- Join a live aboard family sailing in Arctic Norway. Starting in the Lofoten Islands they sail slowly south, anchoring and exploring some incredible islands along the way. They witness the first signs of spring and experience the spectacular northern lights along with many other surprises in this harsh, beautiful and ever changing landscape.

I filmed the aurora with my GoPro hero 10 on night lapse mode and with my Sony RX10 (I was only able to film it with this camera because the sky was still very light).

Eine Frage: Ich beobachte, dass Ihr Schiff unter der Backbord-Saling eine deutsche Flagge führt - gibt es dafür einen speziellen Grund? - Another wonderful video - with impressive scenery! It's also great that you show the names of the animals/birds that appear in the video - it's really helpful! One question: I noticed that your ship flies a German flag under the port spreader - is there a special reason for that? Thank you very much.
Thank you so much! I’m so glad you enjoyed it! We fly the German flag because we are dual nationals and have German passports and this helps us travel more freely since Brexit 😉

We were flying a Norwegian courtesy flag. 🇳🇴
It’s quite high up on the mast so it didn’t get into all the shots but you can see it at 5.41, 10.43 and 22.12 😉
