My Dad would take our little league team to Riverfront Stadium to watch 1974, 1975 Reds. @ 65 I feel so blessed to have watched Sparky Anderson & His Big Red Machine! Maybe the greatest Baseball Team ever? My Dad Larry E. Johnson was one of the greatest baseball coaches, he taught many young boys how to play the game. Pete Rose was one of a kind! So was my Dad! I love you Dad!
I am 59 years old. Grew up in Middletown. Been a Reds fan my entire life. My 85 year old mom is the biggest Reds fan I know. She adored Pete and so did I. He IS the Reds.
As a huge cardinal fan from Arkansas ,Pete Rose was one of my favorite players, he played the game hard and right, my late wife and myself was in St Louis watching the phillies play ,when Pete was playing for them ,we were coming out of Busch stadium after a stadium tour that early afternoon ,as we were walking out pete was entering Busch stadium ,i look at him and said to him hey Pete ,he wave at me and asked me how i was doing ,Pete should be in the H.O.F, i have four baseball cards of pete ,just a great player, R.I.P
I'm grateful and thankful to God that I grew up in Cincinnati when Pete Rose played baseball with the Big Red Machine, because I now realize that I'll never see another player like him ever again.🙏

Imagine getting 200 hits every year for 21 years straight, and you are still 56 hits short of Pete’s record.
And that is why they called him CHARLIE Hustle!!✌️🇺🇲
Paul Sommerkamp. Long time Reds PA announcer.
One thing for sure we will all know who Pete Rose is ban or no ban
STOP SMOKING METH
Truly great footage..but the nonstop drone of the funereal music is annoying, and Pete would have hated it.
Yea wait till after he died to do this. Classy.
