This is The Worlds Most Expensive Shop Stool

  • For years i've been using a $20 Husky stool in my garage. That stool has generally served me well, but you get what you pay for and it kind of stinks. On several recent videos viewers recommended that I pickup a Vyper garage chair, so I did! I went with the Elevated Steel Max, with the quick height adjust and i'm thrilled with the purchase based on my initial impressions. I may do a follow up video after 3-6 months to provide a full review, let me know in the comments if you'd be interested in seeing that.

I don't think you made a mistake at all. You just found a way to use your tools a lil longer. Genius!

Ha, glass half full, I like it! As Bob Ross says, there’s no mistakes only happy accidents.

This is one those things that once you see it you gotta have it. I need a chair now. Sometimes watching these videos gets costly. Keep up the good work

Ha! I usually have to follow the directions every step of the way (some of them, which aren't to clear), my son, he usually tosses them and just gets to work. I guess there is a middle ground.
    Good job!

Certainly a middleground to be had, I wish I had paid more attention this go round. Oh well, this is how we learn 😅

Look at the head of the bolts. If they have markings you can look up what grade they are.

Great video. Most videos would edit out the mistakes but good for you for keeping them. We all make these kind of mistakes whether we like to admit it or not. It’s very easy to skip steps in the instructions when assembling something you have been waiting for a while! Love the content

Thanks for the kind comment! Agreed, I usually am so excited to dig into stuff that I miss fine details (exacerbated by the fact that i'm filming). Oh well, this is how we learn 😅

That chair is a perfect reason to invest in SAE sized tools. Metric is the majority but SAE isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

Oh Dustin, I could not agree more. I may have went overboard, but let’s just say I will not have an SAE problem any longer 🤣

Make no mistake, if they did, I would've gotten it! 🤣 Seriously though, I can't wait to post my 6 month review of this chair, its been worth every penny so far.

This exemplifies the training is complete. It started with self checkout at the grocery store baggage our own groceries. Home centers eliminated cashiers with loss prevention monitoring and yes we are paying to for the experience of doing their job.
Here we have the most expensive chair company taking all the profit in lieu of them assembling this chair with their own labor then putting it in an appropriately sized box and shipping it ready to use.
No we’ll be your trained monkeys and enjoy struggling through the once in lifetimes process. In the end the nicest chair in the world with it’s scratched powder coating and misassembled hardware will not be covered under the lifetime warranty when it collapses due to improper installation by the claimant.
Enjoy we are officially sheeple in this country.

Theres always a tradeoff to be made. Assembling this in USA would likely add 20-40% to the purchase price. Assembling off shore requires shipping finished parts overseas, then shipping finished items back, added cost for QS as well. Not sure what the right answer is.

I’m certainly interested in these products, don’t mistake my observation for disliking them. I have designed and redesigned my wish list just waiting for the promotional sale to pull the trigger. You mention costs related to overseas shipping being a factor.
For the price point they should in my opinion offer an assembled option. You may have the absolute best kit car in the world but not everyone wants to invest their time into the assembly.
      Enjoy your channel.

@@sirsparksalotassembly of a product shipped to you or bought in store has been around way before self checkout was even thought of. Imagine how much shipping would be if you buy everything fully assembled 😂😂
