It is worse than it being a better version of the snake Miraculous. It's the snake and horse Miraculous combined and better then both of them, making them obsolete. Bunnix can teleport and Pegasus can too. The Miraculous Team seems adamant on both the characters and OP powers remaining useless.

Oh my goodness, you're right! I didn't notice that. It is a combination of them both. Idk why they created two time related Miraculous when one of them is so much better than the other. And I guess the horse's Miraculous is also pointless too since Burrow lets the person go anywhere. They shouldn't have made the rabbit Miraculous this OP. It takes away so much tension and the power is beyond OP. If I had to choose, I'd keep the snake and horse miraculouses but make the bunny one have a different power. It could have easily been super speed or something. Idk.

-When the user travels to the past or future, they are no longer corporeal. They can't physically affect what's going on, only observe.

Broken time in MLB caused a long ass discussion with my family. It was all over the place. We went from solving senti-Adrien, to how there are three bunny miraculous, and how that would be possible. Bunnix went back in time and gave it to her ancestors at one point. Current Alix got hers at some point, but it doesn’t really make sense because she already had a version, but then we thought that only one can be active at once, basically making the stopwatch Alix had originally being rendered powerless. But then Mari has one and is able to use it while Bunnix is using hers, so that completely throws it off. Then we thought that all of the three bunny miraculous exit co-dependently. But it’s like, how? What happens if one is broken? Do the others break too? Are they unaffected? Does damaging one destroy time itself and everything within it? What happens to Bunnix? What happens to current Alix? And what happens when she IS given the time miraculous by LB? What happens to the first version she had since season one? Do they merge? Is the first replaced? There are probably multiple timelines, so is the stopwatch she currently has apart of a different timeline? Does that timeline get replaced by this one when she gets the miraculous held by LB? Where does the future come into this? Does the Alix’s stopwatch just vanish when she becomes a young version of Bunnix, whenever that does happen? Is old Bunnix carrying this miraculous, LB is supposed to give to her at some point? Or, is it a fourth one? Are there infinite bunny miraculous? And does that mean infinite timelines? Are there multiple versions of other miraculous co-existing in multiple worlds that aren’t connect the bunny-verse of infinite stopwatches? Is the bunny miraculous the only miraculous that has multiple versions, as it is time itself? Does it not matter how many there are and the duplication is just a bi-product of the multiple timelines? Is Alya the Doctor?

I don't think she even can. Also, since current alix can't get it since bunnix has it doesn't that mean that bunnix can't have the miraculous ethier since her past self doesn't have it and would that just ruin every single timeline there is? Furthermore, isn't this all because of chat noir because he destroyed it in the future ? Also, how come the miraculous was disguised? Moreover, when bunnix got miraculous again why didn't she go in the burrow and go back to the moment when chat noir in the future destroyed it but a bit earlier so she can try to fix it by stopping him? There are just so many questions that need to be answered and none of this makes any sense at all!!!!!??????.

I think they were trying to establish a “back to the future” type time travel but it seems to be implied that the chat blanc timeline remains intact so multiverse? I loved the episode when it first came out, but the more time I had to reflect & think about it, I really don’t like it anymore

    • @TheArtisticAloubell
      @TheArtisticAloubell  3 года назад +35

Even the Back to the Future explanation doesn't work because Cat Blanc happened in the main, and at the time, ONLY timeline. If Alix died as a child, then she can't exist as an adult. The only way Cat Blanc would work is if a villain from the future (adult Alix's future) went back in time to mess with the past and cause Cat Blanc. That way, the future that was suppose to happen with Alix gets tampered with and she starts to fade away and then she goes back in time to make it right. These events only make sense if the original timeline was supposed to be peaceful, but someone took advantage of time travel and made the future horrible (either on purpose or by accident).
But yes, as you said, future Alix somehow still existing suggests multiverse. It's the darker option, though, as alternate universe Adrien is still in a post-apocalyptical world D'X
I'm sorry you had something you really enjoyed that turned out not to be as good as you initially thought :(

Your outro reminded me of why they stopped the anime version. Supposedly putting the spots on a 2D character was causing seizures and such for the animators so instead of doing the obvious and redesigning her costume then, they switched to 3D which lead to four production studios and everything that's gone wrong with the making and releasing of the episodes.

    • @TheArtisticAloubell
      @TheArtisticAloubell  3 года назад +28

I heard that animating the spots was just too difficult since they'd be drawn onto a super dynamic character and it would be hard to keep it consistent.
Regardless of the reason, I agree that there were probably ways to either deal with it, or modify it. I'm sure Ladybug isn't the only 2D character in existence to have polka dots on her main design. If other animators could figure it out, so could they. Or, yeah, just change her costume a bit haha
It's not that CG can't work, I just don't think it works for this show (at least not the CG they are using).

