  • From the Drama Menu collection, Crowd Reactions is a theatre game from the book that enables drama teachers / group leaders to quickly and easily create a cohesive and creative drama lesson plan that will engage, excite and enthuse the participants: Drama Menu: Theatre Games In Three Courses. This drama game encourages players to maintain their focus and to remain engaged an committed whilst in the playing area. Players should believe in the created world, place themselves fully within it and share that experience with their fellow performers. As each reaction card is revealed, players should focus, commit whole-heartedly to each given scenario and immerse themselves in the created world (and those within it). This is such a useful exercise as it encourages players to remain 'in the moment' and it clearly highlights if players lose focus or connection to the created world and asks that they use team playing to build up the fourth wall. In this example; the reaction cards read "GAME BEGINS" " GREAT START" "IN THE LEAD" "LOST A LIFE" "FALLING BEHIND" "BRILLIANT MOVE" "BACK IN THE LEAD" "TIME'S ALMOST UP" "VICTORY" "NEW WORLD RECORD"... It's a good idea in the second playing to offer some alternative reaction cards (and a alternative ending... to keep the players on their toes)!... Your exercises are so great, and I keep using them in class, so I just bought your book so the exercises can be physically closer to me, and organized by type! I can't wait until it arrives! Thank you.

You should have a playlist where you separate short activities from warm-up games.

these excersizes can also be fun for warmups or just when you are in a group and they are all bored/want to do something like this.
