support plus knowing you’ve also done a little more on top! Our packs are Salomon Advance Skin 12’s. They’re an excellent choice of pack with a 12 litre capacity so more than enough for a 50 mile event 👍
Excellent throughout my friends well done stay safe cheers 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Thank you very much, appreciate your comments and support 👍
Thank you for sharing! I have Pennine Barrier this weekend and you've really put my mind at ease 👍