So I think I've figured out how Bunnix works, or at least I made rules work with the terrible writing of these episode.
    Burrow Rules/powers explained
    1. Burrow allows the user to create a doorway to any point, past or future, in time.
    2. Only one doorway can exist at one moment in time. Notice how Bunnix can only open one portal at a time, she compensates for this by opening and closing portals in rapid succession but notice how she can't create more than one unlike time-tagger who can create several time tags in one moment of time.
    3. Burrow can create a doorway to a pocket dimension that exists outside of time. The pocket dimension itself isn't part of Burrow's powers so to speak and it might in fact not be a separate dimension. If time is a circle in miraculous (which makes sense given the Serpent) then the place Bunnix is going is simply a point before time began and/or where it ends. A nothingness void. Refer to Void Space rules below for more details.
    4. Only two bunny miraculous's can exist at one point in time. The Miraculous from that current time and the miraculous from the alternate time. This explains why during the time tagger fight Bunnix didn't travel back from after getting her butt kicked and warned her past self what was about to happen. Likewise it explains why Bunnix didn't do a time clone thing and summon a bunch of herself from different parts of time to gang up on Time tagger. This is also the best example to show how the Serpent and Bunny powers differ.
The Serpent power allows the user to experience a moment in time over and over, learning and keeping all of their memories however the Bunny only allows a person to travel back to a point in time once. Bunnix can't travel back to a point in time that she's already traveled back to (aka no redos or do overs). The best way to explain this is if Bunnix A is the original Bunnix and she goes back in time to warn Bunnix B of the threat; Bunnix A can't go back to that moment or any moment she existed in timeline B since there can't be two Bunnix As at one moment in time.
    5. This isn't a rule or power; more like a clarification on how Bunnix is using burrow. While at first it looks like Burrow can be used like the Horse power, Burrow isn't actually teleporting. What's happening is that when Bunnix jumps to a different point in time she changes her position in that new time then opens a doorway back from that new position to the fight at the moment directly after she teleported away. This gives the illusion of the horse power but it clearly lacks the horse power's range. Like Bunnix can't open a doorway to a place she can't physically get to at some point in time. Whereas the horse user can open a portal to anywhere at a point in time, regardless of where that point is located.

    • @alexblake5369
      @alexblake5369 2 года назад +15

      Void Space Rules
So again this isn't a power inherent to Burrow, it's just a benefit that Bunnix can utilized since she's the only one who can access the void space.
      1. The void exists outside of time which means time limitations and consequences will not affect anyone while they're in void space. For example Bunnix won't age, get hungry, or tired etc. while in void space.
      2. Since the void exists outside of time Bunnix can create multiple doorways while in the void. Remember it's not that Bunnix doesn't have the power to create multiple doorways, it's that two of them can't exist at one moment in time. Likewise if a Serpent user was in the void I imagine second chance would have no time limit while in the void. In fact I also theorized that de-transformation wouldn't be an issue in the void and people could use their powers as much as they like since you wouldn't get tired or fatigued while in the void.
      3. This is actually a continuation of Rule 1 but I wanted to give it it's own highlight. While in the void changes to the timeline won't affect a person in the void. Chat Blanc is the best example of this. So time is fluid in Miraculous, which mean the future can and does change. This would explain why past or future Bunny users don't try to prevent bad events from happening throughout the show. I think Alix is unique in that she might be the only Bunny user to have discovered the void and it's potential. Because normally a Bunny user would be affected by a change to the timeline that wipes them from existence or prevents them from getting their powers.
However while in the Void and using her doors as spy glasses Alix can see such dangers and act on them to stop them. This also explains why Alix doesn't leave the void during Chat Blanc. Because if she does she will be erased by the new timeline.
This also explains why Bunnix uses the void as her own person headquarters as it's probably the safest place for her to be.
EDIT: 4. This is a continuation of rule 3. If a person who was wiped from their timeline leaves the void space they won't instantly disappear. However their existence will become more unstable, the longer and more time they spend out of Void Space until they eventually disappear all together.

@@TheArtisticAloubell Oh no, these are the duck tape I'm trying to use to cover the giant plot holes Chat Blanc and Bunnyx's existence has created. The show, being terribly written, keeps powers extremely vague and ill defined which is terrible writing. I still don't know the limits of "Lucy Charm". It's literally the press A to win button. Go ahead and ask your fans on twitter if they were a villain on the show how would they beat Lucy Charm without a specific Anti-Lucy Charm power?
As for your question about Bunnyx disappearing hand and feet, it's because Bunnyx left Void Space. At least that's my BS to explain it. To clarify when you're in Void Space when an event happens that should wipe you from being in Void Space you become a paradox existence. That means you don't instantly disappear when you leave Void Space however you do become more unstable and ill define until eventually you do disappear.
Notice how Bunnyx hand and then leg disappearing only happens right after she leaves the Burrow. However before that she seemed fine. Also this explains why Bunnyx didn't just immediately destroy Ladybug's gift once she realized it was the point the timeline changed (there was really no point in having Ladybug fight Chat Blanc except to figure out how the timeline changed). Because she was too scared to leave Void Space and risk completely destabilizing and disappearing.
Also it's important to keep in mind that Bunnyx isn't 100 percent on current Ladybug's side. Bunnyx wants to persevere her timeline. The timeline where she got her powers. Bunnyx could have easily stopped Cat Blanc from happening by warning Cat Noir in the past and giving them a heads up on Hawkmoth's real identity. Or just tell Adrien to not lose his cool and don't transform in public (side note, REALLY creepy to have Adrien and Ladybug go from friends to immediately "I Love you O.o") however she doesn't do this because this would still change her timeline.
That's not to say that Bunnyx is evil or anything like that but just keep in mind that in Bunnyx's mind her timeline is the just and good one and any timeline that changes that must therefore be stopped.

