Winner here. Both the watches shown and the presentation. Reminds me of a fortis marine master. Really nice both black and white. Under rated brand. The money goes on case and design. I love everything about it.
They’re both good looking watches Marcus! I have an Alpina Startimer quartz which I purchased some 2 years ago. I generally like the Alpina aesthetics & this is pretty damn good mate!👍🏼😎
Yeah When I first encountered this line a couple of years back I was really drawn to it. This was when there was no integrated braxcelet and I remeber telling them you guys shuold really do that with this line. About 6 months later BOOOM. Bracelet. For the money these are really good value I think. A strong and unmistkable look.
The absence of Calling out in BIG BOLD font in the movement and watch spec of whether or not this is a true Travelers GMT leads me to believe it is not...I wish brands would be more forthcoming with important information. "Extreme" is everywhere and no mention if the GMT is a Jumping hour independent or slaved like a caller GMT.
Why does it matter? Unless you are travelling constantly around the world, a simple caller GMT is sufficient, otherwise a World Timer would be best suited to you!
@@WestCoastAce27 You’re dreaming now. Even Tissot or Certina are more expensive now. If you’re looking for decent diver around 1000-1500 dollars then get Mido Ocean Star. Alpina is above those brands in terms of finishing.
I think I would prefer the white dial, just the crispness of the white seems more appealing. Nice watches. 👌

That's a gorgeous watch. I have the non-gmt Seastrong already but would consider adding this one to my collection.
Definitely one of the underrated recent releases.
Great review Marcus. Always enjoy your work. Lovely watch 😊😊
Ahhh thanks for the comment. Its a team effort making these productions but really nice to get a personal shoutout!

2:52 cool video - not trolling but is there any reason to use the crown below the water?
Holy shit thats a monster of a watch. I want one.
That is a LOT of watch for that price.
completely agree
Nice
Is it possible to buy a matching bracelet separately?
Smokes both, Tudor and Panerai IMHO

@@JamesAlexander14 What I need or don't need in a watch is no business of some stranger on the internet.
I'm kind of surprised that you didn't catch this. This watch cannot meet ISO standards because it doesn't have lume on the second hand.
Too expensive, remember where Alpina stands..
Where? Between 1K to 3K. Below is Citizen. Above is FC.
Yes. $500-750 lower. I’m not going 300 meters down; if that’s what’s driving the price they wasted their time for 99% of buyers.

Panerai knockoff.
Alpina is one of those brands whose watches are kinda underwhelming in the flesh.
Hmmm I dont think so. This looks nothhing like a Panerai aprat from the size. But I can see where your going with that.
Nice recap. But too expensive. Cut back on the water resistance - silly spec to impress people. Divers going that deep use computers.
