One of my favorite parts about Slipknot is on the outside and if you haven’t seen any interview with them, you are likely terrified of them and imagine that they are all super mean guys who hate everyone and are filled with rage and violence 24/7. Then you take time to listen to interviews like this or Documentaries about their history and you realize that they are some of the nicest dudes you could ever come across. After Paul died, one of the things that kept them pushing forward was that they realized their music helped people deal with the pain of life and hurting situations. I don’t know why, but I love that. To me, it’s a classic “Don’t judge a book by its cover” and also inspires me to always remember that as a species, mankind is made up of truly good people who want to help each other and just spread joy and happiness however they can. Even if the vehicle to spread that happiness and joy comes in the form of a band like Slipknot. Love these dudes!
I have a day one copy of 'Iowa.' August 28th, 2001. My 15th birthday was August 27th. 'Iowa' was what I wanted for my birthday. When he talked about the vellum layout...that brought back memories. I still have that.
Oct 31, 1999 I saw "Fright Night at the Brady Theater" in Tulsa with Dope, Orange 9mm, Machine Head, Slipknot, Sevendust, and Coal Chamber. Still probably the coolest show I've seen. I love hearing the stories of how intertwined the community is. Your interviews with members of Sevendust brought me to the channel originally. Thanks for conducting awesome interviews!
Still waiting on the Jared Gomes one, I was going to ask him if he would during the broke 20 year anniversary UK tour but it got cancelled. Maybe next time :D
@@Goodcompanywithbowling Awesome!! Blackout was the only album available in the UK for a long time. I managed to pick up Church of Realities on an online store a while back. All the best Scott.
I'm glad Corey still gives credit to Anders. Anders was a great singer for what he did but I do think Corey fit the band a bit better. Anders is just a fascinating singer because of being apart of that Mate.Feed.Kill.Repeat era. So interesting, oh yeah and same with Crowz. That's also interesting to listen to.

Nothing else compares to slipknot live
Hahaha.. you lucky bastard..
I'm joking lol, congrats! I love Slipknot!
I think that this may be the best interview that I've seen. It's so casual, like you guys are just two friends hanging out. This is great.
Thank you so much. Let me know if you want some Good Company swag.
@@Goodcompanywithbowling Where do I get it? How much does it cost?