@@alexblake5369 Lucky Charm creates a single item that allows you to use anything else you have on hand to defeat the enemy. If no possible immediate victory exists, it instead gives you something that will inspire you to act in such a way that leads to victory (such as getting another miraculous holder involved).
Now, I could answer "how do you defeat Ladybug," but you specifically asked "how do you beat Lucky Charm?" So the assumption is that we're fighting Ladybug long enough to use her Lucky Charm, then trying to defeat it.
There are some scenarios where a villain could defeat that power:
      1. Be nonphysical with the ability to manifest physical effects. If Ladybug can't hit you but you can hit her, you can't be defeated. Make sure to include earplugs or something so they can't psych you out.
      2. Alter her mental state. For example, if you have the ability to induce phobias, give her a phobia of using the item she ends up with. If you can alter perceptions, mess with her sense of balance or induce nausea. If she can't use the item or even figure out how to use it, you're doing it right. Bonus points if she can't run away.
      3. Absorb all physical objects. As seen in canon itself, with those akumas that have the ability to simply absorb all incoming attacks into themselves (or into a sketchbook, or a camera), it's very difficult for Ladybug to do anything about it. If you make it _yourself_ that they're absorbed into, that's extra protection. Not foolproof, but with some intelligence behind it, it could work.
      4. Any power that restrains or paralyzes Ladybug so she can't move. For example, telekinetically holding her body in place, freezing her in time or ice, grabbing her limbs with literally anything your power controls, etc. She needs to move to use the item or grab another miraculous. If she can't move, she can't win. At least, so long as you're not stupid about it.
      5. Area-of-effect instant-defeat effects. How on earth would Ladybug defeat someone who instantly disintegrates everything within a twenty-foot radius of themselves? Or creates a gravitational loop that crushes things around you to the ground and throws things above you into space? Or just constantly generates an explosion, like the Ash Beast from Worm? As seen in canon, the only way Ladybug can avoid those kinds of effects is just by not being in the area when they go off.

This honestly feels like that 2 time travel episodes made in MLP where they did multiverse and a closed loop theory but both in different situations. For example in MLP during Season 1 or 2 there was an episode where Twilight did something small that caused her to go back and time and not making any changes in the end making it a closed loop theory. But in Season 6 finale when Starlight went back in time and prevented the Rainboom from happening causing something catastrophic happen in different timelines.
I think maybe it's possible for both time travel theories to coexist if written well like it depends which events affect big or small. But then again there are some loose end gaps in this so I cannot be too sure. Hope this actually helps as well. ^u^

I know what you're talking about for MLP. The first time travel episode is in season 2 and it's called "It's About Time."
Yeah...I don't actually think the writers were aware that they changed their time travel rules when the season 5 finale happened. Remember that MLP was supposed to end after season 3. After that, they had to come up with new magical stuff and storylines. And while, yes, they directly referenced the spell used in Its About Time during the Season 5 finale, I'm not confident that they paid attention to the rules they established. They instead changed the rules to fit the cool stuff they wanted to do in the finale.
Idk...maybe I'm wrong. At the end of the day, time travel doesn't exist, so theoretically it could work any old way. As long as its written well and makes sense...and is consistent...it's probably fine.
But personally, I wouldn't have two theories working at the same time, it does complicate things and takes away tension when the writers can just go and change the rules whenever they want.

There would be one way to have the bunny miraculous retain it's opness and not break the story. Have Bunnix only use it to help ladybug against akumatized villains with equally op time powers. As well as make it clear to the audience that Bunnix messing with time would have consequences that keep her from abusing it. Similar to the way that the consequences from using the wish keep ladybug from simply asking for the cat miraculous and combining them to defeat hawkmoth and save Paris instantly. This would ensure Bunnix's existence wouldn't create so many confusing plot holes/issues.

Hello! As stated in the video Time Travel is a tricky element to work with. From my POV, there are two basic options with their custom rules: Single Universe and Multiverse.
Single Universe requires plenty of careful planning to keep integrity, I agree if young Bunnix dies then older Bunnix does not exist. Usually a Time Guardian is a good idea, in Sailor Moon it was Sailor Pluto. And the Guardian job is to make sure messes with the Timeline, not the villains, not the heroes. Time travel is therefore kept under very strict controls because just looking at events may trigger a paradox with disastrous consequences.
Multiverse is much more open, where options create new outcomes which coexist together. Properly managed it creates a rich setting (Avengers!), poorly managed it creates a lot of garbage.
Which one does ML use? The "Thomasverse" I guess, where integrity is not important and all outcomes are tied to the key event: "If Ladybug and Chat Noir know their secret identity before Hawkmoth / Shadow Moth / Mega Moth is defeated, then it's the end of the Universe!!!" Sounds cool from a Creator POV, but very silly (should I say stupid?) for everybody else. "If you want your show to be appreciated by your audience, do not create it for you, create it for your audience!"
Thank you for such a great video, wish I had seen it before! 🙂

The best I can think of with this time travel stuff is it's a closed-loop theory that's a bit loose. Like maybe it was meant to happen but then Bunnix almost disappearing and her comment that everything must happen at a certain time sorta undoes that. I wish the creators would take more care with their plot, like yeah maybe it's a kids show but clearly not just kids watch it. The plot it's developing is too complexed for the audience they said it was targeted at (granted some kids may understand everything that's happening).
This show has so much potential but it's getting wasted. Season 4 is doing a lot better than the previous seasons but still.

Maybe that's how it is??? Idk. They should have made their time travel rules clearer. And it's pretty sad to be honest😢

Burrow? A better ability with that name would be if Bunnix can make portals, like a burrow to another place.
Imagine a fight were Bunnix makes portals around a Villain and jumps around them via the portals, attacking from one angle before appearing somewhere else. Or, a Villain shots at her, she opens a portal and the projectile comes though. It could reappear from a different portal, hitting the Villain.

I have a very odd and dark theory about how the time travel in miraculous makes sense, specifically using the 'closed loop divergance' theory, which is a varient of the closed loop theory that allows for someone to make minor changes to the past, but the grander scale of the future will always be set in stone. The Chat Blanc incident always happens in every timeline, however how they solved it depends on whether bunnix got involved or not, if she didn't then things would have played out slightly differently than we saw, there would be no time tagger since there would be no future for him to come from yet, and that slight change could have made a notable difference. Whether that difference is that Ladybug survived the initial blast, her earrings survived, or any other situation happened, it all means one thing, Chat noir would have gotten the ladybug miraculous and recreated the world with him and ladybug finally back together. The reason the timeline got all messed up was because that small issue with the time tagger somehow cascaded into the ladybug earrings getting destroyed by Chat Blanc's blast.

