Honestly like how this shows that Stark understands Pym, and to an extent, respects him even if the relationship is rocky.
Btw who was the shield idiot? Hydra fanboy?
Howard and Tony have boundary issues, which is why Pym is so hesitant to trust them since, while they mean well, things have a tendency to explode in ways that they don't expect and/or never wanted to happen. But that doesn't mean he hates them: he just understands there's a difference between being a good person and being a responsible person.

Peggy and Howard been to so much in the MCU
From Captain America (around 1939-1940 she joined the SSR) to Agent Carter Season1 and 2 they went through so much together that they just have that sorta connection over the years
They're Captain America's friends, I bet Howard believed he was still alive but didn't get the chance to help because of being murdered by a brainwashed Bucky.
They knew Hank was an issue if he ever went rouge. That’s why they made him a security risk so he couldn’t operate the same way and forced him to hide most of the time
thaddeus ross
“He’s no security risk, unless we make him one.” This is essentially the mindset that tends to not be considered when people attempt to destroy perceived threats. Some people are just content to live their own lives, and then someone comes in and tries to kill them and then they come back to rain fire and brimstone. This is actually a recurring theme in most media and has happened in the MCU as well.
john wick is a good example of this
@@Lasarius actually, no it isn’t.
First, because John Wick was never exclusively a perceived threat, he was an inactive threat. He was essentially a hornet’s nest that a dumbass disturbed.
And, second, what caused him to return to his old ways was an entitled punk who was high on his own self importance and his nose raised up to the point that he doesn’t realize who is around him. Then, of course, there was what Iosef perceived as a sleight against him, as if everyone should instinctively fear him. And of course, let’s not forget how Iosef murdered John’s puppy days after the death of his wife, the same puppy that his wife gifted him so he would have someone to help him with his grief.
Had Iosef simply kicked John’s ass and stolen his car, Viggo would have beaten his son, returned John’s car and forced Iosef to beg for forgiveness.

@@marckempe2143 what's a security risk mean?
@@halamadridpatriotsnationgo1057 a security risk is someone or something that poses a threat against the security or interests of another party, company, or country through action or information. Hank Pym is not a security risk because he wouldn’t do anything to jeopardize the safety of the country because that would jeopardize the safety of his daughter. He has been apart of S.H.I.E.L.D. long enough to know what his actions could cause, short or long term, and he knows that such results wouldn’t be worth it for some petty payback. He’s a scientist through and through, so he knows about earning knowledge through dedicated research and extensive experiments. He earned his knowledge from his experience and therefore he takes accountability for it and never once has he ever given up his research to anyone who would use it for their own personal benefit. That is not only being responsible, it is understanding how your actions can affect others.

It’s weird seeing this side of Howard Stark. When we see him from Tony’s perspective, Howard is very cold and skeptical. He nitpicks every little thing about his son. Tony even said before “he’s never told me he loves me, he’s never even told me he likes me”.
But in any other movie that involves Howard, he’s very friendly and charismatic.
Especially when they met in Endgame
It's kind of a tough love father-son bonding. I have the similar relationship with my dad. He never said that he loved me, but he show that he cared. Part of the reason why this de-aging looks so well (and still remains the best I've seen) is that Michael Douglas has robust filmography for them to reference and draw from to make it work. He looks like himself from his 80s/early 90s era for sure.
I think they mentioned it's a double edged sword. Yes, you have a lot of reference to draw from, but it also means that you absolutely have to get it right or everyone will notice because they know what 80's Michael Douglas looked like.
Same with younger RDJ in Civil War.
I suppose what helps is that late 80's/early 90's Michael Douglas was already a bit old, it would be way more weird to try making him look younger than that for sure.
But why couldn't they edit his voice so he could sound like he was in his 30s/40s? Seriously it sounds like he's about to have a stroke

I hope you all realize that this wasn’t some big film, and yet still, we get a scene showing already established characters, therefore tying the universe as a whole together. Hank Pym: KEEP MY WIFE"S NAME OUT OF YOUR FUCKINN MOUTH!
I was looking for this comment
When MCU gets rebooted, the higher ups should get Cameron Douglas (Micheal Douglas son to play him) play a younger version of Hank Pym and be a founding avenger. Make that version of Hank be the creator of Ultron and become Yellowjacket.
I love how when the guy brings up Janet, Howard just looks at him like "you're a dumbass"
Lesson: Never disrespect a man's spouse
Unless It's Amber TURD Heard or Will Smith's Cheating "Wife"
Agreed.
Especially if the spouse had died and the man is still clearly upset about it.
@@kainholden2001meanwhile that spouse is wh*ring with others in the quantum realm.
