I hope you found my Agnea Moorehead episode playlist! If you watch old movies, you'll spot her in a lot of smaller roles - "Dark Passage" with Bogart and Bacall, and of course "Ctizen Kane."
Jus Me I try to bring some of these episodes (not often heard of) to our channel. Even though this one is a public service type episode, it's not too bad. Plus I put it up just for fans of Agnes Moorehead . . . Like you! ( she is really good! )
I have seen people walking within FEET of moving buses and cars...in the winter. They don't think about the worst case scenario . These idiots today figure, "If a car hits me, I'll just sue." Good luck doing that if you're dead!
I don't think you'd be alone. She drove her own daughter nuts! To say nothing of how poor Darren felt about her. The mother-in-law from Hell (literally). When he told people his mother in law was a witch he wasn't lying or even exaggerating. I found her funny at times but too much of her could get on people's nerves. Snipe, snipe snipe. I like watching Pinky and the Brain, but I can only watch so much before Brain's abuses and insults, not to mention his ego get on my nerves.
@@ItWILLbeWONDERFUL_THERE I've had other things, too, but I have lots of folks asking for more shows. Glad you're okay, and Merry Christmas 🎅🎅🎅🎅- Charlie
Well . . . . Even though it was just one sentence, I think I pretty much nailed what the story was about! It just goes to show you that I can have an "off" day once in a while!
So I'm the only person who thinks this should have never been an episode of SUSPENSE ????? GOD this was awful Agnes is a good actress tho. God this show was awful
No, you're not alone. It's a contrived story for driving safety. Every now and then network exec's thought a public service episode fro Suspense would be a good idea. (always read my descriptions!) Thanks for your comments - Charlie
@@SuspenseESCAPEremastered Please don't get me wrong... I really appreciate you uploading these shows and making them available. I have been listening to these old-time radio shows since I was a little kid, back in the late 70s I actually thought about listening to all of the Suspense episodes and making notes on them with the actors in with brief plot summaries, (which don't include spoilers of course). Kind of cataloging them. do you know if anyone has done that
@@IImitateVince I understand completely. With every upload I try to provide some information, often with my own plot summaries. This won't help you, but I have near total recall, and have memorized these episodes. There are a couple of places online you can find plot summaries. If you Google any episode title (with the keywords Escape and Suspense) you'll find a summary of almost every episode. You can also find copies of scripts to some of the more famous episodes. I don't provide every detail of every episode because I've had people complain that they don't want me to "give the story away." Besides, if you listen to the closing credits, most actors and the writer are usually identified. And don't worry - as much as I love Suspense there are a lot of stories that aren't very good, and I just won't upload them. The worst episode (I think) is called "Deep, deep is my love" with Lloyd Bridges from the late fifties. There's probably six other channels that have uploaded all Suspense episodes, without any descriptions or concern for quality. I I try to upload only the best or most unique, in the best sound quality available. Comment any time, or feel free to ask me anything. I'm easy! - Charlie
REMINDER! → All of Agnes's Suspense episodes are in one playlist, only on this channel! ←
What a great actress she was. I only know her from Bewitched, that Twilight Zone episode, & 1 movie with Betty Davis.😀

GOOD!! 💜'ed Agnes Moorehead!! She could sing the Phone Book to me! ⚘️
Well, it takes tough lessons to teach a kid like Bobby. Good episode.
I liked it. It was well written.
69 years later and idiots on the roads have increased... UK
Yes. They've been handing out DL to anyone for years now. Unless you're a citizen.
Agnes' final film Dear Dead Delilah will be on physical format for the first time ever on Blu ray Aug 28th My Birthday.😉
Is it better in bluray?
Happy Belated🎂Birthday!
Thanks❤🙏🙏🇮🇱

Suspense & ESCAPE! Thanx a million . really enjoy the first lady of Suspense! :)
Happy 1 year anniversary Empty Chair
I also adore Agnes
We thank you for the uploads : )
Not your typical Suspense episode.
Suspense produced a handful of these "Public Service" type episodes, some were pretty good, some not.
I enjoyed it Charlie
Yes, it had a public service theme but there was some tension too (& I could listen to Agnes read the phone book!)
I hope you found my Agnes Moorehead playlist!
@@SuspenseESCAPEremastered Yes! Thank you so much : ) Very thoughtful of you to make it & I will enjoy every moment
@@GGiblet You're welcome! The "First Lady of Suspense" is second only to my Sci-fi episode playlist in total views!

Werner Herzog made an update with his documentary "One Second to the Next" about texting and driving.

The commercial break featuring the CEO of Autolite was a howler. He read like a robot!
"Mike fright."
It's nice to hear Agnes in a role other than Endora (Bewtiched).
Fuzzy Bunny Slippers Between you and me, I couldn't stand Endora!

Teachers make a difference in this world.
My late, great mom was a loved and respected teacher . . . and a helluva mom, too!
They sure did not go in for concise ads in those days.

How unPC this would be today. 😂
All the better.
Get over yourself
Like this show. But this episode was awful there was barley any plot and the message was heavy handed.
You need to read my descriptions! It's explained why this broadcast had a overwhelming message - Thanks for your comments - Charlie