  • @Doomzdeh

How about the fact that Master Fu supposedly was supposed to have the Bunny Miraculous (he said that only the Peacock and the Butterfly were missing), and yet Alix also had it the whole time as a family heirloom set up by the Timebreaker incident?
And how did Future Alix give her ancestor the Bunny Miraculous in the past? She supposedly went back to ancient Egypt and was stuck in that exhibit the whole time. What are the odds that it ended up in Paris? How did she leave the message to break that specific exhibit to free her if she was stuck in it? How did she survive being stuck in it for so long? Why did it matter that her miraculous was broken if she could just transform and set everything up and then fight Timebreaker anyway?
And the Bunny made sense when the main characters refused to use it except in times of extreme crisis, as you never know what butterfly effect you’ll set off by interfering far in the past. But then they just use it to defeat an akuma in Strike Back, which defeats that principle. And now Gabriel won’t use it, most likely.
I’d really like it if Gabriel tries to use the Bunny to fix what happened with Emilie, only to find out that he already tried that in the current timeline and failed. That would explain why he can’t just win immediately. Unfortunately, they’re unlikely to do that.

I think marinette knows this because in oblivio, chatnoir could not transform when plagg was far away from him. I don't know why they don't utilize alix now. Maybe because they don't need her that much in the series so far or they are saving it for a better episode. or something since miraculous ladybug likes to keep us waiting forever XD.
question 2 answer: Bunnyx said thet if you change something in the past it will change the future and she said it was to dangerous. Maybe they didn't do that in the show because then there would be no point of ladybug and chatnoir and if bunnyx had prevented all of this ladybug and chatnoir would not be here right now. Also in an episode, Bunnyx said she was the fail safe for when everyone else had failed and we have already seen how dumb the characters in the show are so they probably didn't think of that XD. Honestly, Cat Blanc and that other one where they fix it with time travel are kinda two of my least favorites since it feels like they're yanking the viewers around like:"Oh, they're gonna finally fall in love.... NOPE!"
I don't know if you've heard of Hirohiko Araki (creator of JoJo's bizarre adventure) but in his book about writing manga, one of the things he lists as being bad is "It was just a dream" at the end of a story as it makes the reader feel like they just wasted their time. I think using Time travel to fix it has the same effect. Like "Well, it finally got good but it ultimately was disappointing since it... Technically NEVER happened."
It's one of my biggest complaints despite only watched it last year, early this year. I liked the season 4 finale but... I felt like the rest of the season sucked as it did very little to support the finale

  • @arosegaming4793
    @arosegaming4793 2 года назад +1

I coulda sworn I commented already but I cant find it so; My thought is that Bunnyx's power is actually the ability to travel through the multiverse. Its more than time travel. The miraculous with pure time travel is the snake miraculous. It rewinds/undoes the course of events for everyone but the traveler. Whereas the rabbit can travel through all timelines, even the ones that have yet to pass or are forced to 'never' happen. HOWEVER in order for it to work, a) the miraculous must exist in all timelines (Note that Bunnyx didn't start to disappear until Cat Blanc went to destroy the planet- its feasible that the Bunny miraculous was still intact even if unusable. b) The user of the bunny miraculous must not only exist, they must become the miraculous holder at least once in the 'main' timeline. Bunnyx traveling from the future to the past doesn't count, her 'current' self must become Bunnyx. So, in the Cat Blanc, although a Bunnyx had visited the timeline, there was no way for her 'current' self (drowned, presumably) to become Bunnyx anymore. So the Bunnyx we know had to 'repair' the timeline in the sense that she had to change the course of events to make the timeline we know of the new 'main' timeline in order for any version of herself to remain in existence.
This works still despite the new trailer that shows Bunnyx fighting Monarch in the time box because while this means there are two fluffs, they are both from the 'main' timeline. She's visiting from the future, so same timeline, and as she was always meant to interfere, her interference does not create a contradiction. This is how I understand her power as of right now

The Cat Blanc universe is the MAIN timeline. The first timeline. It's the timeline that was meant to happen. So if Alix was meant to die, then Bunnix shouldnt exist.
If the writers wanted to make a story where future Bunnix starts to disappear because of something that happened in the past, then the plot should have been a bad guy went back in time and caused Cat Blanc to happen, thus affecting the timeline and threatening Bunnix's future. That's the only way that would make sense.
      That, or multiverse theory.

I think Miraculous' time system is like an eraser type time travel. Kinda like back to the future. Marty went back in time and messed it up, then his timeline started to get erased(and so did he by his hand fading in and out of existance). We see the same happen with Bunnix.
So, in Bunnix' timeline Marinette never left the note (Bunnix had Rose's plushie because of the bet) then Chat Blanc happened and Bunnix' timeline began to dissapear.
The only thing that doesn't make sense is the fact that Chat Blanc would come before Bunnix? So that would suggest that there are more timelines?
Or it is a closed loop timeline, with a timeloop in Chat Blanc. Chat Blanc happens, Bunnix get ladybug to fix it, the timeline goes on normal so Bunnix gets her miraculous and can go back when Chat Blanc affects her in the future... if that makes sense.

At least then there could be plausible deniability, like if she knew in that present timeline as Chat Noir turned into Chat blank and started doing crazy stuff she just hopped into the burrow right then and there and then his mass destruction of their world wouldn't have actually affected her... I think that Prisoner of Azkaban is a better illustration of a closed loop theory (just saying, but that could just be my opinion). You have Harry and Hermione go back in time to save Buckbeak and Sirius but also that was already taken into account based on the hints shown in the sequence of events before they used the time turner--like Harry thinking he saw his dad only to find out he saw himself casting the Patronus.
Star Trek is also one that does a good multiverse theory (I never got into DBZ), in the movie First Contact. You see a glimpse of Earth having been assimilated and, had the Enterprise not been in the time bubble-thing, it would have stayed that way and their going back stopped all that from happening so it was allegedly KIND OF like if they had won that initial fight with the borg at the start of the movie.

