Dude i love it! Ive had my 03 tdi for almost 2 years now... Baught off a car lot for $600 Cuz nobody wants a car with 400,000+ miles on right? !!! I shit you not 398,000 and tac didn't even work when i bought it, so no telling!! Lmao... i just didn't want to walk to work anymore in mid December! i'm the second owner. And Icing on the cake............. 1st owner was a mechanic. I learned this from a 3rd party person after about a year of owning the car. "Small world".. anyway... I like things like this! Ther's no way i will put thousands dollar pays into it... but i love my car and i like cheap hacks. Thank you
Rolling coal doesn’t help fuel mileage. It’s also real bad for your engines head. Want more power from your diesel let it breath. Big ol Intake, big ass turbo, and 3” turbo back should get you going.
@@jerrodriley4290 we’re not talking about removing air. He’s talking about making it roll coal without a tune by tricking the MAF sensor into dumping extra fuel into the mixture. This will make you roll lots of coal sure but it will hurt your motor probably. The difference with a tune is it turns the boost up on the turbo to compensate for more fuel so you’re using that extra fuel to put more power into the motor. Rolling coal is a waste of fuel especially if you’re not even using it for more power when you can turn up turbo psi and fuel delivery together + tune
You will be better putting the resistor in parallel with the temp sensor, this is what the cheap tuning boxes do. I have a 4k ohm variable resistor in parallell with the temp sensor even with it at its maximum resistance i still notice the extra power and actuall get a few more miles to thw gallon. Obviously i can adjust it now to lower resistance. Remember with resistors in parallel it reduces the overall restance that the ecu sees but still retains temp adjust so no black smoke

I love the hello three-quarters of the way through the video
you can put a resistor in the MAF and it roals more coal than fuel temps mod
Does it add any power?
Rahlo Pena i dont feel like it does but it roal way more coal when you floor it low rpm
@@benjamintheberge5811 I might do it
@@benjamintheberge5811 plz explain like what do I need
I did this to my bew and it idled like shit

That’s true but he’s not rolling coal 100% of the time. If he is easy on the pedal it will get not worse or better fuel mileage.
Lol thats completely not true about diesels.. more air does nothing without fuel.
@@jerrodriley4290 Exactly, air without fuel is nothing more than an compressor.
Fuel without forced air is an 80's idi turd.

Or leave the stock intake cause it’s the best for power. Other than that just tune and delete your car like everyone else 🤣
Did the same trick on a c15 Cat... 65psi boost and wayyyyy more pulling power lol
on a tdi???
@@notefiend yes it’s the 15L version of the tdi.. lol
@@josh351 yeah my dd15 likes it too hahaha
Well, if you want it cheap, its not going to be good. If you want it good... Its not going to be cheap

What was the decrease in mpg
I needed this video, thanks I will try this
Lol kinda amusing to watch , How’s the car running some
Years later ?
fuck ima blow up my dads car doing this looool thanks for the vid
Lmfao
I do know but i am making this videos to help you out guys. Thx
Don't recommend it, spend the bucks on a Malone stage 2 and delete.
This just makes the ECU dump more gas , with time your harm your engine and blow your head gasket
Diesel
Fuel
Oil
Power juice
Sheesh
How many watts 150 ohm resistor
It probably to late I just did it and it’s a 150 ohm and it does work and I like mine
Thank you
link for egr delete kit ?
look on ebay
just pull the line off the actuator and put a screw in it
@@2Broke2Smoke do u get an engine light?
In all honesty you should apologize for that spit bloody nasty
Bought it for gas mileage, and to roll coal. Lol you cant do both
LOL, shaking my head too. what is so cool about your car smoking? The only benefit to that is to choke out tailgaters
@@gregh7457 if you can do that you are the winner, what is the tailgater gonna do, roll coal back at you ?
Still gets better economy than my other ride, a tuned 6.7 Cummins. So yeah, TDI is for economy lol
Lol I had a jetta that rolled coal and got 38mpg so stfu
@Jake Steele my alh is stage one malone with supporting mods. 55 mpg but she won’t roll coal.
What ohm resistor
Austin Ruest he said 150 ohm
Alex Chuchman didn’t catch that, my bad. But i did try that and nothing happened
