Hi, I've just found your video, words have failed me, all I can say is terrific and a credit to those who took part and also the film maker, you have all captured the romance of the original film. 👍👍
I would have loved to have been there myself, but you've managed to capture some truly beautiful, magnificent footage. Top work and thanks for making me feel less like I missed out!
Brilliantly done, was waiting for 1450 to have a ' dual ' with a traction engine !.Lovely Bedford OB in the right colours too.Wonderfully evocative, and helped by the fabulous score of George Alric.

That was one of my favourite movies once and I just remember just a few details now.
Well worth a nostalgic trip back in time and watch it again, a cracking old movie.
This all time classic movie represents everything that I used to love about my country. A time of innocence and simple pleasures. Now lost forever

Beautifully re-enacted! Well done North Norfolk
What a brilliant re-enactment of a brilliant film. Cracking job NNR!
As someone who has a vhs of the film I love to see many heritage railway going to such great lengths to recreate things from the film
Well done! The colours are just like in the film. Did you use filters?
I thought the 1401 was destroyed because of Dr. Beeching. Is this a replica?
Utterly superb, and a very worthy tribute the greatest movie ever made....well done everyone!
Superb re enactment! Hope it can happen again for the 70th next year.
Unless I'm mistaken, the locomotive in the opening picture is the "Catch me who can" which was the first public demonstration to a paying public.
Happy 70th Titfield Thunderbolt! Really hope they do this again this year to celebrate.

Sadly not 1401...

Has anyone noticed the fact the two that are showed at the beginning look like Oliver and Rebecca from Thomas and Friends

Just stumbled across this, brilliantly done!
1:20 Chris Eden green? In the background
Yes
Holy crap, I never noticed!
Absolutely marvellous love the 2 tone whistle like the original.
It's not a two tone whistle. GWR locos had two whistles, a normal whistle and a brake whistle. The brake whistle was only used in emergencies.
Don't forget Bedford coach. Brilliant!!!!
Great clip... very well enacted and well shot and put together. Really brings back fond memories of a wonderfully British film! Excellent!
Thanks!
A brilliant re-creation and excellently put together film! What a shame 'Lion' wasn't available to complete the cast!
lovely!
fantastic xx
how come I;v never seen this before? its great. so well filmed and the music MADE it.... top marks

What happened to the cattle truck? Like, I get that people won't be able to ride in it, but it should still be there.