And I learned in a previous episode before bunnix is always in a wired sort of time where nothing exists a made up time made for the purpose so they can hop into any time and learn about it so nothing happening affects her. So she can save the day anytime so it explains why they are alive. But another problem arises the past bunnix is still around why aren't they there. And yes the powers are very op so you can basically live forever so there are lots of clones of the hero and that doesn't work so the death thing can be solved but another problem arises so I think they should work with mathematicians and etc to improve their time theory. Thank you for the video I have never thought about this.

it makes even less sense when you realise that the future from time tagger was shown before Chat Blanc. In Chat Blanc Bunnyx was slowly fading away implying that because she dies in Chat Blanc future she starting to not exist, who know maybe the rabbit miraculous gives her a resistance so she didn't fade straight away. Miraculous most likely works on a knowledge future, as in the future is what it is assuming no time travel if time travel happens it can change the future then that new future is the set future unless time travel is involved again. This explains the different futures through time travel changing the set future, as well as why you'd be hesitant to use it as its the level as the wish in terms of wiping out the universe in this case wiping out the timeline, by adding the rabbit holders resistance to temporal effects it just barely makes sense... then you realise how does time tagger coming back eventually cause Chat Blanc

For example one of my favourite movies of all time the girl who leapt through time is the definition to how make a time travel story.
Miraculous ladybug does a horrible job with the time travel and to be honest everything in this show is a wasted potential.
They never showed the weakness of the bunny miraculous so if it is this overpowered why can't just bunnix know hawk-moth 's identity and again bunnies actually knows because of chatblanc right so why didn't she go to save emilie from dieing?
Actually they didn't make bunnies say that time travel is dangerous but they never show .
Actually there are times you need to be told the information not shown and it's called X position but in this situation all they have to do is show us the consequences.
The show itself is a wasted potential.
    Okay chatblanc was intead disturbing.
Gabriel was awful in this episode.
I felt so sorry for chatblanc like he was so alone also when he destroyed the world it was because Gabriel made him go insane.
It was obvious in his fight against ladybug he already lost his sanity and I can't say that I blame him.
To be clear I don't hate Miraculous ladybug I don't hate any fictional work I don't hate anything which makes feel less human.
I don't believe in a work that is objectively bad but I can determine if it's bad or not through writing perspective.

I also think the Back to the Future type of time travel is trying to be.
1-Maybe Bunnyx came back right after the Timetagger episode. After going back, she immediately sensed that something was wrong and immediately started looking for the cause of the error. But she couldn't do anything anymore because she was already starting to disappear. (First her hands and then her legs became immaterial.) And when Cat Blank wanted to destroy the entire universe, it seemed that both the past and the future would have disappeared. (All "time windows" are broken.)
2-I think that's why she said it was dangerous to use. Maybe if you poke into the past you create a future where you don’t exist or you lose your power. And you don’t dare use it in the present either because you see the future and you’re afraid you’ll ruin it.
3-And the Snake Miraculous is all about changing events. There you don’t mess the timeline because there you create a time loop and all the wrong attempts simply don’t happen.

    • @TheArtisticAloubell
      @TheArtisticAloubell  3 года назад +1

See, the "back to the future" explanation doesn't work in this case, because it makes no sense that Marinette writing her name on Adrien's present is an "error" since it was meant to happen. When I say that something is "meant" to happen, I mean those are the events that transpire naturally without any interference. Without time travel interference, the Cat Blanc event happened. And since that's the natural timeline, Bunnyx shouldn't exist since naturally, young Alix died.
If they wanted to make this a "back to the future" situation, then they should have had someone in the future go back in time to mess with the past to make Cat Blanc happen (either on purpose or accidentally). Like...if we wanted to add a flaw to future Alix's character, maybe she saw teen Adrien and Marinette and thought that she should get them together early since they're so in love and it'll happen anyway. So she goes back in time and convinces Marinette to write her name on the present so that Adrien finds out and they become a couple quicker. It's through this interference that Cat Blanc, the unnatural event, happens.
And, if they wanted to make this a "back to the future" situation, there would be no point in Ladybug de-akumatizing Cat Blanc, because all they would need to do to fix that future would be to change the past. Simply changing the past makes the bad future go away, so she didn't need to fight him X'D
Having said all that, I appreciate your thoughtful comment and your insight into things!
      Thank you!

@@TheArtisticAloubell My guess is when Bunnix went back in time in Timetagger it was the initial trigger of the changed future in Cat Blanc. Time travel is said to have bad consequences. What if the “consequence” is Marinette dropping the present in Adriens room as Ladybug rather than the past that Bunnix remembers. She wouldn’t have done that if the events of Timetagger didn’t take place (if she didn’t go back in time). It is the butterfly affect. One little change will change the future. That is my thought, but I don’t know. It’s really confusing.

If we stop to think Pennybug didn't need to exist because Kaalki is not needed in this fusion, Burrow can already travel in time and space doesn't need a Voyage, and doesn't even come with " Pennybug used Voyage to go after Adrien to give the Dog Miraculous "she could have done it using Burrow and fed the Fluff right away so I still think Kaalki was useless in the fusion and that it only serves to make Pennybug dazzling, basically Marinette risked her sanity and health for nothing, the rules know how much the more Miraculous you use at the same time the more dangerous it is

  • @Christodophilus

We don't actually know, whether Alex was given the Bunnix miraculous by Ladybug, when Adrien was romancing Marinette though. All that was revealed in the burrow, was how Adrien and Marinette were connecting as regular teenagers. Cat Noir and Ladybug didn't enter the burrow's reel, until confronting Hawkmoth. So a bunch of superhero action happened in Paris, we didn't get to see in the burrow. Plenty of opportunity for Ladybug to give Alex her time travelling miraculous.
Bunnix could have pulled Alex into the burrow, before the final cataclysm, and the burrow exposed Alex to the multiverse thereafter. Where she grew up with different Ladybug's, teaching her how to be the last resort in their timeline. But Alex always had the intent to return when she was old enough - and reverse the end of everything, in her own timeline. So it is possible to have a multiverse and a fixed point timeline, all because of the burrow.

