"Kent Allard" wasn't an actor, he was the actual alter ego of the Shadow in the original magazine stories. Lamont Cranston was somebody Allard disguised himself as occasionally. The radio series changed all that. The original radio Shadow was Frank Readick, whose voice and laugh you hear in the introduction during the Welles years, because Welles couldn't duplicate the eerie laughter.
#TheShadow it was Agnes, Orson, and Kent Allard the first shadow before Orson Welles 🫶🏼🩷🙏🏼🫶🏼

great!
That voice was orson Welles he mentioned on a tv interview that it was him.
He collaborated with Kent Allard and others including Agnes Morehead. Orson Welles was the youngest in the radio 📻 he was only 22.
The recording is slowed down. That's why Welles sounds odd.
That's Welles. He was good at disguising his voice.
Agnes Mojica?
😂😂😂
Doesn't sound like Orson as Cranston. Who is that?
