Someone very close to me, someone I had loved all my life, as had my parents, became a different person virtually overnight. We didn’t understand then that rage and venom were symptoms of the cruelest of diseases. I hope this family rallies to help Great-Grandpa because I think Great-Grandma is probably being put through enough hell.

Idk if it’s just because I work with dementia patients but to me, I’m definitely seeing signs of early dementia, you can still function and do things like even suing people, but suddenly a build up of anger is there along with recalling recent events incorrectly but fully believing it because that what your memory is telling you

Don't even ask for it back or declare it a loan - just give it to them if you have it. The ones that return and give it back on thier own, even if its years down the line, never forget those people, because those are your people.
This is so true and how I treat "loans" as well... don't give it if you're gonna be upset when you don't get it back. I once loaned my aunt 3k and she didn't pay me back, I never said anything or made a fuss about it but many many years later I was in a hard situation and guess who swooped in and saved the day? My aunt, and I didn't even have to ask! She knew what I did for her when she was struggling and in that moment, I needed the 3k much more than I did right after I gave it to her!

Grandpa was way too convicted in his feelings and beliefs for me to not believe him more - Great grandaughter gave me pathological/professional liar vibes, especially when she seemingly bluffed her way out of putting grandma on the phone, it just felt like she was mastering the art of manipulation with both grandpa and Judge Milian.

He definitely has grief and misdirected anger...probably due to the grief and not wanting to actually grieve by continuing to fight with whomever he can. Granddaughter said he has to because I'm still here, still going to see, love and hug him.

If a family or friend borrows money from me, I lend it in hopes that they will pay me back, but I don't expect to get paid back. This way I will never have to sue them.

I’m very sorry he had to bury all his kids and grandkids. Really. But this girl, so calm and collected. I’m amazed- i hope life has become very nice to her. I’m in tears.