OH! That's another interesting thought. Its still a bit of an issue that Bunnyx only exists because of her interfering with the past so that she could exist. It's a bit of a time paradox, though. But it is a time paradox I could get behind only cuz it sounds cool lol
It's like...imagine you have a banana. But that banana only exists because you went back in time to one or two years ago and planted a certain seed that grew that tree for the banana. If time travel didn't exist, neither would that particular banana. If that makes sense.
At the end of the day, I just want the writers to explain through the show how their version of time travel works so that everyone could be on the same page XD

I've got a few thoughts bout the video so bare with me here...
First, I do think not watching the episode or show does a disservice to the critique that you're giving. I understand not wanting to watch it, it's a sizable show now and I know for some people it's hard to get into. But I do think the episode tries to convey another time travel theory that is its own concept from Multiverse and "Closed Loop", which leads into my second thought...
I think Miraculous does another time travel gimmick as supposed to these two that you proposed. I think it's a time travel theory similar to what Outlander uses in their show, where there are 2 (or even multiple) timelines going at the same time as it were, which is what allows characters to hop between timelines and manipulate things in either time. This would explain why Bunnix had to come back, she knew her future was in jeopardy and she's shown throughout the episode slowly loosing her body to what this new future threatens. By fixing the events that occurred in the shows timeline, she was able to save herself and her whole future and kept things on track. Now sure there's still holes in this, but it makes more sense as it's in its own theory.
My biggest criticism of the show now that the 4th season is done, is that there's little consequences to actions taken. The 2 times we've had "reveals", it's always gone by so fast just to prove that "oH wElL tHeY cAn'T kNoW", instead of having them reveal their identities, and there being an actual conversation between Adrien and Marinette, and there being a team dynamic OUTSIDE of costume. Instead, they just say it spells tragedy, and now they have to go back in time and make it so the end of the world doesn't happen. We FINALLY see a consequence to Marinette's actions at the end of Season 4, but that's so far in and now with Hawk Moth holding almost every miraculous besides the Black Cat, Ladybug and Peacock, who's to say he can't just use the miraculous of the Bunny, go to a time where he can just quick pick them up, and call it a day?
Overall, this show suffers from very messy writing, and a show runner who's too prideful to listen to critique he's given about his show. He's blocked people in the community bringing up fair points and constructive feedback, calling them haters and the sort. It's just a messy production and I do think the show could do with a MASSIVE overhaul, with more thought and more careful writing.
Besides that, I just have one more comment about this video specifically (and I'm saying this as someone who's only watched this one video of yours), but you're very quiet and the music at the beginning blasted my eardrums. Ads that came on were also super loud because I had to turn the video up. Maybe you've already fixed this issue, but figured I'd still put this here in case it hasn't.
Good video besides! Keep it up and I'll probably check out the rest of your channel! 🙏

THIS IS NOT A RANT! You did a good job of explaining you point and views on time travel. I also are not saying you are wrong! This is just me explaining how I believe it works and I believe fits in the show lore. This section was written last, so this is foreshowing this the post that it is a lot longer than what I would have liked. If anyone reads it then let me know if you agree with how I put things to gether,
I haven't thought about this until you brought it up. But I feel there are other rules of time travel you left out on as there more than just the Multiverse theory and closed loop theory. For an example Time Travel in futurama have some universe constant and their stuff that can be edited changing the current future as a whole. I feel they have set up the pieces up to explain time travel in the Miraculous show but didn't deliver it well in the slightest. From what we can tell there are some stuffs in the show that are constant like Lady Bug and Chat Noir and Hawk Moth. They have been through history in the show. While unknown if those are the chosen names these are some constants. We can also take up to this point as Gabriel's wife "dying" and masterful temple getting destroyed as some other constants. No matter what the universe will do whatever is necessary to correct those so they will happen. While other moments like, Chat Blanc, Desperada, and even Timetager are moment where anything could have happened to actually change history. The only exception to changing KEY moments in history is by making a wish with the ladybug and cat miraculous. Which destroys the universe and puts it back together to fit your wish. Still keeping the constant but with the accepting of adding a balance to the world to fix the constant. With all this information, this is the best sense I can make of the Miraculous time travel. So, with all that lest cover Bunnex quickly because this is LONG. I feel there was a "Timeline before this one where everything goes normal, I mean this as legit this normal Ladybug and cat noir but not as the show shows it. (The original timeline. Or timeline A if you will.) Some event goes in place or Ladybug just gives the miraculous permanently (While still young) to Alex. This in its self-causes a shift into the timelines as time traveling in itself, shapes history. Which cases some events to happen that didn't happen before. while massive or major we know there are some constants as what they are we don't know. So Bunnex is now the TVA helping keep whatever constants there are in order. And if she fights the wrong side of a constant then simple, she will lose. while unproven the way of their universe seems to suggest so. Like I said this is my theory and understanding of the shows time travel.

That doesn't make sense, though. Because in order for the timeline that wasn't supposed to happen...to happen, there needs to be time travel interference, otherwise what happens is whats meant to happen.
The show may TELL us that the timeline of Chat Blanc is incorrect, but that's not what's shown.
Marinette naturally left her name on Adrien's present, leading to Chat Blanc. Now, if someone from the future came back in time and influenced her to do that, then yes, Chat Blanc is the unnatural timeline. But since that didn't happen, Chat Blanc was meant to happen.

