almost the exact same set up. i get tons of shit from my trail riding buddies for taking too much crap until they need to borrow a bolt and a tool that i carry. keep up the great content!
Allens are good for those of you rocking full rap around hand guards. Anyone who uses them knows you take a dinger to the throttle side that throttle will get nice and stuck on you 🤙🏼🤙🏼
I also carry a hacksaw blade , I snap one in half and use one half as a saw , you can wrap tape around the first part of it where you would hold it. The other half of the blade gets sharpened on the bench grinder and will probably be the sharpest knife you will ever own, use tape on the part of it you would hold to protect your fingers. Also 2 or 3 jubilee clips are helpful and a tube of metal mend will repair a radiator in most cases. Good luck with this season if you manage to get going again.
Great vid as always. All of the tools u showed is SMART. The sparkplug protector $$ & the rag is GENIUS. Hope all is well on the other side of the pond. Wick On ✊ from 🇺🇸
Racing here in South Africa, I used to wear a Bum Bag all the time for Extreme Races, because the risk of braking something is way higher than a XC or Hare Scramble. However I hated it... They jiggle about and flop up and down, which drives me crazy. Now that I race XC's more, I don't wear one. I find that I can get away with it, because if I run into a problem I could just sort it out on the next pit stop.
Hy, the only thing i carry that you didn't mentionned is a universal repair kit for throtle or clutch steel cables (its moore for japanese bikes) I appreciate a lot your videos. 👍🏻😉
When I don't carry my wallet I usually throw my ID and a $20 between my phone and the phone case, it works best with an Otterbox and also with the otterbox if i crash my phone won't break. I've crash landed in my phone a few times.
Can you please talk about 18“ tires that you use? (I am searching for a tire that is good at the motocross track (sand) and works on gravel roads...?! 😅😂)
A really good screwdriver is by SK Tools, its a pocket screwdriver that is really small and fits anywhere pretty easily I carry it everyday in my shorts pocket and uts extremely high quality and has both philips and flat head. It's an American company and I believe they are even made here in America 🇺🇸 so I would definitely recommend it for all you American viewers. I'm on my second one, my first i had for four years in my pocket everyday and then I lost it.
I personally dont like riding with a drinks bag...because of the weight/comfort and also because it is really difficult to use alongside my neck brace 👍🏻
Champ this bum bag is solid knowledge...💯💯 Is it possible to make a video about the nutrition in race contortions? I know that I'm asking you big secret question 😉
Coming from mtb I find it strange to bring spare allen keys and screw drivers when you could just use a multi-tool. Maybe not and ultra light one as it might not be up to the task for dirtbikes but nonetheless. Another option could be a leatherman to also have plyers and still save weight and space.
I heard you say it can be sore carrying a heavy bum bad. Why dont you buy the acerbis front fender bag? I use that and it keeps all the weight off of me. It doesnt slide it get loose on my fender. It has a leather patch on the bottom to reduce all of that and it holds everything I need it to. If you want to see mine jus hit me up on Instagram. @keifer113 it's very helpful and I really recommend it. It wont hold everything you bring but it will hold most if. In mine I have tissues, first aid kit, leatherman multitool pliars, spanners, 4 way screwdriver, lino knife, zip ties, rachet set, epoxy, military grade knife that has survival things in it, paracord bracelet, ibuprofen pills, flashlight, monkey wrench, and a spray with alcohol in case I get a big cut. I ride a 2016 Yamaha yz250f i throw this on my front fender strap it down and off i go. I dont bring spare filters or spark bugs because where i ride it's never wet. And i dont bring spare levers because i have acerbis hand gaurds with ASV levers. I think it would work great for you taking all that weight off your lower back.👍
There's actually one item I never go without : in the states it's called duct tape I believe. Dunno the brit term for it. But I'm sure you know what I mean. Essential to me. Oh yeah, and epoxy.
Interesting topic and video: well done! On a side note: whoever came up with and implemented the idea of adding those subtitles in broken Italian needs to be better advised and/or stopped in his tracks, before such blunders trickle into any page of an owner manual or, Heaven forbid, workshop manual, please! ;-) Buon proseguimento e buon allenamento, Signor Freeman!
You lack something very important. A neodymium magnet. One day in the forest I removed the seat from the bike and put the screws on the seat. In a hurry I kicked the seat, never found the screws again, and had to drive more than 100 km sitting or holding the seat between my legs. A small neodymium magnet keep the screws together and you never lose a single one. It's just drop them to the magnet.
Can we see a video about race day nutrition and drink 👍

I spin the bag round to my front to give my back a break on the transfers.

Thanks man 👍🏻
Great practical advice, thanks. 1 thing I find is the bag slips down or is too tight. I have tried to carry stuff in a camelbak
Good idea too 👍🏻

Can you link the chain tool?
www.motionpro.com/product/08-0675
do you use a camelbak style rucsack? is the bumbag in addition to a backpack or instead of Brad?
I personally dont use a camelbak I just go with the bum bag 👍🏻
@@bradfreeman7916 I commented before the end of the video. 🙄
Why your are not using a drinking bag with space for your tools?
(In my opinion backpacks are better for riding.)

Yes I can do that! 🤙🏼
How about spare throttle and clutch cable, they're light and take up hardly any space.

I’m not from there but I think in the UK they have gaffers tape. It’s better than duct tape but a lot more expensive.
a good method is to wrap some tape around your sidestand for example. If you unwrap to use it this will still glue like new
Brad why this year your beta had two spark plugs? It's a beta motor secret? 😅

What's this two spark plug business on a 300 two-stroke Brad?
It's done so that the bike can run richer in the lower rpm's I think
You are a crack, I like your tips
Thanks 👍🏻
why not attaching the bag to the bike somewhere?
good trick with 20 euro
💪🏻😂
@@bradfreeman7916 🤣🤣😂😂 i will try on may next hard enduro race🤣
You might want to take filter skins instead
