To be fair, there was an Ensnaring Bridge. Emrakul first means he wins immediately if he hits Ulamog or Karn, instead of one turn later, but it was basically over.
Nah I'm sure that time he blew up Titania's land was an accident... And that time with the cyclix And that one time in Serra's realm And that time.. oh I give up
Why could he not cast Emrakul then activate Urza on the extra turn while swinging with Emrakul? An Emrakul in hand is basically a free Emrakul when you have 15 actual mana available...

Is this actually just a really good version of Tron? One of Tron's weak points is that it can whiff after setting up its big mana, and Urza gives so much reach with his mana sink.
45:34 "Maybe we should be playing one basic Island" Or two. Two basic Islands ensures you can cast Urza through a Blood Moon/Karn, the Great Creator combo (or Blood Moon plus anything that shuts off mana rocks).

that is the most awesome build of the tron decks ever! it might be a thing in the competitive world I think 🤔
I guess we could have played it, taken another turn and then started spinning, so we've have an Emrakul on board if we eventually hit and Ulamog to get rid of Bridge. It doesn't do anything right away though.
He actually was dead on board if he couldn't create a blocker for memnite. If the opponent taps darksteel citadel to animate blinkmoth #1 and taps blinkmoth #2 to animate itself he has 6 artifacts. So plating represents 6 damage, vault skirge is 1, memnite is 1, and the untapped blinkmoth is 1. 6+1+1+1=9 and he's at 9 so he's dead.
Seth, you do know that you can use Golos, Tireless Pilgrim and a single Cascading Cataracts to basically do the same thing, right? You don't even have to worry about getting blue mana and one Golos activation can potentially get you 3 cards. Not to mention Golos himself can find you that missing Tron land.
Silverdeathgamer290 What manafixing are you talking about? Did you even check what Cascading Cataracts does? You only need a Golos in hand because it gets the Cataracts, and then Cataracts + online Tron lands lets you activate Golos, which gets you 3 cards you can cast for free.
Your math is a little off: In a population size of 47, assuming he had one phoenix in hand and 3 in his deck gives him a 0.2775208% chance of getting two phoenixes from that thought scour. However 0.5550416% if all 4 phoenixes were in his deck, which is close to 5/1000 :)
@@dudeofvalor9294 I was referring to the opponent's deck during that game. Whir prison is a good deck though just the decision on bringing needle in just to stop 1 card seems bad unless there were more bad cards in main than not.
I think you could build a similar deck that focused on Polymorph, but in this deck we don't really have cheap creature to sacrifice and risk hitting Urza (we also don't get the cast triggers from the Eldrazi which is a bit annoying).
@@mattfenner7824 Yeah I like the idea of this deck, but Unexpected results seemed like dead weight after watching the matches. An Emrakul's an Emrakul but the Urza spin could be anything, it could even be an Emrakul!

Urza and his lands. Yet the meme of "tron" is so prevalent, that you can't name it just an Urza Deck...
I guess you could say round 1 was... unexpected

Nah, show them how to play "Minnesota Nice"
This deck is amazing. I made a very similar one with Golos and less Eldrazi
I'm building Simic Tron as well, but I'm going more for a Hydroid Krasis/"X-spells matter" list.

Big takeaway from this: Tron is still good.
Is the All Is Dust needed? It never got sided in and Ugin seems to do a similar job.