Hello I mean no hate (I’m not going to say anything negative) but in the newest special there are many multiverse in the special tikki (ladybugs Kwami) says “ It's just.. I've lived for billions of years in every single one of these universes simultaneously, and they're simply aren't enough hours in your lifetime to tell you even the tiniest bit about it. So, I choose to stick to the basics and make the most of the time we have together” and the bunnix I believe she can’t go to other universes the only miraculous can travel thew the different universes is the roster miraculous ( it can give any power you want but not the powers of other miraculouses) and the butterfly miraculous it can give some the power to travel thew time (like in time tagger) or thew multiverses and bunnix dose not tell ladybug about hawk month or about anything she says she can’t mess with the present or it would mess with the time line like how you used chat blanc she couldn’t help ladybug since 1. If ladybug fail she can go back in time to get another ladybug and 2. In the episode evolution (e1 s5) she only got ladybug since hawk moth could mess up the time line and she can get a lot of ladybugs and chat noirs. And the reason why she didn’t help ladybug in the present she say this “I’m the last hero that is called when all the other failed” the episodic time tagger, yes i know she did needed the ladybug and chat noir but she later says this “hey! You must’ve failed then” ~chat noir “Well yes but no, because of your cataclysm you broke my miraculous allowing time tagger sending me back in time and trapping me into stone” ~ bunnix. And you may be asking “so then why didn’t bunnix help out with the present?!” she didn’t because she didn’t want the time line going on another stream (I can talk about timelines but i know I’m boring you right now) the future can easily be rewritten like in cat blanc when ladybug added her civilian name Adrien found out ladybug was Marinette but at the end of the ladybug lucky charm was an eraser so bunnix helped ladybug go back in time to erase her name. And their I rest my case (btw I love your vids keep doing the great work and you got most stuff right)

I feel like MLB Timeline fits more into a multiverse theory because you can create an alternate version but you can erase it in the future and pretends it never happens from what I understand. (At least Sailor Moon timeline is clear to us)
Anyway, I think this episode was confusing us because since everyone died then how did Bunnix exist (unless her other timeline was destroyed too but it wasn't clear)? So what I'm understanding is that Mari accidentally reveal herself kind of and then Adrien figured it out that she's ladybug. She basically changed the whole timeline and lead to the whole world being destroyed which lead to the future. Since the future was gone then Bunnix wouldn't exist unless she somehow survived. But, there is definitely a plothole here, and left us with so many questions. Hopefully, later seasons will explain this time travel thing.

    • @TheArtisticAloubell
      @TheArtisticAloubell  2 года назад

The whole thing about Multiverse Theory is that those new universes aren't destroyed, they simply exist in their own space. If multiverse theory was at play, then Bunnyx wouldn't start to disappear.
Miraculous is actually attempting to work under Back to the Future rules, but it isn't doing it correctly DX
And the Bunnyx existing thing where it doesn't make sense is a HUGE paradox I mentioned in another time travel video.

I forgive you for not knowing how the bunny miraculous works because you admit to not watching the show but alot of people who have watched the show apparently can't pay attention at all
Miraculous exists on a single timeline that can in fact be altered, changing it on purpose however is not recommended as along with the original timeline any time travelers (specificly is they utilized the bunny miraculous) from that timeline simply cease, it seems to be a more strict version of back to the future rules, I say more strict because pretty much every character who knows enough about the miraculous treats it like it's more strict, like simply letting someone see a ball is enough to erase the original timeline. Bunnix herself is a unique case since she's from an already altered timeline, she safe until the point where the timeline is supposed to be altered and that is when she starts to disappear. Earlier I said bunny miraculous users can't alter the timeline but if you watched the show you know that there are 4 miraculouses that allow some sort of time travel, along with the bunny there's the snake and what might be surprising to non viewers the ladybug and black cat if used together (they don't exactly allow time travel but they do alter the past to change the timeline) all three of these transplant the mind of the user into the body of there alternate timeline version allowing them to change things without fear of ceasing. The bunny miraculous works differently by keeping the user in there original body. Different time miraculouses don't seem to interact as far as I can tell. Bunnix only travels to timelines where the Viperion already set things to the optimal outcome.

And because everyone is dead, including young Alix, Bunnyx starts to disappear. It's the writers ATTEMPTING to use the Back to the Future time travel theory, but because of reasons in the writing this doesn't quite work.

Cat Blanc creates a future where everyone by Cat Blanc is dead.
If it were Multiverse, Bunnyx would continue to exist because her timeline is a separate dimension than Cat Blanc's and thus she's allowed to continue to exist.
BUT since she started to disappear, that means her past has changed because her younger self died and thus she can't exist anymore.

Bunnix is incapable of interfering with the natural state of time; she can’t just change something in future because she doesn’t like it. She can only intervene when something messes everything up, like in Cat Blanc when he basically destroys everything. Bunnix can tell LB when something will happen if it will aid her, but as far as I know, she can’t say everything. But then that leaves questions like: Does she know who LB really is? Is she not supposed to tell Mari, as it will mess up her timeline? Is she completely clueless as to who LB is? She knows everything that will and has happened, so would she know everyone’s identities?

Is she incapable? Or does she choose to not do it? Those are different things. Did she verbally say that there is a limit to her power? or did she only give vague warnings like "you shouldn't mess with time because BAD things will happen?" There's a chance she only doesn't do more is because she's a good person with morals.
Like...if a person with bad intentions got their hands on the bunny miraculous, would they be able to mess with time as much as they want, or does the power actually have a limit?

i won't defend how Miraculous is because I watch it with my niece and sometimes I don't understand it. But in the new season, they have the image of the TARDIS from Doctor Who in the background of Alya's room. I think this might be a point to that fact that time has some fixed point. Like the Titanic sinking is a fixed point. But other things like the world being invaded can be altered.
In Doctor Who, there is a whole episode with Weeping Angels that can still a persons years by touching them and sending them into the past. A girl runs into a house and the Angels, a tape is made of her talking to the Doctor on a DVD. Then it stops because the written transcript stops. ITs a good episode. But I think they might play Doctor Who timeline theory into the show which is a mixture of closed loop and multiverse. Like somethings have to happen in a fixed point while others are fluid and can change.

Well I mean...the choices we make determine what happens in the future. Different choices have different consequences. And some consequences are more favorable/beneficial while others are not.
There are technically two versions of multiverse theory.
One version says that every single possible decision we can make has its own distinct timeline.
The other version says that there is only a branched timeline when time travel gets involved and a change happens in the past.
All in all, it is just theory as time travel doesn't exist.

Just discovered your vid and thought I would shed some light on what happened with Bunnyx.
In the episode Alix/ Bunnyx are from the future. The reason why she traveled back in time is because she and her timeline were beginning to fade away/ disappear.
This was due to a change in the past. That change being Adrien figuring out Ladybugs identity,
Bunnyx needed to figure out what had changed in the past and to fix it, to save her timeline and existence.
Basically it’s a closed loop timeline. But the timeline can branch out, if it branches out it will destroy the previous future timeline. Creating a new loop. In other words it will destroy Bunnyx timeline.
It seems like Bunnyx power is incredible but it can only be used for certain circumstances, unlike the snake and horse miraculous that can be used at any time.

    • @TheArtisticAloubell
      @TheArtisticAloubell  3 года назад +1

But that still doesn't make any sense. If future Alix was meant to exist, then she should be able to exist without any interference in the past. Without time travel interference, Marinette wrote her name on the present. It doesn't make any sense that that was the change to the past. The ONLY way that her doing that would be a valid change would be if someone from the future went back into the past and convinced Marinette to write her name. Without that, then that's what Marinette would naturally do. And the natural result of that was Cat Blanc. And in the Cat Blanc timeline, the MAIN timeline, Alix doesn't exist and so future Alix shouldn't exist.
Technically, Bunnyx going to the past to tell Marinette not to write her name is the actual interference and that WAS NOT meant to happen since it took an outside force to change the event.
      Does that make sense?
Time travel is a super tricky thing to work with, and sometimes even harder to understand, but I feel like one simple change would take away my issues with the time travel system displayed in Cat Blanc.
I do appreciate your input, though! Thank you for commenting and watching

      @@TheArtisticAloubell
      I see your point
But I feel like you didn’t understand what I was trying to say, so I’ll try to explain it differently.
What the episode showed us is that there are both multiverses and only one loop timeline at the same time. So instead of referring to the timeline as a loop or a multiverse, let’s call it a autocorrect timeline, at least for now.
In an autocorrect timeline(we’ll use your coffee or tea analogy) you have a choice between drinking tea or coffee, at the moment when you are still figuring out what beverage you will drink, two timeline appears. One timeline you have coffee and in the other you have tea. At this point their is a multiverse.
Then you decide to drink some tea and drink that tea. At this point the coffee timeline can not exist because you did not drink coffee. And so the coffee timeline starts to erase itself.
For continuity sakes to match up with miraculous ladybug, when a timeline starts to erase itself, it doesn’t happen all at once and instead the people of this timeline go through a horrible process where they watch themselves and the people around the disappear.
But the tea timeline has now been made canon and everyone in that timeline is now safe, for now…
In the case of Marinette writing her name, before she wrote her name she created two timelines, one where she left things as they are and didn’t sign her name and one where she breaks into Adrien house and signs her name. At this instance both timelines exist.
But when Marinette signs her name, allowing Adrien to figure out that Marinette is ladybug, this caused the Chat Blanc timeline to become canon and the timeline where Alix has the bunny miraculous to vanish.
At this point the timeline is autocorrecting itself and Alix, due to her having the bunny miraculous, when she realizes that her timeline is being erased is able to use her miraculous to go back in time to find out the events that will lead to her timeline being erased.
I would also like to mention that even while Alix is in the past, she is still being slowly erased. Showing that it takes a certain amount of time for a timeline and the people in it to be fully erased.
So an autocorrect timeline has both a loop timeline and a multiverse timeline. But there is only one true timeline.
It’s an interesting take on timelines and time travel but the miraculous team kind of shot themselves in the foot. Because of how they wrote this episodes there are only temporary multiverse timeline. So if there where multiple Bunnyx all coming from different timelines, they would most likely all be fighting with each other and trying to correct the timeline, so that their own timeline will be canon and won’t disappear.
Either that or there is only one timeline where the bunny miraculous was given to alix and no one else ever gets the miraculous. Or all those other timelines the bunny miraculous holders weren’t able to figure out how to fix their timeline in the time frame they had before they faded into nothingness.
My theory as to why the bunny miraculous isn’t used by master fu is because if he used it to change the past he would disappear and he would destroy his own timeline.
That’s why only someone’s who timeline is being destroyed by past events should use the miraculous.

@@Thisisnottheanimeurlooking4 OH I get it now. You're saying that until a definitive event happens in the past/present, all possible futures exist somewhere in different universes and then they get erased when a particular choice is made. Using that theory, there are an infinite number of possible futures and an infinite number of Bunnyx's lol. It's a neat idea, though! If that is what the writers were going with, they need to make it abundantly clear. And like you said, it has some other implications that I don't think the writers thought of.
It is a cool idea, though!
